I am extremely happy with the painting and carpentry work done by D&S. The workers came every day and worked long hours to get the job done. Not only did they do a great job but they were pleasant and courteous as well. I would not hesitate to hire them to do additional work for me and I have already referred D&S to others.

Exceptional Craftsmanship and Professionalism! We recently had the pleasure of working with Sanfer an his team. From start to finish they exceeded our expectations. He and his team were highly skilled, experienced and detail oriented. Making the entire process smooth and stress free. Sanfer maintained communication step by step throughout construction, providing updates and promptly addressing any questions we had. I also greatly appreciated the fact that his team also cleaned up our yard at the end of every day. Overall we can't say enough. We would definitely recommend and rehire for future projects.

Very pleased with the work performed to renovate several rooms. Sanfer and his staff were very accommodating and worked to provide a very specific style of architectural trimwork that I had wanted in the finished product. The team at D&S was easy to work with, responsive, attentive to specific details requested, and turned out a high quality of work overall. They also cleaned up any debris each night before leaving the house, and left the house in great shape upon project completion. The contractors they hired for plaster work and wallpaper were professional, neat, and turned out high quality work as well.

We needed to renovate the third floor of our house, which was originally one open high-ceiling space used as a den, family room, and home office. Our goal was to maintain the open space concept while creating two separate offices, a small library room, a family room, and a bedroom. While it might sound challenging, thanks to D&S Partners Construction Inc., it turned out even better than expected. The tasks involved installing a hardwood floor, adding a wall with a door and closet for the bedroom with high-raised bookshelves facing the family room, creating two office spaces in two of the three dormers, and converting the third dormer into a library with a French door. To maintain an open feeling, we used glass (from Boston Glass) to separate the offices from the main room, providing excellent sound isolation. Between the family room and the bedroom, we had a retractable wall installed, which was manufactured and delivered by Tudelu, allowing the two rooms to function as one open space or be separated and sound-isolated when the bedroom is in use. The retractable wall was running between the newly installed wall with closets and bookshelves and a big arch window we wanted to preserve. Only two windows had to be replaced with slightly narrower ones to accommodate the flame for the Tudelu wall. My wife and I came up with the whole concept, but DS provided excellent advice at every step of the project, and several adjustments were made. Additionally, there was significant electrical work, AC tube replacement, and painting throughout the entire floor. We had an amazing experience with Sanfer, his son Matt, and the entire crew, that yielded fabulous results. They were incredibly professional throughout the project. Sanfer responded right away after listing our needs, explaining all the steps and costs upfront, with no hidden surprises. The work began promptly, within a week of signing the contract, and was completed exactly as expected. The main work took two months with no delays. As anticipated, the glass walls and doors were installed a month later, followed by the retractable wall from Tudelu two months after that. We couldn't use the floor only for two months. The glass and the retractable wall installations which were completed later on upon their delivery didn’t disrupt our work at all. This was perfectly well organized and managed by D&S. We were impressed by the friendly, understanding, and highly professional nature of the team. Their work ethic was exceptional, and their quality was outstanding, demonstrating a commitment to perfectionism. Sanfer ensured that every detail was perfect, no matter how small. They are unbelievably clean and organized. We selected him from several contractors we met with, and he stood out for his deep understanding of our needs and immediate professional advice. We expected a great job, but his work exceeded our wildest expectations. I don’t look for any other contractor anymore when it comes to home renovation. We have something in mind for the first floor/basement, so if we decide to do it, it will be his project for sure. I cannot imagine anything better than D&S.

D&S Partners Construction did a very good job. We are very happy with the results. The best part is that we could talk with the owner and he was very informative, knowledgeable and listened to us and what we wanted in flooring, railings, windows etc. and made very valuable recommendations. We would hire them again.

Excellent! We hired Sanfer and his team after meeting with him a few times and checking references. We really liked his can-do attitude and flexibility. He was easy to talk to and had some design ideas that we chose over the architects. He is a strong builder, meaning he doesnt skimp on making it well made. That was important to me. He has a really great finish carpenter too. Shout out to Edgard! Our remodel was a 4 room, bathroom, 2 floor addition (now a walk out basement/first floor) to accommodate an inlaw apt on the ground floor and office and living room on the first. We also had a small elevator added between the two floors. The pricing was right down the middle compared to others. The elevator installers remarked that the hoistway was the best built they had worked with, which was important since it needed to be within a quarter inch of plumb at any point. We used Sanfer for other smaller add ons and would hire them again for a large or smaller job.

Sanfer and subs did a great job on our house addition. Added a basement in law apt. Dug out and dug down. Family room, office above. Left a previous review but forgot to include electrical in the services. Thought Sanfer and subs did a nice job helping with decision making and installation. He had thoughtful suggestions that were experienced based. Appreciated that. Very pleased with outcome.

New electrical and plumbing work was done in an old house to install new laundry appliances on a second floor. The job was complex and D&S Partners did an excellent job of planning, installation, and finishing work. They also did an excellent job of replacing a rear deck that fit well with the style of the house.

They were hired to replace some siding on the side of our house and repair the baseboards/shelving in our sunroom. They did an amazing job and even added in painting the room on top of what they were already doing.

