Liberty did a fantastic job with our addition. Adam is very professional, knowledgeable, and an overall good guy. He is very responsive to messages and phone calls and quickly gets to the bottom of any issues/ questions. The pricing was very reasonable and the quality of workmanship was high. I will definitely be using Liberty again for future projects and highly recommend them.

Adam is a really great guy. He lets you know what his plan is and keeps you informed step by step. Sometimes things out of anyoneâ  s control change, timelines change, especially dealing with permits, weather or sometimes other sub contractors. Adam wonâ  t dodge a question, always answers his phone or gets back to you immediately. His core people that do the work are top notch guys who work hard but most of all they care too! I couldnâ  t believe the quality of the products he uses and the workmanship is second to none. His prices are fair and you wonâ  t get the feeling heâ  s ripping you off. Even his subs (plumbers, electricians, tile & floor guy) are outstanding. His finish carpenters are awesome!! If youâ  re looking for an honest company to work with, Adam is the guy you want to hire. We had a couple of discussions (business is business) over the time of the construction but at the end of the day he does great work. I guarantee you wonâ  t be disappointed when everything is said and done.

We solicited multiple quotes for replacing cedar shingles on our colonial. Adam and Liberty not only gave us a fair quote, they were one of the few who actually took some time, listened to what we were looking for, and didn't try and upsells on additional material or services. Adam did a good job of keeping us informed when the job was to start and the team showed up on time. We had a small crew that was dedicated to our project and didn't have a revolving set of workers. The crew was very respectful and focused on delivering quality work and not simply getting the job done. They did a good job also cleaning up on a daily basis, being respectful of our house and the safety of others. Adam was always responsive along the way on timing, things that were discovered (as there always are), and making sure he was still connected to the project. We were extremely happy with the work that was done. It took longer than we initially expected but that had more to do with weather and other unforeseen issues. But I would have rather it taken longer and better quality, than rushing the job.

When my wife and I were looking for a contractor to replace our siding, Adam was quick to reply. The several other companies that wanted to give us a quote wanted us to schedule meetings to go through sales pitches and the meetings were booking several weeks out. Adam came by the next day and gave us a very competitive quote. He came about a week later and started the project. In two weeks he had finished and that included us adding a door part way through. The quality, price, timeliness and ability to make things simple have been unmatched in our experience with contractors. Highly recommend his services.

Adam's core building crew delivered quality work and excellent craftsmanship. The guys were easy to communicate with, detail driven, and very pleasant to work with. In spite of a few delays due to supply-chain issues, the job was seen through and we are quite pleased with the results.

Do not hire this person. He takes on jobs and sends unqualified individuals to work for less money in order to increase his own earnings. I hired Adam Mitchell to remodel my bathroom. He assured me that I didn't need a permit and immediately began working in my bathroom. After demolishing it, he sent workers to cover the walls with sheetrock instead of using blue board. Live wires were exposed on the wall, and there was even mold that he planned to conceal, but fortunately, we caught it in time. The holes in the walls that his staff created looked as if a two-year-old had made them. There were substantial gaps between the boards, and when we inquired about it, he dismissively said, "Don't worry; it'll all be covered with plaster." Furthermore, we discovered mold all over the insulation, and one of the supporting 4x4s was rotten and not even attached to the floor. Shockingly, he intended to close the wall without addressing any of these issues. Our electrician pointed out hanging wires and a live wire that Adam had no intention of addressing or informing us about; he simply wanted to close up the wall. We had given this man $10,000 in advance, and it became clear that he was trying to cut corners to keep costs down. Every time we attempted to discuss these concerns with him, he would become confrontational, raise his voice, and remind us of how busy he was. I had provided him with a link to the tiles I wanted for the floor, but he never placed the order, and we ended up with tiles we disliked. To make matters worse, he closed up the walls without having the inspector examine the bathroom, which was when we decided it was time to part ways with him. We are still dealing with the repercussions of his shoddy work. The paint he used in the bathroom must have been the wrong type, as it now has bubbles and is peeling. We now have to rectify that as well. This individual is highly unprofessional, and if you want a safe, well-executed project, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Frankly, he should not even have a construction license.

Adam the owner knows construction and is easy to work with. His employees are great to work with, are very skilled as well as respectful of both our home and ourselves. They delivered on what we wanted and proved to be flexible in that regard. One project turned into a second one and we would hire Liberty again.

Adam and crew were awesome and I canâ  t recommend them enough. Not only was Adam willing to take on a project that most contractors wouldnâ  t (a new basement pour that abuts a crawlspace as part of existing structure), but they offered a fair price and provided a great finished product. Additionally, Iâ  d be remiss in not mentioning that all of the crew were respectful and responsible people that I trusted wholeheartedly with being at my residence even if we werenâ  t home. Iâ  ve recommended Liberty to friends and family already, but figured I should spread the word more widely for other folks in and around the South Shoreâ ¦ as I know from experience it can be hard finding good (and trustworthy) contractors in todayâ  s climate. 5 stars across the board, without hesitation.

