+ -1 moreWe had a project to clean up our yard from weeds, brush, and dead trees and make it look nice. At first, we were a bit hesitant to hire Wally because of his low online presence - no website, no Google reviews. However, he gave us a very professional explanation what should be done, and named a very reasonable price, so we hired him. Wally and his team did an excellent job. They cleaned up the yard perfectly, killed all the weeds, made nice edging, and spread the mulch. In addition, they took care of our lawn and flower beds (for free!), which was not even included in the contract. We are very satisfied with the job Wally has done for us and would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Clean up weeds, brush, poison ivy from a ~3000 sf area, remove dead trees, and cover the entire area with mulch.

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with Wally's responsiveness to my project. He was prompt in reaching out to. He explained what his approach would be to troubleshoot a potential issue with a drywell. He found the problem and purchased the materials to fix it. His clean-up was superb.
Description of Work: We recently had an issue with water in our basement and suspected that there may be an issue with a downspout that was connected to a drywell. We wanted a professional to determine if in fact that was the case. Wally dug a small trench by hand and discovered that the drain pipe to the drywell had been inadvertently cut when a generator was installed by a boring machine used to install a gas line. The pipe eventually silted up at the damaged area so that water from the downspout pooled in this area and eventually infiltrated our basement. Wally went and purchased the parts to correct the problem and left the woksite in tip top shape.

He was thorough in his walkthrough of the yard with us, gave us a clear idea of the work that needed to be done, and was open and honest with us when delivering a quote. After we accepted, he walked us through it all again and checked in frequently to ensure the job was progressing as we hoped. Our yard is completely transformed - they did an excellent job, and Wally was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be using Wally again for a variety of projects, and I recommend that you do the same.
