Willard is by far the best choice I have made during my ongoing home renovation saga. They were prompt in coming to the house and making an estimate. The contract was well written and specific and covered everything down to the cost of replacement lumber. Lucky for me, they were able to begin 3 days after I agreed and they were on-site promptly at 8:00 AM. The crew was diligent and professional and they worked until the last rays of light to finish the house in one day! They managed this small wonder even though they encountered a hornet's nest while stripping my roof! The breezeway and garage was just as much of a job as the rest of the house, due to the extensive rot and water damage, but they powered through that in a day. I am very pleased with the final result and will keep them in mind for future renovations.

I hired Willard Co to replace my roof after another roofer replaced it incorrectly (causing all sorts of issues due to lack of proper ventilation). Mr. Parker and Dan Essary of Willard Co. were responsive to every question and concern that we had during the project. Their team of workers were head and shoulders above the other roofer we used. NOT ONCE, were they unavailable for a phone call. NOT ONCE, did they drop off the face of the earth for several days. I would recommend Willard Co. when you want the job done correctly and want to be treated professionally. I paid them a fair price and got exceptional workmanship.

The first assessment they actually taught me how to fix it myself and save any major costs. Unfortunately, my repair didn't work so they returned and gave me a better price than anyone else, completed it in record time and didn't add a penny to the estimate. A great company. Our roof is 3 floors up and has 5 gables so the job was extensive. The roof was $9,735. They did have to replace some ledger boards on the roof for an extra cost. We also had them replace the flat porch roof of our Juliet porch and replace the railings to code for $4,575. The roof looks wonderful and now we can finally use the Juliet porch. The crew was very professional and I would highly recommend Willard Co. to anyone. We are very pleased with the work done and do not have to worry about our roof any longer.

Willard was extremely responsible and professional, both in their presentation of what they would do, the products they would use , came in at a fair price (I had looked at several other companies), and executed their work in a timely fashion. They came when they said they would come, and completed the job in one day. Their clean- up afterward was perfect, and they did not use a dumpster, which I liked. They had their own trucks to haul the debris away. I dealt with James Stewart and Parker Willard, who were both responsive and cordial. There was one little bump in the road, while doing the roof, they tore a piece of my siding in the front of the house. When I e-mailed them, they came out that day to evaluate, and fixed it perfectly the next day. you would never know it happened.

The crew from the Willard Co. did an excellent job replacing our asphalt shingle roof. They completed the job in two days, working on Saturday into the pm because of a rain delay the previous day. The finished roof looks great. Outside clean up was tremendous, and they took extra care not to damage the many plants and shrubs we have surrounding the house.

We never got past the initial inspection stage.

When I called for a quote they were great. Mr. Willard came out himself. I was thinking I would need an entire new flat roof. He suggested that I start with a repair that would be 2% the cost of a new roof. A quote followed quickly. the follow up was very slow and it was difficult to get a question answered. Eventually they answered my question and sent a crew. I stayed home to see the start of the work and notice that they were not doing what Mr. Willard said they would so I sent them home. They came back another day, did what Mr. Willard said was needed and the patches worked great. Saved me many thousands of dollars. Overall it was a good experience but if I had not been home to watch the first day they would not have done what I was paying to get done.

i was very disappointed, given the great reviews on Angie' s List, that I did not get a callback after leaving three messages with their answering service, saying that I wanted an estimate on our roof replacement. We live in the same town, so I was particularly surprised.

We are extremely pleased with the new siding on our house. There were 2 small setbacks, but these were remedied immediately by Mr. Willard. In addition to removing the old siding, they replaced rotted wood and installed insulation over the old clapboards, They also installed new siding, a new storm door, new electrical fixtures for the entryway, a new gutter, new downspouts, and new shutters. They provided excellent advice when we were selecting decorative features for the front door, the front corners of the house, and molding near the roof line. They were very conscientious and precise in their work. The 2 setbacks were as follows: 1. the subcontractors who were removing the old siding did some damage to a few shrubs and were also very slow in completing their part of the work. Mr. Willard hired another set of subcontractors within a day and the new crew did an excellent job removing the rest of the siding as well as protecting the shrubs and cleaning up afterwards. 2. The trim around the front door, although white, did not match the shade of white on the siding, because they were produced by different manufacturers. Mr. Willard's crew painted the trim so that it matches the siding exactly and did a very meticulous job. In summary, we highly recommend this company. In addition to their recent work, they have completed several other projects for us in the past including shingling the roof, building a new chimney, and building a stone staircase at our front entry. Their craftsmenship has been excellent in all cases, and they have been responsive, professional, and pleasant to work with. We would definitely hire them again.

My only complaint is the lack of clear communication after we signed the contract over when the work would start and it seemed to be longer than I expected. Otherwise everything was very good. The job was done very well. I am very pleased with the results. The workers cleaned up every day.

My experience is very similar to many others here. Willard Co. proved to be a highly skilled, professional firm with obvious pride in doing first-class work. From the initial inspection and detailed quote provided by Mr. Willard himself, to the briefing he provided to his crew on-site on the morning of the job, to the final cleanup, their performance was exemplary. As an indication of the stability of this multi-generational firm, the crew chief on our job had been with the firm for over 12 years- this must be extraordinary in the roofing business. In short, we can recommend this firm without reservation.

We received three estimates for replacing our roof. Price-wise, they were all fairly comparable, but Willard Co provided the most information about their product, without being pushy. Based on this, as well as their previous reviews on Angies List, we decided to hire them. They called the day before, to schedule a time. While this was a little last-minute, I appreciated how they were able to fit us in so soon after hiring. The installers were skilled and did a good job. They came earlier in the morning than expected, and started working on the roof without checking in first. But otherwise, the communication was smooth. The cleanup was so thorough, you would never know they had been here. I was very happy with the whole process and the final result.

Parker Willard arrived when promised to assess job, sent estimate promptly. The work was also done promptly, although the company did not inform us what date and time they would do the work. Overall, however, we are very satisfied with the price, which seems like a good value and the qaulit of the work.

Williard co. was on time 8 A.M. was nice & quite, worked all day when finished clean up house outside in good condition.
