The person I spoke with told me that they were very very busy with their auctions all during the month of August, 2013 and talked about each auction they were having. I said I was requesting appraisal services and would be placing several items for auction, and again I was told how busy they were, really, up until October, 2013, at which time I asked if she knew of another service I could call because I needed someone sooner than that. She recommended Skinner, who I called and set an appointment for the following week. About 1/2 hour later, a gentleman from Eldred's called and said he could be available in two days, and that the first person should never have told me they weren't available. I stuck with Skinner because I felt summarily dismissed by the representative I spoke with. Too bad I didn't get the gentleman on the first try.

Eldred has such a fine reputation, that if you were going to have something appraised, you would just go to them. Eldred came to my house, and appraised things for me, in my home. I am in my 60's, and I never remember them not being in business. All A's! I will use Eldred again, and recommend them as well.
