The install was not straightforward and required custom woodworking by Bruce to make the cabinet and support pieces fit flush with our imperfect walls. He left our house to purchase some wood required for the install and also took some pieces to his home shop to do detail cuts. He still completed the job same day! Bruce did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the creative ideas he had to make it work.

I bought a Big Deal for 2 hours of handyman service. I have been wanting to have our old shower stall re-caulked so I used the Big Deal for that. Bruce was a pleasure to deal with. He contacted me promptly after I purchased the Big Deal, and we spoke about the project I wanted done. Bruce was able to schedule the work pretty quickly. He contacted me the day before to confirm our appointment, and he showed up on time the next day. He walked through the project with me and went to work. He was very polite and professional. The caulking he did looks good. We haven't used the shower yet so time will tell. Also, before he left, he talked to me about a loose step I had and gave me thoughts on how to approach fixing it. I will definitely keep Bruce in mind for future Handyman projects.

Bruce was a fabulously talented and professional breath of fresh air. He is so knowledgeable and helpful. He discussed and explained everything to me before he did the task. I would definitely hire him again.

He was unable to perform them in the time I needed but gave me wonderful advice on the type of services I need. Not only that but told me the specific questions I should ask of other providers. A generous and magnanimous person who I will look to work with in the future.

Bruce has done work for us twice now. We are very happy with the work he has done. Bruce is very responsive to emails and vmails and very punctual. We also found his prices to be very reasonable, which is always a plus. We have already booked him to come back and install a wireless door bell once the weather warms up. We are very happy with the service Bruce provides and would not hesitate to call him to ask him to help with any future projects. Bruce was very professional during the initial quote for the work as well as when doing the work itself. He completed all the jobs within two days and his work was meticulous. Will be hiring him again!

Communicating with Bruce was easy. He was very responsive, offered a couple of dates to complete the work. He called to confirm his appointment, he was very efficient with his time. When installing the first shelf (our home has plaster walls), he realized the original shelf wasn't straight. He offered to re-install the existing the shelf. Both shelves look great. In the second bedroom, he secured a cord for shades. Again, he discovered an error will the original install and corrected it. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept us informed of his progress.

Everything went great. Bruce was extremely helpful.

Bruce promptly contacted us after we purchased an Angie's List "package deal" for this service. He scheduled the service at our convenience. Once he arrived here, he explained the work in clear terms and worked efficiently. He also cleaned up afterwards. Neither door was a standard job -- one is bigger than usual, and the other is a funky installation by the prior owner -- but Bruce accommodated the quirks of each and left us with two very insulated doors. I would gladly use him for small carpentry and other repairs in the future.

Bruce was very punctual and began working right away. He explained exactly what he would be doing and how the placement would be to both me and my husband. He also identified a problem and solution with how our folding attic staircase was hitting our closet framing. Bruce offered to fix that as well the same day. He was very conscientious and clean. We are definitely having Bruce back to our home to perform some other repairs in the near future.

We purchased the following Special from Angie's List: $189 Door and Window Winterization/Air Leak Seal This deal was to cover: - Replacing the jam weather stripping on two standard exterior doors - Seal up to 10 standard interior windows with sealant (as needed) - Free comprehensive inspection of exteriors - Materials and labor included Bruce had called us before coming to our house and confirming that the specials may OR may not apply to the type of doors an windows I may have. I completely understand and asked him to come over to take a look and in helping me with the drafty single pane windows for the winter and possibly seal door/s that are also drafty. Bruce offered suggestions to get curtains to offset the draft and told me that he would not be able to winterize my wooden single pane windows. I know changing at some point would make sense, but all I needed was to help block draft and was hoping that Winterization / sealing would help. He only worked on ONE door, applies winterization from the outside and called it a day. I looked at the 2 strips he put on the outside of the doors that had draft / leak and did approach him on whether this is all I would get for what I paid. He said yes! I asked him for an Invoice of the work that he had done as I felt cheated for someone to have ONLY done ONE door when the special had lot more to the service. I was not provided any detail or indication that I would be paying $189 for insulating 1 door - which I could have easily replaced for additional couple of hundred dollars In summary - on the work performed, did not get an Invoice, was asked by Bruce to contact Angie's List as they were running this special and he even made a point of asking if he should remove the weather strip he had applied, considering $30 material. I was really unhappy with the response and service and so this rating and review to seek help. I understand service and have worked with several contractors, but this round was not my best experience.r

I was not sure what was was behind the wall above the sink. Bruce cut a small hole in the wall to determine what was behind the wall. Unfortunately there were pipes behind the wall and the medicine cabinet could not be installed. Bruce repaired the hole with a patch and plaster. He came back twice to make sure the plaster was dry and sanded properly. He was very neat and cleaned up before he left.

Did a great job. Very nice guy, we had him do several other items beyond the Angies List deal.

Bruce was prompt and professional. He provided an estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. I would definitely use Bruce for all of my household projects.

Bruce Terzian of Thank You Handyman came to the apartment and provided me with a written estimate that included materials as well as labor, then showed up at the appointed time and provided excellent workmanship. These projects improve the usability of my bathroom, bedroom closet, and kitchen and look great.

Our experience with Bruce was excellent. He communicated very well scheduling his initial inspection, with right off the bat made him nicer to deal with than other providers. After his initial visit he gave a preliminary quote but suggested getting another water inspection before he started work. It was good advice since the behind-the-wall moisture was localized, and Bruce cut his estimate due to the revised scope of his work...all on his suggestion. The work was completed on time and on budget, and he had to work with our two toddlers in the house during the day. He was friendly, accommodating, and the results look very good. We would use Bruce again for future work.

Bruce was very respectful and was great to get back to me with questions, etc. He was right on the nose as to what he was going to do and when. I was thrilled with his workmanship and completely trusted him to do a nice job which he did. I would definitely hire Bruce again. But be warned, he is in big demand so you might have to wait!

Bruce was a thorough gentleman. He was very professional and came to our house multiple times to get the job done. He was patient and took time to explain the issues and how he resolved them. He seemed more of a teacher encouraging me to do some of the minor tasks rather than a handy man who would be looking for more work. His calm demeanor and his level of perfection to get the job done right, impressed me greatly. It doesn't surprise me when he says, he is booked out to the end of the year and beyond. When I first called him, he was upfront about his availability and almost did not take the job, when he realized that I had bought the deal, he quickly arranged for us to meet after his usual working hours in the evening. Its was incredibly nice of him to do that. I would certainly recommend Bruce to anyone and would surely ask him to come back if i ever need help around the house.

It did take a little longer than expected but the end result was well worth it. I am having a little trouble replacing a part from the master bedroom door that I hadn't expected to be removed but I didn't think to mention it before hand. If I can't fix it, I will call him and I know he will respond. A few times he did come later than he had told me but it didn't have any negative effect and he stayed pretty late (6-7 or later). I would use Thank You Handyman again and would recommend him to others.

Bruce is amazing with details ? he's our new go-to-guy! I sent him photos of the area that needed repair. We then spoke on the phone, where I described in detail the work that needed to be done. He came over, gave me an estimate and returned to install the cabinet. It was a tricky job, because the cabinet maker had incorrectly measured for the space and Bruce had to do quite a bit of measuring and cutting in order to make the cabinet work. It fit like a glove ? he pushed the (drawer) microwave into place and voila perfect! I truly appreciated his attention to detail, and how he described exactly what he was going to do with the installation/fix. Can't say enough great things about him/his work.
