I have mixed reviews for them. They were good. I had a couple of things that rubbed me a little bit the wrong way, but overall, I like them.

Description of Work: A very large tree had been hit by lightening. It was just a few feet from my electric lines and was in an awkward place to cut and remove. Phillip's responded to my call quickly, gave me a quote which they did not change, and took care of the problem as quickly as possible. They also ground up some other branches etc. that was not part of the original quote at no additional charge.

Description of Work: I initially emailed this company asking for an estimate on tree removal and some stumps to be ground. I didn't hear back after a few days, so I called their office and was only able to leave a message. So, I left a message saying I was following up on an email I sent regarding an estimate. I got a call back saying that apparently my original email went into their junk mail box. Understandable, that happens. So, as I was speaking to the woman on the phone we set up a time for someone to come and look at the worrk that I wanted done. The person never showed up. I called back again, sheduled another visit and again no one ever showed up. This company, Phillips Tree Service, gives the appearance that they apparently don't care. This was just an awful, awful experience !!!

Phillips Tree Service arrived on time, got straight to work, and cleaned up beautifully. Some of the work required the use of a crane which was managed with great skill and attention to detail. The estimate that I was given a week ahead of time was abided by. The guys were polite and professional. A great job all around!
Description of Work: Phillips Tree Service cut down and removed branches from several trees on my property.

We liked them a lot! They were very knowledgeable about their work. Before I could ask any questions they had already explained most of what I was going to ask. They had a very competitive price, and the guy was just really nice in generally.
