I was very happy that I decided to hire Ideal Home Improvement for the cabinet refacing piece of my kitchen remodel. The experience was completely painless. Alex is honest, skilled, professional, punctual, tidy and pleasant. He refaced the cabinets, removed a valance and other useless cabinet toppers (I don't know what they're called), built and installed new cabinet doors and installed pull out drawers in the bottom cabinets. He arrived on time each day and cleaned up afterwards. He did a beautiful job. There was a small nick on one of the cabinet doors that I probably wouldn't have noticed, but he noticed and ordered a replacement. As soon as it arrived, he contacted me about replacing it. I've received so many compliments on the cabinets. I highly recommend Ideal Home Improvement.

Alex refaced our 20-ish year old cherry cabinets and we could not be happier. The refacing business has lots of options in the area. Some are cheap, and you get cheap laminated cabinet doors and finishing material as a result. Some are almost as pricey as a brand new kitchen. Alex is not overpriced, not pushy, and delivered beyond our expectations. The quality of finish work is excellent. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get, especially compared to the competitors. Not only that, but Alex custom made some additional cabinets that integrated perfectly with our existing work (they were also much better quality). We were so impressed with the overall look and quality. There were no surprises on price, and he finished in 3 days. He also coordinated a countertop contractor to come in, who did excellent work. He supervised their progress and worked with us to coordinate everything.

The project was perfect and we are very glad we chose Alex. The workmanship is perfect and the Walzcraft cabinet doors and drawers are beautiful. We chose a mix of finishes and Alex was able to get us samples to choose from. He also changed the island and rebuilt the cabinet over the refrigerator so it would fit. He even put up with our over enthusiastic dogs.

Alex was amazing. He is punctual, trustworthy and a hard worker. He has cabinet refacing down to a science. He made out drab 1980s kitchen look like a modern showpiece kitchen. His pricing was also phenomenal. I cannot recommend Ideal Home Improvement enough. I would hire again in a heartbeat.

Our experience with Alex and Ideal Home Improvement has exceeded all of our expectations. We have been looking for a few years to re-face our kitchen. We have a large kitchen; lots of cabinets. We liked the structure but the cabinets were dated inside and outside. Our fridge and ovens were also on a brink of failing so we had to do something. We did not want the huge cost long time without kitchen, yet we wanted a kitchen that would look really nice, with quality material, and improved functionality. When Alex came over the first time, we could immediately see how professional and knowledgeable he was. He worked with us patiently to pick up the wood and style. He produced sample doors which were very helpful in the selection process. As we could not wait for all the cabinets before we replaced the appliances, Alex worked with the installers to build superb wood enclosures for our sub-zero new fridge and 2 new wall mounted ovens. A month later he installed the whole kitchen. He came extremely well prepared and it took him 3.5 days! We not only re-faced all cabinets, but he replaced all drawers and put inserts in some cabinets. We love this new kitchen! This has been an excellent experience beyond expectations. Alex is reliable, flexible, accommodating, and the quality of his work is top notch.

Unbelievably well! Alex got the whole job done within 3 days. He is a very skilled carpenter, He worked with Rosy's Granite for the counter top and the whole job got done like clock work. Our kitchen looks great! I would recommend both services in a heartbeat!

Dan the salesman, who came to our home, was fantastic. He worked with us, ordered sample doors, & worked with us for over three months. We decided on the door style & called that we were ready to go ahead with the job, Alex came to our home, My husband welcomed him into our home, offered him coffee. Alex remarked , "This kitchen is large. " I came into the kitchen. & introduced myself. Alex was busy measuring. He brought up an issue about the cabinet molding. He disagreed with what we wanted. Inatead of discussing the issues with us & showing us the pros and cons, & helping us to come up with a solution, he said, "I'm not doing the job. I don't want to do it. You"re not going to be happy. I'm leaving. We asked him to please give us an explanation. He just walked out the door. He gave up a over $17,000. We were ready to write the check for 1/3 of the job & he walked out on us. My husband said that he had an attitude when he walked into the house. I called Dan, told him what happened. He said he would get back to me & he did, which I appreciate. It Alex refuses to do the job with absolutely no explanation.

It was on time and on budget. We liked the end product.

I met Dan on the initial meeting. He was very professional, and answered all the questions I had. He really owned the business, and made me feel confident that the job will go well. Alex (the owner) was the one doing all kitchen remodeling. He was very professional as well. Alex arrived each day at the time he was supposed to come, and worked hard throughout the day. He did the maximum each day, and finished the whole project the day he was supposed to finish. At the end of the workday Alex would leave the kitchen clean, and we were able to use it until the next morning. My boyfriend and I felt confident with Alex's work and his work ethic, and had no doubts the result will be great. The upgraded kitchen looks amazing! This was the easiest and smoothest project from the beginning to the end. We didn't have a single thing to worry about as Alex delivered what he promised. I would hire Alex again without a doubt, and I would recommend him to anyone. I'm including before and after photos. White kitchen is the ungraded one.

Alex did a masterful job upgrading our tired old space-deprived kitchen cabinets and counters. He refaced our existing cabinets and seamlessly installed new ones alongside to extend their reach from 2 to 3 walls. The new wood veneer looks beautiful. Alex handled the planning and implementation with care and attention to detail, and accommodated special case tasks including a trap door for an under-cabinet kickspace heater, lazy susan, and pull-out cabinet for recycling/trash. We were amazed how fast he worked, finishing everything in less than one week. Alex recommended Rosie's Marble and Granite who provided beautiful granite counters.

We spent a great deal of time looking for a company to update our kitchen cabinets, without cleaning out our bank account. Alex was great. He gave us an option that would reface the cabinets, and replace the cabinet doors, and drawer fronts. He also added new cabinets over the sink, and refrigerator, new kick plates, hardware and crown molding. He arrived on time, didn't leave a mess, and was done in less than 2 days. Couldn't be happier.

