+ 1 moreThey were great! Carter obviously has a lot of experience and they did a great job! The quote was slightly higher than the one that I received from a competitor, but I felt that they would do a better job and I think I was right. They were very thorough and took care of a number of issues in the chimney. I will use them again in the future!
Description of Work: They installed a chimney crown, repaired some broken bricks and crumbling mortar in the chimney and waterproofed the chimney.

Description of Work: Excellent and thorough service in cleaning the furnace flue and the fireplace flue and the firebox. Service also included a thorough inspection of the chimney,botth inside and outside. Carter used a ladder and was on the roof performing the outside inspection. Carter used a high tech camera for the inside inspection and I was able to see the exact condition of the chimney walls. | |I was very pleased with their services. Compared other chimney sweep services but none included the camera inspection for this basic level examination. I will definitely use them again!

+ -1 moreThe procedure was very simple. You just have to know what you are doing and I did not. Anyway, Carter was only at our home for a short while to return the damper to its correct position. He was very nice and easy to talk to. He placed a large mat in front of the fireplace to prevent anything from getting on the floor. He was concious about removing his boots when he came in the door. He was in and out in a few minutes. The job was so simple he would not accept payment. We have recently moved to the area, as has Carter, and he said it was a housewarming gift. It sure was because the weather is incredibly cold and the warm air was going right up the flue. Thanks a lot for the great service.
Description of Work: Carter DeFranceaux, the new owner, came over to fix the damper. It was off track and I could not close it.
