AARI Affordable Appliance Repair

I want to make one thing clear. Jose did not work on my appliance and I cannot speak on behalf of his technician skills. I am making a remark on his professionalism which was extremely poor. The first appointment was cancelled due to him being more than 30 minutes late and for no communication on his behalf thereof. For the second (and last) appointment I called him 30 minutes after the scheduled time and he said he would be at my location in 20-30 minutes, however, it took him a total of an hour and a half from the scheduled time to get here. During the wait, I gave him a second call and it turned out he was on my door step and over the phone he rudely demanded, "Open your door." This is not how a professional greets someone, especially after being late twice, and for not bothering to reach out to remedy the situation both before and after the confrontation. I'm sure you can imagine that anybody at this point would be agitated, with having their time wasted and being rudely spoken to, and so our interaction did not go well and he left because I confronted him and called him out on his behavior and his lack of professionalism.

We had a broken dishwasher and a house full of guests a few days before Christmas. No one was returning my calls (or in the case of one highly rated Angie's List provider, even letting me leave a message!) I was directed to Jose through a complicated series of recommendations starting with our plumber. He called me back immediately, arrived two hours after I called, fixed the problem (a bad connection/circuit board type issue), and we have a working dishwasher!

Did not have the correct part. Ordered the needed part and returned to install it. Clearly had issues with this! Eventually declared that it was fixed and left a hefty bill. Worked for all of 2 days! Called back to have them come out and fix it. However, calls were never answered and messages never returned. Got other company out, and they could not believe the "work" that was done; incorrect, unprofessional and outright dangerous. Do not use these guys and for sure do not use Jose Brandao!

Jose is very professional and was extremely respectful in my home. Also he was knowledgeable in his field and informed me he couldn’t fix the wine cooler as it needed a widget they did not have on hand. He did some research for me and found that they actually don’t make that part I need in the states.
