Description of Work: This was a water heater service call that turned into a replacement project and they were PHENOMINAL! I highly recommend Vaughn and they are my first call with any plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We had a kitchen faucet link due to faulty basket fit. This was replaced and so far, all's good. Besides quality of work, the plumber was very personable and we had a nice chat about Ireland and living in the US (he's Irish).

Description of Work: They installed a toilet seat bidet and fixed a running toilet. Also he attempted to fix a problem with my Franke Tri-Flow kitchen faucet.

Description of Work: Overall a good experience- Within 1 hour, Chris assessed and fixed a leak coming from shower that was missed by a plumber from Bob Lee's Plumbing and Heating. Also fixed a wobbly toilet seat (which was identified but not fixed by that plumber from Bob Lee, who charged us for 2.5 hours of 'service'). Only thing I thought was left incomplete was a problem with a tub fixture- he identified the problem, told me he was going to get the part within a few days and fix it; they ended up not finding the part and suggested I contact the tub manufacturer for the part.

Description of Work: Our radiator was leaking into the basement. We called them on a Sunday and they stopped the leak, but recommended that we wait until Monday to repair the valve because they charge time and a half on weekends. They were able to remove and replace the offending piece without any damage to our floors.

Description of Work: problem was a running toilet-replaced the rubber piece on the flush valve. initial cost:$242! |although they were very nice, cordial and accommdating, their price was redicoulously high. |I scheduled the appt. on line and where it asked what the problem wask I wrote what I thought it was the rubber piece on the flush valve-also provided the name and model# of the toilet. however, when they came, they said they didn't have that part. but that they would adjust the rubber piece??? this took all of 15 mins. and the charge was $96 and the problem was not fixed. I called to inform them of such. they did come back that same day with the part (rubber piece) and did fix the problem w/i 15-20 mins. but charged an additional $146 (their hourly rate). because I felt that this was unfair as the reason they had to come a 2nd time was because they did not fix the problem on the 1st visit and did charge me, I called the owner and told him this. he was very nice but told me that travel time was included in the price and so on and so on. I persisted and after a while, he agreed to refund the $96 charge. after waiting about 3 weeks and not receiving the refund, I called the office. shortly thereafter, I did receive the check.

Description of Work: bought the 1 hour deal for a basic inspection of my new condo. Showed up on time, was very personable and gave my condo a clean bill of health. Small price to pay for piece of mind. Would definitely use this service again.

Description of Work: Generally, It's not a great plan to tell an optimistic and eager customer who has been waiting to hear from you that you can only come 'if called in the next 10 minutes.' | |But this frustrating experience taught me an excellent lesson. It is very easy to install a sink and attach a faucet. Leakless, I am now thrilled that this plumber's communication was so bad. I'm really thankful that the other plumbers I have been in contact with through this adventure have had such an awful attitude too. If the sad aggravation of getting left in the lurch on this kitchen sink project hadn't occurred, I wouldn't have learned that I am capable of doing so much myself.