D&S was great! They did a great job getting my basement looking great again, and took a lot of care to make everything look really nice. I was very pleased with their work. They are extremely responsive, too; they got me an estimate in a very timely manner, answered questions quickly, and were generally pleasant to work with. I'd definitely hire them again.

We did a complete gut and rehab of our kitchen and back porch. It was a big job involving structural changes, electric work and all new plumbing in the house. The team was professional, polite, cleaned up after themselves, and communicated well what was going on. The quality of work was very nice, new woodwork trim to match existing windows and trim in the house, electric changes, there was so much to do. It turned out great, I am very happy with the results, and would hire them again.

We are very happy with Sanfer and his crew. This was our first major remodel and we were prepared for the worst. After meeting several contractors, we chose Sanfer because he came in with a lot of great ideas and instilled a confidence that other did not. He was very honest about managing expectations and also keeping us updated about delays (2020/21 has been extremely busy for contractors). The previous owners had done a lot of bad DIY but Sanfer assured me it was nothing they couldn’t handle and eased my anxiety. Everyone on the crew was very nice and respectful and the communication was top notch. Sanfer always responds to texts and emails in a timely manner and you will not find any “lazy” people on these team! They will do whatever to get the job done. I have received so many compliments on my bathroom and I’ve literally gone from bathroom **** to bathroom heaven! We are planning to do our kitchen next and wouldn’t want to work with anyone else!

When we started looking for a contractor on Angie's List, we were skeptical that we could find someone who could do three things: being within our budget, easy to communicate with and making sure that the final product was of high quality. We had a big project (renovating two bathrooms, renovating a kitchen, taking down a wall, removing wood paneling from multiple rooms, remodeling our basement, including removing asbestos tile from the whole basement, whole house interior painting, remodeling the laundry room, installing new light fixtures everywhere, etc) and Sanfer ended up being the perfect contractor for us. He was so easy to get in touch with and he did a great job keeping us updated on the project as it was coming along (we weren't living there at the time). While the project ended up going over the original budget we set, we also added multiple projects along the way that Sanfer was able to accomplish. The other thing we truly appreciated is that Sanfer has a true eye for quality and was able to ensure everything was exactly to our standards -- the tiling, the painting, even the installation of our new doorknobs. He even brought certain things up to us to help make the home more secure and prevent future damage (putting up stronger supports under our deck, fixing the flashing around the chimney) that he didn't need to do. When a few things needed to be fixed after the renovations were complete, he wasted no time in sending someone out to do the repair. Sanfer was so nice, honest, and enjoyable to work with, things we were not expecting to find in our general contractor but which made the whole renovation experience that much more positive. We would absolutely recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy contractor who will do a high-quality job for a fairly reasonable price.

Interior built-in bookcases Sanfer and his team were incredible to work with. He solved every design challenge with me on the back of a napkin then executed beautifully! He used the materials and finish that I specified with great attention to detail. He was a delight to work with and I would definitely hire him again. I might go looking around my house to see what else I could have him come back and do. Sanfer also finished on budget and on time. He is terrific.

Sanfer was great to work with. Always responds right away to any questions. Price was fair and everything looks great. I got several other quotes Before going with D & S. The other companies on Angies a list were over charging because they only want the big jobs. Would hire again.

Sanfer was the general contractor and worked on the project diligently. He was very responsive throughout the project. Painting and plastering was outsourced to a sub contractor. However, Sanfer’s crew worked on remodeling the kitchen and bathroom. There were some delays as we made changes in scope of the work. Overall, I was happy with their work.

Looking forward to having D&S back for our next project! Sanfer and the crew were conscientious, flexible and tidy. Took our bathroom down to studs for a total makeover. External patching and painting of the siding, to accommodate the resized window, is seamless. Converting the bathroom door to a pocket door really opened up the space in our small family bathroom. Ultimately decided to have Sanfer expertly update the remaining doors on the same floor - replaced all door panels and installed new hardware. Looks fantastic! No surprises regarding cost - good communication, transparent, great value.

Excellent , I had him do several jobs!

These contractors were excellent and renovated 3/4 of our house. They buffered our wood floor and made it look brand new, they remodeled our bathroom and made it look like a Hollywood dressing room, they renovated our cielings, and our basement floors. Additionally, they repainted our porch, our walls in our study and our kitchen. Furthermore, the lead contractor and owner is a **** good carpenter and built new cherry cabinets that perfectly matched the existing ones, they also installed a quartz slab for the counter, as well as a swivel television and new wood floors in the basement. All in all these men did a fantastic job and we couldn’t have sold our house without them. If you’re renovating your house, this company is whom you want to do it. Their work ethic is unaparalled and their personalities are fantastic as well.

Loved the entire process. Sanfer and his crew were professional, quick, did excellent work and clean! Even when we hit a few snags, he was able to think quickly and give different options in order to continue. He was great about helping with my 'vision' which I greatly appreciated. Also gave excellent advice and showed pictures of what he recommended without pushing any product or design on us. This was our first renovation, so we did not think of all the tiny details that really finish a bathroom but he was there helping us along the way. Our finished basement had a powder room with a washer/dryer unit located in it. We moved those appliances out to make space for a full shower. D&S did all the plumping, tiling and electrical work and we love the finished product. We get many compliments on the work and this has become our favorite bathroom.
