The team arrived just ahead of a snow storm and completed half the work, then buttoned the roof up securely. It was almost a week later when they were able to return and complete the job. We had no problems in the interim. Snow cover prevented the crew from a complete clean up, so they returned several days later and took care of that. The guys on the roof were clearly very good at what they did, worked steadily all day, and did great work. This is a no-nonsense company who understand what needs to be done, made recommendations to improve the job (with a reasonable price), and completed the job under difficult conditions.

Roof installation went well until the first day I experienced an ice dam. It was very specific to a day where I had snow on my roof, it was about 25 degrees F, and the it was a clear sunny day (would not happen on an overcast day). Under these conditions, I had ice running from out from behind my newly shingled sidewall of the sun loaded side of my house. Upon inspection, I realized that they had not extended the rubber underlayment out past the crown moulding and instead the edge terminated behind the crown moulding. Any water handled by the membrane would fill the area behind the crown moulding, freeze and back up into the wall. After many attempts to get a resolution, which included many conversations with the owner of the company, and a lot of empty promises to fix the issue, it did not get resolved. There was never an attempt to repair the issue. I was told by the owner that issue was mine as there was too much heat loss in the attic. I was also told that the membrane would not hold water as there were a lot of nails driven through it, which I considered to be very insulting to even suggest. A lawyer was involved and again a lot of empty promises to resolve the issue. It became too expensive to pursue legally. The situation has continued to this day, whenever the specific conditions occur. My crown moulding has pushed away from the house and is in a state of disrepair. The warranty that the company advertised was not honored. Based on estimates received from two highly regarded roofing companies, the entire roof would have to removed to resolve this issue. I would not suggest the use of this company.
