I never ended up using him. If he couldnt at least keep the appointment to discuss and bid on my job, how am I to expect that he would show up and follow through with the job. Thank you, Dracut
Description of Work: Reached out to Ron and he changed the appointment several times. On the last attemtp for me to have an appointment, he missed the appointment. he did call later and said that he could still make the appointment. On the first appointment date I had to call and remind him that he made an appointment. He told me he didnt remember.

as stated above, the job got done.overall it was a very unpleasant experience, one that will take me some time to forget
Description of Work: I had a large area of interior painting done,I hired Ron Coulliard. I will give an abbreviated review. What he said would take 2 days took 5. Showed up EVERY day 1-2 hrs late. Seemed to have a difficult time staying focused and on task. Any painting he did was messy, did not tape off any doorcasings or trim, got paint on everything, rug ,doorknobs, tub, bathroom floor tile.Touched up ceiling with woodwork paint. Spent extended times in his truck, seemingly cleaning it, one day he actually had someone come to help and spent I would estimate 4hrs cleaning his truck and left his trash in my garage! When he was in the middle of the job,I asked him if he could move things along, his response was "maybe I should pack up my things and leave." It was not the only inappropiate comment he made.the job did get finished thanks to two young men he had help him. I had to buy more ceiling paint because I found out after the job was done that he spilled some, and more color paint because he put the wrong cover on and the colors mixed. After I paid him I noticed quite a few areas that needed to be fixed,I paid someone else to do that work, I certainly didn't want him back in my house

It was a very small job and Ron Couillard quoted us $350 for the job. His work was good but he gave us another bill for $273 that he called extras, which was to move the washer and dryer out and then back inside after the job was done. He charged us for screwing back the electrical boxes that had to be removed to drywall. He said he had to put two coats of paint on the drywall and I think one always have to put two coats of paint on the drywall and he charged some more for that which I thought was ridiculous. It was a whole list of ridiculous things that he did and he charged us extra for those, like cleaning up the mud off the floor when he was done. The last day he decided to paint the inside of one window sill, that he never mentioned anything about and he also charged us to paint an area of about 12x18 inches, that he noticed in the bathroom, that he threw some skim coat on. We didn’t ask him to do those, he didn’t tell us or ask us anything about it, and he just went ahead and did it. I honestly think that he had mud on his thing that he had to get rid off so he threw it on the wall and he said he did that for us. He came up with a list of things that was so expensive, that we had to pay for. The original quote was $350 but he charged us $273 for stupid things like moving the appliances back in its original place and stuff like that, that I consider is part of the job. He told us initially that it was a one-day job, but he ended up being here for five days. He showed up 11.30 at one day when he was supposed to be here at 8.30, he showed up at noon the next day instead of 8.30, which was ridiculous. After the job was done, he was saying that he spent more time here than he was supposed to. My boyfriend wanted to pay him an extra $100 and wanted to get rid of him, so he did. He paid him the extra $100, and that is it but he really didn’t need to pay him that. Ron was very upset that he wasn’t given $273, he left and then he came back a couple of days ago and left a note on our car that he paid $23 for a 2x4 and that he will be back for that. The total ended up being $450 and then he sent another bill for $23 and he was threatening to collect it from us. I didn’t want him back so we gave him the $23. The original price was good, but after everything was done, it was outrageous. He actually did a good job though. He responded right away whenever we contacted him.
Description of Work: I used Couillard Drywall for replacing some sheet rocking and painting.

He did some drywall work and painting. I was not satisfied with the work he did. I thought he was very unprofessional. He asked my wife to pay him in cash when I was not at home. The work was shoddy. I can see the seams in the drywall. He did not tape off when he painted so there is paint on the stairwell and barrister.
Description of Work: Ron Couillard Ceilings & Drywall did some work for us about 2 months ago.

It could not have gone more smoothly. Ron arrived when he was scheduled and within a few hours, the holes were gone (sheet rocked and plastered). The next day, the work was sanded and we were ready to prime and paint. We will most certainly hire Ron again if we need work in this category.
Description of Work: Having just moved, we found ourselves badly needing to remodel our kitchen. There were three (3) existing 'industrial size' (about 2x5 feet each) fluorescent fixtures in the ceiling, which we had removed by our electrician. Of course, this left us with three gaping holes in our ceiling! We received 3 quotes from different contractors; Ron's was not only the best price, but he also engendered a great deal of confidence in us during our first meeting. Another contractor indicated it would cost about the same to replace the entire ceiling as to repair it. Not so!! Ron sheet rocked and plastered our gaping holes (and also did a little repair work on the walls without even being asked) in less than a day and returned the next morning to sand (without making much of a mess at all). The ceiling was then primed and painted by us, after which we had recessed lighting installed. Never, never would you even guess that those ugly fluorescence were in the kitchen ceiling.
