You know all those odd jobs you could probably do yourself, but can't seem to find the time? We can help! No need to procrastinate, just give us a call and we'll have that project that has been hanging over your head done when you get home from work. In 1991 Bruce caught the "remodeling bug" when he purchased his 120 year old home in need of love and attention. He realized that he enjoyed the challenge of making something "old" become new again. Bruce spent 30 years as an industrial, graphic designer and excellent problem solver and diversified knowledge of building materials, process and repairs. Bruce began to see a need for busy homeowners. They needed to have someone dependable to do all those jobs around the home that just somehow never get done. He envisioned a "handyman" type of service that would show up on time, do quality work and charge a fair price. This is how "Thank You Handyman" came to life. Description of Work: Bruce repaired a basement window. He reglazed the three panes of glass that were falling out. He did a nice job. He was friendly and professional and he even explained what he was doing.

Description of Work: Some of the work was good, but he ruined a $1500 vanity after attempting to put on the door handles. He made an extra hole and they are not even. One of the handles is sightless higher because of the mistake. He did take some extra time to install the bathroom medicine cabinet. Nice man, but I would not use him for anything complex.

I guarantee all my work and have in the past returned to fix any problems at no additional charge to the homeowner. The home owner requested the following, instal 16 separate treads onto the stairway, add (2) handles on the vanity, caulk a gap under the vanity and instal (2) vanity base board. After each project was completed I had the home owner approve each project before I started onto the next. On the vanity handles, I did point out that I drilled an extra (2) holes needed to move up the right handle by a 1/32" to match the left. And would go the hardware store to get supplies to repair the additional holes. The home owner approved the handles and said not to bother "the handles look great" and she would prefer medicine cabinet be assembled and installed on the wall. The two hours were completed at that point and I spent a additional hour to instal the medicine which I did not charge the home owner. I'm sorry this home owner was not happy with the quality of my work

Angie's List Big Deal requires I contact the homeowner with in 2 working days from date of purchase. I sent a email on 3/10/2016 to the home owner requesting project details and to schedule a date. I never heard back from them and the work was never completed. I reached out to them once again to contact me to complete the 2 hours.

Description of Work: Fixed my undercounter turntable, moved plastic tubs from lst floor to basement, moved wall units to storage area, moved items too heavy for me into wall units, did many small things that I could not manage on my own. The home owner purchased the winterization package on 1/4/2015. I sent (3) emails 1/6,1/9 and 1/23 using Angie's list email thanking the home owner for the purchase the big deal and to please call to schedule an appointment. I never received a reply or phone call. I called the homeowner this morning 10/29 and he confirmed he did received my emails. We have scheduled an appointment on November 16, I look forward to completing the order and helping him winterized his door and windows.

Description of Work: Bruce was a consummate professional, proactively identifying potential issues with getting our TV bracket up and TV mounted, going so far as to run out to the hardware store to retrieve a proper part not included with the original packaging.