My experience with Adam Henry, the Contractor who owns Liberty Construction and Landscaping, has been and continues to be an epic disaster. He has dragged on what was supposed to be a three-month project for almost two years, and it is still not finished. He abandoned the job over and over again. He tried to repeatedly extort more money and force me to sign a new contract, even though he had enough funds to complete the job in full. When I refused to give more money, that is when the profanity and name-calling started. He would call me the most vile names and harass me continually via the phone. He would tell me that if I did not sign a new contract and agree to a new price, he would not come back on site. Mind you, he already had 3/4 of the agreed-upon price, which is a violation of his license, and he had not done any of the work. It got to a point where I would not answer his calls; I only communicated with him via text so that I could have a record of the exchanges. When I told him that I was going to file a complaint with the state, his response was that I should go ahead because there was not a thing the state could do; he would just file bankruptcy and open up his company under another name. He went on to say that if I opened my mouth, he would drag this project on indefinitely, I would be out all the money, and he would never finish it. He misappropriated funds that were given for this project, and when he could not start or finish my project, he repeatedly resorted to scare tactics, harassment, and extortion. I ended up filing a police report, and only under threat of arrest did he finally start the job. That was a year after the original agreed-upon start date. He dragged that on for another year. When you think it could not get any worse, he starts making adjustments to the design plans in an effort to cut costs and states that the plans are only a suggestion and that the architect is. I started contacting other people who had active building permits on the south shore, and everyone I contacted had a similar story. None had a project that lasted quite as long as mine, but the profanity, harassment, and not starting or completing jobs as expected appear to be how he runs his business. I cannot tell you not to use this company; I can only tell you that my experience has been and remains an ongoing nightmare.

I have nothing but good things to say about Liberty Construction. We wanted to convert our existing garage into an in-law apartment for my mom. We reached out to Adam after a year of dead ends with a previous contractor. Adam took over the job and was perfectly willing to start from scratch to get the permits and negotiate a fair and reasonable price. Adam always responded to texts and phone calls the same day. Despite COVID, a construction supply shortage, and lumber prices increasing, Adam was still able to accommodate all our requests. Everyone who worked on the project was respectful and attentive. We are extremely happy with our new in-law apartment and highly recommend Liberty Construction for any construction project!

Did great job. Didnt use all the materials written into the estimate so there was that... But roof looks good and it hasnt leaked yet..

We had Liberty construction build a family room addition, relocate a dining room, and build a study. The quote we received for the project was very reasonable. Adam worked within the budget and was flexible in accommodating changes we requested to improve our project. We really enjoyed working with Adam and his team. We were amazed with the renovation changes to our home and are very happy with the end result. I highly recommend Liberty construction.

When we first looked for a contractor to help us, we actually had a couple of guys come and look around to give us an idea of price. The first one quoted a CRAZY amount of money, including some things we clearly stated we did not want, and the second one never even got back to us! (Not cool!) Then I saw Adam s company online and decided to call. He came out right away and gave us a really reasonable quote that SAME day before he left! I signed the contract that day! We wanted our entire old-fashioned beach house re-shingled with natural cedar shakes. We also had some areas of trim on our 2nd story that needed repair and painting needed to be done in areas we could have never reached. Adam s crew addressed all of it! He offered to include the repair and 2nd story painting for a small fee, and we were happy to let them tackle it! - They did a phenomenal job, and we also enjoyed having his guys here! They were all very friendly, personable, and good at what they do, and Adam was always just a phone call (or text) away! He always responded quickly to any questions! We would definitely call on them again in the future and recommend them to others!

We hired Adam and his crew to build a 2 car garage with full 2 bedroom in law above. Our entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. Not only was it below our budget but it was done before our deadline and the craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. I would highly recommend Liberty for any of your home improvement needs.

He never finished the job He yelled and swore at me and my family. He tried to intimidate us. His quality of work is very poor, he did not insulate in areas. We have a major beam that is sagging and causing cracks in our walls.

Adam and his crew have put heart and pride into every nail driven thus far in our project. Knowledgeable,great customer service, with an attention to detail. We made the right decision with Liberty Construction 👍

I met with a handful of contractors last Spring and received estimates for a new patio and fire pit. Liberty Construction not only came in with a fair price, Adam was reasonable about when he could start the project and approximately how long it could take. I explained how I wanted the area layed out and what I had in mind for material. I went with exactly the design and materials that Adam recommended - no hassles! Adam and his crew were professional,personable and trustworthy. Adam was always responsive when I had questions and wanted nothing more than for me to be happy with my new outdoor area. The patio and firepit came out absolutely beautiful; I couldn't be happier! When choosing a contractor, please be certain to choose someone you can trust at your home...this is much more important than a job taking a bit longer than anticipated. I would recommend Liberty Construction for any of your upcoming projects!

Stonework done on the front of the house was beautiful and draws a lot of attention as people go by the home. Update: 06/22/2021 The recommendation is zero Stars. This was a large project that took over a year to complete because it entailed a four-car garage, mudroom, and breakfast nook addition, and remodeled the outside of the home. Two years later, the punch list has not been started, yet there are major items including removal of heat and air conditioning from the master bedroom with the agreement that Adam would put a mini-split with both heat and Air Conditioner and fix the holes that were left in the wall that was 9/30/2019, and I am still waiting. I wrote a review about the stone that was put on the front of the house and how nice it looked, but parts of it fell because of insufficient adhesive, yet I was told they were the best at the stone. A section of the facet is missing, glass was broken on the new garage that they installed, missing window cranks, low profile trim divider, not all plugs working, gap underneath the front window, front doorknob does not open or lock properly, flooring in kitchen lacks sufficient grout. The problem rest with a continual agreement to show up and repair these items but he does not show up every single time. Do not make the final payment until you are sure that everything works, knowing what I know now I would wait six months or more.

Took 7 weeks to get siding on home. Should have been a three week project but workers did not often arrive prior to 10 or 12 o;clock one leaving at 2. Called owner to ask if workers were coming because I would leave garage door open as they were storing items in the garage. He would say yes and no one would come. I had read one review that was not favorable but I thought it might be a disgruntled customer. Things not completed, doorbell hanging off house, debris left around house, broke my expensive bird bath and never told me they had. Luckily because of that one negative review I held back $1,000 until everything was complete, that never happened. As I said to owner a few times the job can not get finished if no shows up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
