PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Promptly came at time expected and diagnosed that the furnace needed a new heat exchanger. He said not to use the furnace until he came back with the part and that we would get a call the next day to inform us when it would be installed. The next day, we had not heard from Gassco by 4pm, so I called them and was told the part needed to be shipped and would not be arriving for a week. When I questioned not having heat for a week, I was advised to keep my oven on. After 7 days of temperatures between 50 and 60 in my house, I called them to be told it would be another 4 days. They called today, said the part was in, and came over this afternoon to install it. It felt unreasonable to wait a full 11 days for a part without heat in my home. Perhaps I should be more frustrated with American Standard - the company who shipped the part. Gassco did not charge me for the part itself, as the furnace was still under warranty - only the $75 shipping charge and the labor for installation. I think I gave them a "C" for professionalism because the 2-3 times I called checking on the part (they weren't calling me with updates) they gave me the impression it wasn't a big deal I was without heat, and they didn't seem interested in why it took so long for it to get shipped.

It was the hottest day of the year and others weren't making any promises, but Gassco said they would send someone tomorrow morning, possibly later in the day. He came a 5 PM, and very quickly determined what happened. Everything went very quickly save locating a filter, because my AHU has an odd size. He wrote the bill, which had a reasonable bottom line, then had a couple of minutes of conversation. All was very pleasant.

Very prompt to get back to me. Timely, performed all work necessary.

Excellent experience - timely and very helpful

We called Jim because our heating system didn't seem to be performing very well. As it turned out, there was no problem with the system - we just didn't know how to work it because it's our first winter in the house. Jim explained everything in great detail and was incredibly helpful. If we ever have any issues with our furnace, we know whom to call! He was great.

Very friendly for making appts; answered phone right away. The technician gave helpful advice and worked quickly. The late arrival of the technician for both appts was likely due to weather and emergencies; however neither the dispatcher nor technician called to let me know.

Called them on Friday afternoon late, and by Tuesday of the following week, the furnace was installed. We were pleased with their responsive and efficient service.
