Description of Work: We needed a new garden shed a few years ago, and we selected a Lamore Lumber garden shed from a home show display. When Lamore came to install the shed (it is located in a very wet area of our yard) they advised that the shed would not stay dry and level without being placed on sonitubes (spelling?), four concrete tubs inserted into the ground to raise the shed off the surface), which we accepted. The original shed construction was completely satisfactory. However, after some time (I cannot give a completely accurate account of the dates involved, as I did not keep a record of the original construction or the date when we noticed this) one of the sonitubes came out of the ground, and the shed has subsequently been leaning into the ground on the displaced sonitube. I started calling Lamore Lumber last fall (2010) to see whether they could somehow fix the situation so that the shed would be dry and level. I was called back and the conversation revolved around the idea that the repairman would come to look at my shed after something happened with another permit process in Amherst. He never came, or at least I never heard from him. So I started calling again this spring to inquire as to what was happening. I was told that my project was at the top of the "repair" list, and that I would soon be getting a call from the repairman. It has never come. Thus, although I think Lamore construction is fine, I would report that there is little responsiveness if you call about a needed repair for one of their jobs. I have given up. I have now contracted with someone else who has a plan to raise and level the shed that I hope will work.
