Since this was such a simple service and Consolidated is right in my area I did not ask for an estimate or talk to any other plumbers but just called them out. Tom arrived on time, had the necessary tools, did the work and answered questions. (He did have to stop and fix his electric snaking machine for a few minutes but that did not add to my bill.) I had cleared out the space under the sink for him to work before he got there and put it all back after he left but he did a thorough job of cleaning up any and all spatters of grime when he was done. While he was there I asked him about some other heating/plumbing issues and he was helpful but suggested I talk to my oil company first. Now that's unusually customer-oriented! He could have sold me another job that I might not need. After he left I realized that he had not asked for payment. I got the bill in the mail a week later and was pleasantly surprised to see a labor charge of $95 for one hour and $10 for a dispatch fee. I guess the cost of gas requires the extra fee but still that's extremely reasonable and I'm certainly keeping Consolidated on my favorites list.

Great experience - I had some difficulties working with my management company and Jodi was helpful and accommodating - willing to be flexible (another plumber I contacted wasn't). On time arrival and quick, efficient, quality work - just what I was hoping for.

I asked Consolidated to come by and check out my ancient sump pump. A new one was ordered and installed at a convenient date and time.

This was the second time we have used Consolidated and, once again, were quite pleased with their work. We plan to have them back to help replace a bathroom vanity.

The work is good, price was reasonable, came on time.

The plumber who showed up for the appointment was knowledgeable and replaced the flushing mechanism on my toilet that hadn't flushed properly for years. It works!

They responded quickly to our call and completed the work in a couple of hours. We were very impressed with Tom the plumber sent out by the company. He was personable and very careful to not track dirt into our condo that we had just cleaned to put on the market.

I have used Consolidated Plumbing and Heating for some time now and have always had positive experiences, this visit was no exception. Mitch is the gentleman who came and spent several hours here and did a good thorough job. He was very careful and analytical and oiled and cleaned the system very well. His response time was good and the carbon dioxide emission testing reassuring. I would recommend their services to others.

I couldn't have found a more helpful group of people. It was just a pleasure dealing with the contact persons namely Jodi and Mitch, the other people in the office who answered the phone, and Tom, the plumber. Tom was very thorough, patient, and polite. He took the time to explain to me what was going on, and he made sure that everything he tried to fix was working properly before he left the house. Another problem came up, but it may not be related to the job that was done. The invoice came almost two weeks later with details about the job done and what needs to be done if problems persist. I was so pleasantly surprised with a bill which I believe was very reasonable. I had not been very lucky with contractors and most service providers in the past, but I got lucky with this one.

The serviceman arrived on schedule and was a nice guy. He told me what needed to be done and had the part in the truck and ready to install. I have not yet received the bill for his visit, but we have used him before and his prices are always well within reason.

THE JOB COULD NOT HAVE GONE BETTER, FROM MY INQUIRY PHONE CALL TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT. WHEN I ASKED THE PLUMBER TO GO A STEP FURTHER WITH RESPECT TO THE SLOW-DRAINING BASEMENT SINK HE DID SO WILLINGLY. (HE FOUND AN ADDITIONAL REASON FOR THE CLOG.) I WOULD CALL CONSOLIDATED AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION!

Tommy was cheerful and helpful, working quickly to do both disconnects. In our new home, he replaced an older hose and switch with higher quality ones. He helpfully labeled a confusing valve, and was also chatty and full of advice on other plumbing matters for our new home.

The price was for this job was extremely high. At $95 an hour plus parts, I paid $1,200 to have two outdoor faucets installed. Otherwise, the work was good and the people were polite and professional. I made the mistake of not obtaining estimates first. I know plumbers are expensive but this was off the deep end. I'll shop around next time. I think the company should have given us a heads up on how much time this job would take and how much it would cost.

The entire experience was excellent. I called the office and Jodi quickly returned my call. She was out of the office when she returned my call so we spoke later that afternoon to schedule an appointment. She was able to fit me in the next day which was terrific. She called me during the "time window" to keep me posted on his arrival and the plumber showed up just when she said he would. He was polite and very friendly, and did an excellent job. He was very quick and therefore I was not charged the full fee. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

After 1 week of fixing the leak, it appears they addressed the problem. Plumber was very professional and prompt. Fee to do the work was very reasonable. I would call them again for any plumbing problems in the future.

They were very polite and responsive on the phone. They do not do general contracting, but only the plumbing on remodeling jobs. They referred me to a contractor that they thought could work in my time frame. He could not, though, and I ended up using another company.

Job 1: Delivery truck was on time, plumber was on time. Plumber was neat and polite. Job 2: Once again, the process was on time, quick and neat.

I was really happy with them. They were very responsive to my questions and their service is great. I felt the price was a bit high.

Company was very helpful and professional. One other company said the work could not be done (because they did not know how to do it) as requested, but could be modified at a cost of $2500. Consolidated Plumbing did an excellent job, was approved by the inspector, completed the work in a timely manner, and left the area very clean.

OUR PLUMBER WAS GREAT - A REALLY FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE & PROFESSIONAL GUY. HE DID GREAT WORK AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED. THEY TEND TO DO BIGGER JOBS, BUT TAKE SMALL ONES WHEN THEY CAN. VERY NICE - JODI HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO US WHEN THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIT US IN.

HE WAS GREAT. 2ND TIME I HAVE USED CONSOLIDATED; THE FIRST WAS WHEN MY BATH TUB WAS POURING OUT WATER ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. BOTH TIMES THEY WERE PROMPT. THIS TIME, THEY ADVISED ME ON A CHEAPER OPTION FOR MY SHOWER, AND I RETURNED THE EXPENSIVE COMPONENTS I HAD BOUGHT AHEAD OF TIME. I WOULD USE CONSOLIDATED AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

VERY GOOD. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND WORKED WITH US TO FIND AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE. REPAIR COMPLETED IN ONE MORNING AND SEEMS TO BE COMPLETE.

THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. THE OWNER'S WIFE ANSWERS THE PHONE AND IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT PLUMBING, I HEAR SHE'S AN ARCHITECT, THEY COULDN'T GET SOMEONE RIGHT AWAY BUT IT WASN'T AN EMERGENCY. SHE CALLED BACK THE NEXT WEEK AND SAID SHE WAS SENDING SOMEONE OVER. HE WAS VERY NICE AND FIXED BOTH PROBLEMS VERY QUICKLY, EVEN GOING OUT TO GET OLD PARTS AND RETURNING TO FIX IT. THE PLUMBER WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY AND A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE BILL YET SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT COST.