This was a very positive experience from start to end. Dan responded by email same day to my web inquiry even though he was on vacation, and he came out to measure within a couple days and provided an estimate right on site. He was very personable and helpful in guiding us in our decision making. We didn't bother with getting any more estimates. Alex, both the business owner and craftsman, came out within a matter of only a few days after we gave Dan the go-ahead for final measurements and decisions. He was able to give us specific installation dates right on the spot. Alex showed up promptly for the three days of the project and completed everything according to plan. His work is very meticulous and of high quality, and personally he is friendly and professional - a pleasure to work with!. The counter and cabinets look great! If I ever need another kitchen updated I would definitely hire Alex and his Ideal Home Improvement business.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen and can't say enough about the quality of Alex's work. He is a true professional. He was pleasant to deal with in every way, was punctual, cleaned up at the end of each day, finished when he said he would, and did fantastic work. Our refaced cabinets look better than when they were new and the new cabinets are beautiful. We worked with Alex on designs for the new cabinets and he delivered exactly what we hoped for (including a very nice wine rack). The most incredible thing is he did all this for about half the price of some other estimates we received. The only drawback was Alex is in such high demand that we had to wait a couple of months to get the work done, but it was most certainly worth the wait. We would not hesitate to hire Alex again and highly recommend him.

Couldn't have been better. Alex was prompt and professional and did beautiful work. He was always on time. He explained options without any hard sell tactics. He obviously takes pride in his work. My cabinets look beautiful.

Alex did a great job! My kitchen is completely transformed at a very reasonable price. My dated oak cabinets are now redone in antique white paint-grade maple and you'd never know they were only refaced. The granite was installed by Rosy's and I get many compliments on its beauty. Alex arrived on time each day at 8 am and left between 3-4 pm after cleaning up the work area. It only took five days. He was very helpful in suggesting ideas and making sure everything was to my liking and satisfaction. His attention to detail made all the difference in the final product. He built out a peninsula and added new cabinet space and decorative shelving. He also installed reachable cabinets over the refrigerator, added picture frame detail to the end panel of the refrigerator surround, installed decorative pieces between cabinets where needed, reused the glass from the old doors, converted a wine rack into additional cabinet space, and installed crown molding on all cabinets. Alex was also flexible when I made a design change during the process to convert three shelf type cabinets into deep double drawers. He ordered the necessary material and came back a month later to finish everything up. I am completely satisfied and my traditional style kitchen looks fashionably fantastic. I would not hesitate a moment to recommend Alex to others. In fact, I hope one day to have him back to do some work on my bathrooms.

It was nice that we got to meet Alex before he came and did the cabinets and we're surprised he was the one that was going to do all the work. He did an amazing job with our cabinets. They look brand new! We had lots of questions, and he was always prompt and courteous with responses. We also had other contractors coming in to do work in the kitchen at the same time and he was very accommodating by working around them. He also helped them out a few times by giving them a hand or lending them tools they needed. I would highly recommend them for any cabinet work!

He and crews for counter tops and plumbing were on site working at the agreed upon days and times and finished the three (3) bathrooms and cabinets on time. Cost: The final cost of the refacing of cabinets and installation of counter tops was the exact amount of quote. Final Result: Alex finished on time in December, 2014 and I have received many complements on the transformation of the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The sales rep came to the house twice and entertained multiple communications by phone and email to answer our questions. The quality of the job was really excellent--a perfect job from beginning to end. They started and completed the job as planned, the price was right, they cleaned up and were tidy all the time, easy to schedule and flexible. You will NOT go wrong with this small local outfit.

Alex has been doing this for 15 years and can handle any situation. Extremely professional and prompt Alex coordinated the countertop installation in conjunction with refacing the cabinets. Our kitchen was complete in just under 3 days. We could not be happier with how the job went. Cabinets, trim and counter tops look fantastic!

Alex and his team did an incredible job updating my very dated kitchen and making it look fresh and new. All work was done on time. Costs were precise to the estimate. He and his team were friendly, even dealing with my three dogs interfering in their workspace periodically. I would recommend Ideal Home Improvement to anyone looking to resurface. It's a fraction of the cost of a full cabinet replacement. Alex is an expert at his job and my kitchen gets many compliments!

My husband and I couldn't have hoped for a better experience! Alex, the owner, began the kitchen on Monday as scheduled and completed the project in 4 days as was estimated. He arrived promptly every morning and cleaned up each afternoon. The granite counter tops were installed in a day and came out beautifully as did the cabinets. The cost that we were quoted is what we paid. Alex does great work and we are very happy with our new kitchen! I would use Ideal Home Improvement again and recommend them to Family and Friends.

Their price was average compared to others. I closely worked with the owner, Alex. He answered my phone calls very promptly and kept me up to date on when things would be done. They completed the job in the projected amount of time and cleaned up well. The work turned out very well!

I was so nervous about the refacing thing, thought it would look cheap and people would be able to tell the cabinets were refaced. This is definitely not the case at all. The cabinets look amazing! Alex is super great to deal with. My contractor was so shocked at how fantastic everything looked, he even took Alex's card to use for future clients. Alex gives great ideas and really knows what he is doing. His suggestions made the kitchen look over the top gorgeous. I can't believe this is the same kitchen.

Ended up not having any work done by Ideal Home Improvements at this time. I will contact them when I am ready to reface the cabinets.

They did an excellent job and matched the wood tone on your refrigerator paneling. He found door knobs in a brushed nickel that matched the door front to our dishwasher perfectly. The quality of work was very good and we was very conscientious and polite. The cabinets are just beautiful.
