We searched online and found AK General Services. Andre and the team built us a beautiful, sturdy, natural wood structure that provides everything we could ask. "We hired this company. I don't mind paying but when they missed so many areas. It's very frustrating and I have to finish the job myself. Anthony promised a great job and so didn't Nicole. I sure didn't even get a good job. The hand railings are super rough, and where the pressure washer chewed up the wood it was never fixed. It was definitely a hack job. I was promised over the phone a walk through at the end. It never happened. Couldn't communicate with the workers. I couldn't understand them. Definitely the pictures that they posted on other jobs don't match what I paid for. A very disappointing experience with this company. I would shop around.. plus I included Anthony in the last few emails and he couldn't even respond back. Awful !!! The handrails was addressed in after the power washing. The owner needs to go back and see the truth. I have the email saved!!!! Give me your email and I would be gladly to send it you!! You shouldn't be sparky when your team hacked my deck. I will be re-doing myself. Such a joke of a company."

Our services include: New construction, general contracting, additions kitchens, bathrooms, basements, built-in cabinetry, raised ceilings and cathedral ceilings, second story additions, entertainment center build and design, surround-sound, windows replacement old and new, roofing, dormers, all general carpentry. He did much of the work himself, but also pulled in a designer, a plumber and an electrician to assist along the way. He provided us a good vision of the project and guided us through the whole process with lots of good suggestions on style and material choice (e.g. maintenance-free deck boards and energy-efficient windows). Good communication overall and the final product turned out nicely. Ken is diligent, trustworthy, and displays good craftsmanship. The project did take a little longer than expected, but quality was a higher priority for us. Would definitely hire again. "
