Overall, the job done was good. Price quote I got for follow up painting was too high, so I opted to not hire for completing the second bathroom. Responsiveness was great, and Fitzroy even offered to come on a Sunday.

He showed up in a clean truck. You could eat off the floor of his truck and everything was put away neatly . His work is just like that. I highly recommend him. Worth every penny. I gave him and his helper a $50 tip each I was so impressed and I've been in the trades for 40 years and I have years of supervision over skilled workmen.

Fitzroy Jarret and his crew from New Reveal did an outstanding job remodeling our dated bathroom at our Cape Cod summer cottage. We had used Fitzroy before for some restoration carpentry and painting, so we knew the quality of his work, but not the extent of his talent. He came to the cottage and reviewed the project – offering some excellent suggestions. My husband had actually intended to do the bathroom remodel and had begun the demo in January. Unfortunately in February, he had a freak accident (struck by an oak tree limb during a snowstorm) and suffered a broken neck (6 months later, he is still receiving physical therapy). It was late April when we engaged Fitzroy. His schedule was busy, but he promised he would help us out as well as meet our tight schedule requirements - we had vacation renters arriving in June. I have to mention that during this project, Fitzroy became a first-time father and even with disrupted sleep and a busy and demanding schedule, New Reveal was able to stay on schedule. The end result is a stunning bathroom – outshines the rest of the cottage (will have to hire New Reveal to continue on our “To-Do List”). The bathroom walls were stripped to the studs – then new drywall, beadboard and ceramic tub surround were installed. The trim work and molding was exceptional – a custom job. A new vanity, sink, and faucet were installed after custom some tweaking by New Reveal to fit the space. Everything came out great – and with rave reviews from my neighbors who came to see the new bathroom. I recommend Fitzroy Jarret and New Reveal without any hesitation – he is very professional, knowledgeable, talented and above all respectful, honest and easy to deal with. New Reveal already completed a small project for one of our neighbors. They were grateful for the referral and joined us in being very satisfied customers.

Wanted High Gloss paint, so needed to do Primer first, but managed to get one coat of paint on as well.

My highest recommendation. Fitzroy is one of those rare contractors you are lucky to come across that is far above the rest. Very professional, courteous, competent, and clean. Here is my story; I had my roof replaced and the roofer botched the job badly. He had left half the roof exposed for two days during a period of rain. When I entered the house (a vacation home) there was water everywhere. The bedroom ceiling had collapsed, all insulation was wet, mattress wet, clothes soaked, etc. I then made contact with Fitzroy (who had nothing to do with the roof). He came that night with a helper to remove all the wet insulation to prevent further damage. This was greatly appreciated as he worked late into the night despite the fact he had to leave at 6am for New York. He also set up fans to start drying the attic area. Over the next few weeks he replaced the ceilings, installed new insulation, painted a damaged room, and fixed a porch ceiling because the roofer had used nails too long. He was also impressive in that he did everything above and beyond. For example, taking the extra time to spray the ceiling area to prevent mold growth. His work is the highest quality and my home is back to normal. In fact, some parts, such as the porch ceiling, are better than before. Thank you Fitzroy!

I went with Fitzroy mostly due to the good reviews on Angie's list. He did not disappoint and in fact went out of his way to do more than originally discussed. The decks are only two years old but I had a previous contractor protect the decking but he did an awful job and it all had to be redone. Fitzroy was very reasonable about the cost for the additional work and took great pride in doing a good job. The decks look great and shouldn't need any care for quite a while. In fact, he's come back to the house twice to review the work after the stain dried. That is very rare!! In the spring I will have him come back and power wash cedar siding and then eventually stain/seal.

I had a roof replaced in the Spring by another contractor. All was fine except a skylight which leaked. The contractor spent weeks trying to find the problem with no success. The contractor called in Fitzroy to try and find the leak, as well as repair the water damage to the ceiling and wall. Fitzroy was methodical and thorough. He investigated and ruled out various possibilities for the leak. He eventually found a tiny nail hole in the skylight flashing which others had not found. He left for some special sealant and returned to finish the job. He painted the interior damage with primer and blended in the paint so that I could not tell there had been a problem. Fitzroy was pleasant, punctual, and spotless. I would highly recommend Fitzroy Jarrett and New Reveal

Fitzroy was a joy to deal with he was called over to my house by my roofer on an emergency cal to fix my damaged ceiling due to a leaky roof. He cut out the damaged section on Thurs the 15 of October let dry out on Friday and came back on the weekend(I work during week) to finish the job he did an AMAZING job,my ceiling looks better than before the leak. Fitzroy was VERY professional ,he said he'd be at my house at 10 am and sure enough he was.He worked very clean and is very detailed oriented I was so impressed by him I've got about 10 other things lined up for him to do over this winter and into next summer Thx again for all your help Fitzroy!!!!!

Met Fitzroy on Saturday, he worked Saturday and all day Sunday to finish the job. He also painted my front door and and has said he will paint the other areas and powerwash before the season is over. Does what he says and has been responsive for meetings and times to get the job done.
