Andy came over promptly and worked swiftly and professionally to address the leaky faucet and noisy garden hoses I had. He was personable, professional, and was able to resolve everything in short order. He was able to explain everything in layman's terms so I could understand what was wrong, and how he had fixed it. I'll definitely plan to reach out to Plumberboy Plumbing the next time I need something done.

Recent remodeling left the sink and therefore the vanity out of alignment. The task was to redo the drain to fit it to the wall. Another problem was the bathtub drain requiring a new stopper. It was determined that the entire drain assembly should be replaced. I was offered backup plans B and C as the cost to replace the assembly would be around $350. I am doing plan-B myself, a popup stopper. Plan C was a plug. Workable to be sure, but very inelegant. Props for not trying to stiff me for BIG repair (which I may yet do, but let's give plan B a try).

went fine , the only thing wrong is that the inside shutoff is in the wall .I cannot put the wallboard back because it will cover the shutoff . I will need to box it off or re-do..

He was very pleasant both on the consultation and the day of work. He gave me all my options for how the work could be done and how to save money. He showed up on time and was very accommodating for my schedule, as I'm a single mom. He also took the time to show me what my next steps should be. I will be very happy to have him come back for the final part of my project and any others.

Andrew showed up at 8:00 am on the dot. He was very polite and friendly to my surprise as his business card photo makes him look a bit tough. He did his job and everything was completed in about 30 minutes. Everything seems to work fine. I paid $68 for the 1-hr of plumbing services from the Angies List deal, plus $32 for the new part. Technically, I didn't use 1-hr of service as he finished in under a 1/2 hr. and the part I was charged $32 for really cost about $5 from the local hardware store....I am not thrilled about this, but I would have paid anyone $100 to just fix the darn thing.

I fixed item myself. For smell from one bathroom called other plumber.

This plumber came with a manual he had obtained because the faucet was an unusual brand. I am so happy to find a plumber I feel is competent and will do the job RIGHT!

I bought an Angies Deal for 1 hour of labor. He was prompt in asking for more details about the work that needed to be done, and then scheduling an appointment. He arrived on time and replaced the valve. This was an old shower valve, so we discussed whether it was better to just fix the problem, or replace the whole thing. Because of the layout of the plumbing, we decided just to try fixing the problem. After that was done, he had time to also replace our kitchen faucet (I was glad Andrew did it, because he was in there with his Sawz-All trying to get the old faucet out). The next day we saw that the shower valve was still leaking. Andrew came out shortly after we contacted him and made a small adjustment (at no charge). All is well now.

Everything went very well. He showed me what the previous "plumbers" had done incorrectly. Showed me a broken seal they put in and said, apparently, when they put toilet on seal, they cracked seal (and knew it) as hard not to see damaged seal. Said seal wasn't even level with floor and this caused toilet to leak even more. He put in a stainless steel seal, that came level with floor, and problem is now resolved.

To the best of my recollection: Plumber arrived on time. Professional behavior. Changed the old toilet flushing mechanism to new one. Charged $48.00 for the new mechanism -- this was in addition to the $68.00 for the Angie's list big deal . Approximately one day later, the flushing mechanism malfunctioned, allowing for steady flow of water into the toilet tank. Called plumber. He fixed the problem a day later.

The plumber came on time, worked efficiently, was very professional and done within an hour. I bought the special on Angie's List for one hour labor for $69 and just had to pay about $40 for materials.

He was punctual and quick. He was happy to give us quotes and advice for another project we have in mind. If we do go ahead we definitely will consider calling him back..

Recommended replacing the pedestal sink with a bathroom vanity since it was cauked and not removable.

Andy does good work and is always available or calls you right back. His work looks very nice and so far very satisfied with his two visits

The big deal worked. There was no additional cost on top of the big deal $68. The service was good. I liked it. They were quick, and responsive.

I purchased a 1 hour service call for $68.00. I asked him to fix a leaky faucet, but he told me I should just buy a new faucet (I think this was correct, but it didn't help me much). I also asked him to examine a drain in the shower that had been treated with silicon, and he told me I would have to replace the whole shower. Then he left. When I bought a new faucet I decided to try a different plumber. He replaced it, and also easily drilled out and replaced the shower drain without replacing the entire shower. THis procedure took less than an hour and could presumably have been performed by the original plumber. This solution may or may be suboptimal, I don't know, but I guess I feel like I didn't get much for my $68.00 except the "buy a new faucet" advice, which wasn't too satisfying.

It was really good. They were very courteous. They were very effective and timely. My interaction with them was very good. The work turned out very well. It came out a little bit more because I bought a product from them.

Excellent! Extremely professional & knowledgeable. With Andrew's advice & expertise we decided to repair existing faucet, returning a lesser model to big box store, saving us $100. Very, very pleased!

For anyone and everyone in Merrimack Valley, if you do not choose Andrew for your plumbing needs, you are CRAZY. On-time/early, professional, skilled and HONEST. The work I had done was nothing special but he was in and out quickly, clean and then provided me a quote for work which was 1/4 the price of a different Grade A Angie's list plumbing company. I will use Andrew for all of my future plumbing work.

The work was simple enough: just replace the handle in the toilet tank. But what ensued was quite unpleasant: the flapper does not align well when it goes down, so water leaks like two out of three times after one flushes. That's not the reason I give the guy a bad rating though. After I complained to him about this problem, he responded with the stuffs like "I am not supposed to wait there for days to make sure it works" and "you only paid a mere $68 anyway" etc. Yes, I "only" complained 3 days after because I have been busy with other things (just like I only have time sitting down now to write this), as if it should not be his problem anymore because of my wait. Anyway in reality I solved the problem myself by simply wrapping a rubber band around the flapper area so that it would fall down nicely. I have 15 rental units and I constanly need plumbing services. This young guy certainly won't get my business anymore. Once again it is 20% professionals get 80% business.

very easy. after on settling on an 11 o'clock appointment, I asked him to come an hour early if possible and he did. very nice and patient. answered questions and wouldn't leave until I was happy with every thing

Even with all the snow storms, Andrew emailed, called and promptly came to install my new kitchen faucet. The granite drill hole was askew, but he made it all work in short order. After a few days my lefty husband realized we may need to move the on/off from the right side to center. I emailed Andrew and he returned a few days later to adjust it. I tried to pay, but there was no charge. Plumberboy was one of the BEST services I've ever used, will employ again, and highly recommend.
