We haven't had a chance to call them. The connection is not good at times, we don't get the channels properly, so that is something to be improved on.

See above. We've been told we have to go through the rebate argument EVERY billing because that's the way they are set up to handle our situation!!!!!
Description of Work: At the outset (April 2014), we were quoted a bundle price of $95. On that basis, we committed to the $120 installation cost in our new home. Since then, it has become apparent that we were quoted an incorrect price and Verizon refuses to honor their quote directly. So, every month, we call to get a rebate back down to the original quoted price. VERY time-consuming, insulting and frustrating. Their product is good, their customer service is abysmal.

It is better than most. I have had to deal with the customer service, when I left the phone I was amazed with the fact that I was stuck with a two-year contract, I had to pay $400 for another phone, and I was appalled. I think I carried on and on until they finally got me a phone that had been refurbished, which was better than the one I had. It was the same phone but it worked a lot better. I got what I wanted and I paid a lot less; the refurbished phone was a good price. I like the phone. They were good.

Verizon doesn't give me the white pages phone book anymore unless I ask for it. I went to look for somebody's number the other day and every phone book I had in the house was yellow pages. I called the company and the lady told me that it would take about two weeks to have them send it. I have to call now if I want the white pages, which I think is ridiculous. I would rather have the white pages than the yellow pages. I have to call or go online to order one which is free. The Internet service is okay. It takes about 30 seconds to get on the Internet and the service isn't bad. My land line has all the regular features that are normally there like caller ID, call reading and so on. I am not sure, but I don't think I have three-way. When I started with Verizon, their price was $75. They added on all the different things and the price has increased which is disgusting, but I wonder how many are legitimate and how many aren't. When I first moved here, I had no phone every time it rained or snowed for any period. After one storm I called the company and told them that it was not in my line. I had disconnected all my phones and reconnected them and I still had the problem every time it rained or it snowed. Finally they sent somebody out to check their line and they found a squirrel's nest which was affecting the line and they fixed it.

They are too expensive. I would use them again in the future because I don’t have a choice. There is only one other company. It’s really a tough market because we have to use who we can get. I am not happy with the choices.

We have had no problems and it works like it should. It came with the phone and we did not have to pay extra. It is just blended in the monthly bill. I have it on my land line in my home. It works great and they have improved it in the past two years.

It’s a great service. I haven’t had any issues with them. If I do have problems, I just go down the street and they take care of everything. I’ve never had to call them for anything. I am very comfortable with the service and they do a good job. It costs a little more money and now they’re realizing they can make more money by changing things.

Extremely slow Internet with numerous outages. I have called and used the online technical support more than 30 different times and they keep running the same diagnostics and either telling me there is no problem or several times they schedule someone to come to the house because they can see that the Internet is not working. Invariably I get an automated phone call the next day saying that the scheduled visit has been canceled because the Internet is working again. The next day the Internet stops working for hours and the process repeats itself with someone being scheduled and then canceled. The tech support people keep running the same diagnostics and not providing any new information and have wasted countless hours of my time. The online chat customer service are not authorized to send you a new modem if they determine that is the problem and have no say in the billing process either to give refunds so it is simply a waste of time. The online customer support agents also do not have access to the phone history and phone customer service agents have no access to the online provider. They have repeated shown that they do not care about the customers. I am being charged monthly for Internet that does not work. I have never before received such poor service from an Internet Service Provider and one would think that as the number of technical support transactions approaches 30 someone would either apologize or step up to fix the problem but no one seems to care. I have also been lied to by Verizon technical support, I was told on the phone once that I would be receiving a personal call from the agent with the resolution of my problem. I never received the call, in fact I received an automated call saying that the agent who was being sent to my house was canceled. I have sent an e-mail to billing requesting a refund and did not receive a response. I am planning on canceling my Verizon account never to use them again and will find a reliable ISP.

Very smoothly. I was able to do everything on-line such as finding instructions to determine if the problem was from a line outside the house. I was called on my cell phone twice to confirm the appointment. The technician came on time. I received a call later to check to make everything was done to my satisfaction. It couldn't have been easier or quicker
Description of Work: After not being able to use my landline due to loud static, I filled out a service request form on-line early the next morning. On-line I was given an appointment time later in the afternoon. The technician came at the beginning of the time range.
