Bruce was great to deal with. This was a time-sensitive job because of home insurer's requirement. He made specific effort to get the work done between other jobs to meet our timing needs. He came when he said he would, was professional, thorough and the finished product was of high quality. I was impressed enough that I have already scheduled him for additional work.

Bruce charges a fair price for the amount of work provided. He showed up exactly on time, every single time. He did exactly what he said he would do with no uncertainty or ambiguity. The work itself was exemplary - I cannot tell the ceiling ever had any damage at all - it looks new. He returns calls and emails promptly. In short, Bruce is a pleasure to work with and I would hire him again the next time I need handyman services.

It went really well. Bruce called me a couple of days in advance to make sure he has all the necessary tools and or parts. He was very professional and on time. Even though it was his first time installing electronics locks, he did a great job. I highly recommend him.

Bruce arrived promptly on the day he came to see the scope of my project as well as on the (2) days he came to do the actual work. He was incredibly thorough which I really appreciate as I like to have the work done correctly the first time. He was an excellent communicator and was very specific about the materials I needed to purchase for the job vs. what he would be providing. I needed some plumbing work done and Bruce admitted that he did not feel comfortable taking on that project and I respected his honesty. I would rather have someone tell me that they can't do something than do something that ultimately turns out badly. Bruce is terrific and I have every intention of working with him again!.

Very well. Bruce contacted me to schedule a time after I purchased the deal on Angie's List. We talked about my project, he asked detailed questions about the site and potential complications before confirming that the job could be completed in the time purchased. He asked for photos of the site and product to be installed in advance. He read the instructions and informed us if a step we skipped (we did not measure our cat's shoulder height). He texted to confirm our time the day before, and also when he was on his way. The job took longer than expected because the bolts provided by the manufacturer were the wrong length and had to be cut to size. Bruce did not charge us extra. Bruce did an excellent job ensuring a neat appearance of the finished installation. Spending a Saturday morning with visiting family rather than family drama over a cat door was priceless. We will definitely hire Bruce again.

From start to finish, Bruce at Thank You Handyman was a pleasure to work with. He returned my call same day and we scheduled a time for him to stop by for a formal estimate. After confirming and measuing what we needed to buy for the attic ladder, he offered, without us asking, that if we are able and want to help him during the installation, he could save us money as he wouldn't need to bring an assistant. As a homeowner, I was impreseed that he was open to us helping to reduce the cost. Thank You Handyman was flexible with our schedule, and allowed us to schedule the work to be done over a weekend, so we didn't have to take time off work. He called the day before to confirm the day and time for the installation to begin, and even though he was a few minutes late on the day, he called ahead to let us know. He was respective of our space and took every precaution to protect our floors, our walls, etc. He explained the process and mentioned when he would need help and did not mind when we asked questions (just for our own learning) as the work progressed. He provided an update as the work progressed of when he might be complete and ended up ending earlier than the original time provided. Thank You Handyman did a great job and we would absolutely hire Thank You Handyman again.

First off, Bruce came out to discuss what work needed to be done and how long it would take at no charge. After he left, he communicated back and forth with me as to the various mortise lock options and worked with me until I found the one I liked. I ordered it and had it shipped to my house. The day of the work, he showed up on time and got right to work. I have to say he really understands old doors and mortise locks because not only did he do an excellent job making the new one fit the door like a glove, but he made sure it worked to my liking. If you know anything about mortise locks, then you know what I mean. For the sunroom door, which he measured on his initial first visit to be short by 1 1/4 inches(The bottom of the door had a full coverage sweep with a void that big allowing it to reach the floor), he came prepared with a precut piece of wood. He installed it on the bottom of the door and then installed the new sweep. It looks & works great now and there are no more drafts. I would definitely recommend Bruce to others. FYI - I did end up keeping him an extra hour beyond the 2 hours because, well, I had him do some extra little stuff.

He also takes the time to explain what the job will entail as well as the time and cost involved, which was also reasonable. He was on time on both occasions and finished in a timely manner. Bruce was very good to work with. He asks questions and explains/demonstrates outcome of decisions so that the results of his work were very satisfactory. He also is clear about what he can and cannot do and will not accept projects for which he is not licensed or qualified.

Bruce came by and looked over what needed to be done, let me know what materials I needed and where to get them and set up an appointment for several days later. He must have been there for 45 minutes but that was not included in the time I was charged for. He arrived on time and got it all done in 2 hours. Additionally, he was not happy with my loose threshold on my deck door so fixed that on his way out the door even though he was already at the two hours we had agreed to. He was neat, there was no mess in my bedroom after he fixed the door. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is for those doors to slide effortlessly now.

Bruce is amazingly conscientious, professional, punctual, and helpful. He has great ideas and is willing to give advice even on jobs he won't be performing. The hinge and tub were simple jobs, but repairing the sliding door which had broken off in two places was a bit more challenging. Bruce is very ingenious and resourceful. He had it figured out and fixed in no time.
