Rich was very responsive. He works hard and got right out to see our place and get me a quote. His quote was very competitive and we hired him to do this work on an on-going basis. So far, he has done one cut and over seeded the lawn. The work looks very good and we are very pleased with our selection of Even Cuts to maintain our home lot.

Rich pruned some azailia bushes by the cellar door that over my head and so wide I could hardly get out the door. I asked him to please make them look natural, but half their size. They look great and very natural after he worked on them. He salvaged the poor dogwood that had been damaged by the Oct. ice storm, also looking great now. My shrub beds had been totally neglected for several years. Rich cleared them out, at times needing a pickax to remove a few small maple trees that had started to grow near the mountain laurel bushes. He mulched everything, removed all the debris, and left the yard looking neater than I could have gotten it if I worked a month on it. A downspout in the back of the house wasn't installed with any thought by a gutter company. The run-off was draining down the side of the foundation and covering the cement pad by the cellar door with silt. I really didn't know what to do with it. Rich suggested burying a flexible pipe connected to the downspout, and draining out further downhill under a huge rhododendron bush. Problem solved. He finished the work in less than a half an hour. I'm thinking of asking his advice on a poorly draining patio. I've been extremely happy with both the quality of Even Cuts's work and the price.
