+ -1 moreBill was hired to enclose an existing deck and make a sunroom out of it and then add new deck off that area. At first everything seemed fine until the windows leaked and ruined a new couch that was bought for the sunroom. Bill came out and caulked the window. No more leaks from there. A few years later the roof began to leak to the point where I have another contractor fixing all his mistakes. Siding not cut and framed to house properly. No flashing around deck resulting in rotted sill. The list goes on. Thousands of dollars to fix his mistakes. I could go on but I won’t. Steer clear!
Description of Work: Enclosing an existing deck. Adding new deck off that addition.

+ -1 moreHe was great. The first day he got half way through our list. I needed to make sure that II prioritized everything for both of us since I can say that needs to get done and that needs to be done and he was willing to change gears but I didn't always mean for him too. He is extremely responsive. I am planning on having him back once we get to the next 2-3 projects and the millions of more that I can think of in my house. Great person to have. Extremely professional, very nice and amazing to deal with.
Description of Work: Bill Mayer he helped complete a kitchen project that was abandoned by another contractor. He is a jack of all trades. He painted, a little carpentry, tile work and put in thresholds.

handyman service, doors
+ 0 moreHe installed the door and everything seemed fine at the time. About a month after the installation we began to hear noise from the traffic and were feelings a breeze from the outside. We contacted them to come back out and look at the door. He attempted to fix the door but the issue was not resolved. He blamed the problems we were experiencing on my house's foundation settling. After not being able to fix the problem I contacted the manufacturer to look at the door. The manufacturer came out to look at my door and was able to fix the door, and since then the door as been working just fine. The manufacturer was able to point out steps he did not do while installing the door. He was a nice guy but the quality of his work was not good.
Description of Work: We had him out to install an exterior door.

Description of Work: He has done VERY many different jobs around here and everything has been excellent, from fixing a downspout to a complete bathroom make-over.. I can't say enough good about him. He'll be there when he says he'll be there. Very good contractor.

+ -1 moreTheir service is wonderful. Their price is reasonable. The quality of their work is good. They go above and beyond to make sure things are right. You couldn?t get anyone better than them. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Mayer Remodeling to get the cement work done outside and the decks. They did the cementing job couple of weeks ago and the deck job a year ago.
