The job(s) went fantastic, start to finish. Bruce was responsive to my call, came out to look at the issues within a few days, and left a written estimate that same day. Originally he had said he could do the work in mid-September, but he found some time on a weekend in early August. Bruce replaced the door assembly hardware, planed the bottom of the back door, repainted the areas that needed painting, and he pointed out a couple of other small issues related to a rear gutter and window sill that will need repair. Bruce was knowledgable, soft-spoken, and he worked diligently. We will have him back next month to repair the issues he pointed out to us. Yes, we will definitely hire Bruce again -- and we did! Note -- Angie's List has many companies listed under "Handymen," but only a few truly fit the bill. Many of the providers I called were only interested in large jobs or remodeling/reconstruction projects. Bruce is a true handyman, and is worth the wait for his services.

Bruce installed a new front door at my house and I could not be happier with the whole experience dealing with the Bruce. The door is perfect and I think of him every time I use it. I want to add that I had a bad experience with Lowes and am so glad I found Bruce. He came to the rescue. He is professional and explains every thing that will happen in the process and is simply a joy to work with. I will definitely be contacting him again for other home repair projects.

An attic window in our old house was no longer functioning, and, as an original window, appeared to need replacement. We received a number of very expensive estimates for replacement, but Bruce took a look and said, " I can fix that".....and he did.....beautifully. The price was excellent and we are so glad to have been able to restore an original window. We hope to hire Bruce again for miscellaneous jobs around our house and yard.

Bruce was able to build in a new door for our porch without any issues. He was responsive and the pricing was fair. When one of the hinges broke, he came back out and fixed it for no cost.

Bruce responded to my inquiry quickly and was able to come over and give me an estimate a couple of days later. Once I decided to hire him, he scheduled a day and time to come- he was on time and completed the job within a couple of hours. Because I was at work when he was at my home, Bruce texted me when he arrived to my house and sent me pictures of the work when he was complete. Bruce was polite, professional, and I was extremely comfortable doing business with him. I will definitely hire him in the future and highly recommend!

Bruce did exactly what he said he would and showed up exactly when he said he would. When he was running late, he texted. The work was done beautifully, even better than expected, for the price he quoted. I will definitely call him again.

A heavy door pulled the hinge out of the frame. When we tried to fix it, we realized there was nothing solid behind the frame to re-screw the hinge. We tried a work around and splintered the frame. I contacted Bruce on a Tuesday, he came by to view the issue on Wednesday evening, gave us several suggestions and then came back Thursday morning to fix it.

I had used Bruce before on two other projects in my home and my rental property. Bruce is a great communicator and very professional. He provides sound advice and suggestions and this project was completed to expectations and I would recommend him and will use him again in the future.

Bruce did an excellent job. His installation was perfect and meticulous. I'm writing this a few a couple months after work was done and we are very pleased. Bruce is very friendly and professional. After all the work was done he cleaned up thoroughly. He communicated all the challenges and how he would work it out. We will certainly use him again.

It went well. Some original pieces were missing but Bruce was great at improvising and the cabinet is hanging safely.

Thank You Handyman saved my ***. I began a project to replace my backslash that quickly got out of control. The short version of the story is that by removing my existing backsplash, I inadvertently had to remove the horsehair plaster behind it which revealed the bones of the house. As a result, a quick cosmetic project turned into needing to replace an entire wall! I called Bruce and he saved the day. We came up with a plan that fit my budget since this was an unforeseen expense. He secured a new wall between all of my cabinets and countertops. Now I have a nice sturdy wall to apply my subway tile backsplash. He also straightened out my countertops because he knew that I wanted to apply a backsplash and he anticipated that I would run into issues if the countertops were not level. Moreover, he lifted my dishwasher so that it fit my kitchen better and stabilized the garbage disposal switch. Bruce Terzian of Thank You Handyman is amazing and I will hire him for all of my home repair needs!
