They were all very professional, careful, respectful and kind. It was a pleasure dealing with them from when I first bought the deal, through to the end. I have some antique furniture and they were VERY careful for me with it all. I have had movers damage furniture in the past, but not these men. :-) They were very prompt!! They worked quickly and efficiently. They were even careful about the grass on the front lawn. I only interacted for planning purposes with Michael, the head gentleman. He was fantastic. I would work with them again, happily!

They were very professional and responsive in setting up the appointment and in the work they did. I would use them again.

They were excellent. They were very helpful and committed. They made what would have been a very stressful day much easier.

They carefully wrapped all furniture and accessories to be moved in blankets or cardboard as appropriate. And just as carefully moved everything into the new place and set everything up very carefully as well.

Nick reached our house on time with his crew. They first put all the furniture that we wanted to discard out on the curb. Nick told us the order in which the stuff was going to be moved. They made two trips and the move took the whole day. They even picked up two closets from the hardware store on the way. They did everything perfectly with no damage to our furniture or property. Nick and his crew were hardworking and polite. We would certainly like to use them in the future and highly recommend them.

I signed up for the moving service, giving my debit card credit information prior to realizing that the company does not provide their services on weekends, which was a required need for me. My only reason for giving a "B" for the experience is that I was unable to determine their service hours prior to making the payment. I have now agreed to work with Oscar's Moving Co. on Nov. 23rd - another Angie's List company!

Very easy to schedule and the owner Nick was diligent following up with all my questions via phone and email. I was motivated to find a company that would provide excellent service and within my budget and it took me a while to find the right company. Both cost and care were equally important to me and I think the price was right and the service was excellent. Nick agreed to give me a 15 mins heads up and he also called the night before to confirm the final details and address. A really professional and energetic trio arrived on time in a clean truck. It rained all morning but the crew worked steadily and without complaint. They really took care of my goods and I was impressed how carefully they placed all the items. Really nothing seemed too much trouble and they were especially careful not to bring in dirt from the rain outside which was a huge relief. We have another move into a new office and I will definitely be calling Nick and his crew again. If quality and price are important, give Nick.

Selected and payed for Big Deal through PayPal with the necessary dates I needed service. The company sent me an email and asked me to call them as they were not able to schedule the job. When I called they said they had no availability and that I should have "CALLED THEM FIRST BEFORE PURCHASING THE DEAL". BEST MOVERS "EVAH"! From my first phone call with Nick at Bell Air Moving, I knew this was going to be a good experience. When Nick and his team arrived at the first residence, they worked diligently and with such care, ensuring that every piece of furniture was wrapped well and protected during the move. Being on the third floor of an apartment building with small elevators and tight stairwells, they made a difficult move seem easy. Upon arrival at the second residence, they tackled a steep driveway and maneuvered through narrow staircases, low ceilings and tight doorways of an antique colonial with such ease and precision. Nick and his team were so friendly and courteous and it was by far the most enjoyable and pleasant move I have ever experienced. Should I need to move again, there is no other company I would even consider and would highly recommend Bell Air Moving to anyone in need of moving services. Thank you to Nick and his team for making the typically painful and frustrating moving experience such an incredible and enjoyable one.

I can't believe how hard everyone worked and how pleasant they were !!! I still have more to move and I will definately be calling to finish up the job!!!!

Everything went awesome. Contact was prompt and scheduling was a breeze. They arrived on time (early) and everything went perfect. Could not have had a better experience!

Nick and his team were absolutely fantastic. They were punctual, organized, honest, extremely conscientious and careful. They could not have been nicer to my mother and myself. My mother's house is like a museum, spotless and full of beautiful antiques. She was quite nervous that her home might be harmed during the move - in particular, her walls, her floors and her antique clock that couldn't be removed from the wall. Nick and the guys left the house spotless - the floors were not scuffed, the walls remained spotless and the clock was entirely unharmed. They were extremely efficient in moving the furniture out of my parents' house and into my house. They were contending with several large, heavy dressers but they wrapped them up, loaded them in and out of their truck in record time. The entire move of a bedroom's worth of furniture and some large, heavy crates took 1.5 hours. I can't thank Nick enough for his hard work. I will definitely recommend Bell Air Moving Company to my friends and neighbors. Nick deserves lots and lots of business!

At first I was very happy with my conversation with Nick. I had a list of movers to contact, and he was pleasant and helpful on the phone. I was happy with his price and our conversation. I emailed back with a confirmation of what we discussed so that I could put down a deposit. In response he said that he gets lot of calls, so he doesn't remember speaking with me and could I call him back to go over the job again? No, I called already. I'm not sure why having a notebook (or post-it note) is considered too much work for the person who answers the phone and sets appointments. I don't know how they are at moving, but with their lack of organization, I'm not sure they would remember to show up at your house.

They were great! We had a small change in plans and they were flexible! Moved us in such a short time ! Great job!!

Our move had to be split up over the course of three days based on closing logistics. For this reason, I had trouble getting a moving company to agree to store our stuff on their truck that whole time (as opposed to loading/unloading twice). Nick (head of company) was upfront about this during my initial call with him but offered the idea of renting a truck and having his team move us in and out. Despite this requiring me to drive the truck myself, it ended up working out best for my family. On to the move, Nick and his team arrived and immediately got to work. After reviewing the contents of the house, there was a concern that not everything was going to fit in the truck. Nick made the decision to break down ALL of our furniture (tables, desks, etc.) to ensure it fit and his team worked efficiently to get everything in. I was very impressed that they were able to accomplish this in just an hour longer than estimated. Two days later, they arrived at our new home and moved us in without incident. During all my interactions with Nick, he was very responsive to my emails and took the time to answer our questions during the move. He and his team were even patient as we were figuring out where to place our furniture as they moved in. I was very happy with the service and would certainly consider using them again.

Excellent! They were super efficient. I lived on a 3rd floor walk up. The movers worked fast which I paid by the hour so they saved me money. They also smiled while they worked.

I needed movers fast to move my aunt and uncle from their condo to an assisted living facility. Nick responded quickly to my call and explained that 3 men would be sent with the truck and the cost would be a bit more since it was the end of the month. Sounded great to me! They showed up on time, were courteous to all and did a wonderful job packaging things up and getting them to the new location. We could not have been more pleased.

I called Nik before buying the Angies List deal, set up a time which I changed an hour later to another time. He asked me about the things that I needed moved. At the time of the appointment I had about 20 boxes in the basement in addition to the couch, dining set, book shelves, and two bed frames, boxes and mattresses. He estimated about 4 hours for the trip to my place, loading time, drive to storage, unloading time and time to return. Fortunately for me, I managed move some of the boxes to storage myself so I told Nik that a 24' truck may be a serious overkill for the job. The three person crew arrived close to the 8:30am estimated time with their 24' truck! They quickly wrapped up everything within 45 minutes and loaded it into their truck. They also helped me load some of the things into a 10' UHaul that was going to a different destination. They arrived at the storage minutes after we did. A quick unload later they were on their way at 10:50am. Total time: just under 3 hours. The crew was hardworking, careful with my furniture, and very professional and very serious (literally :-) I will look them up again when I have to move things out of storage.

Bell Air Moving arrived early at the storage location where we asked them to move us from, then came to our condo. They moved all the furniture we requested and calmly explained that our 5x5 IKEA shelving would not fit, then let us use their power tool to disassemble it. We had 1 other piece of furniture that would not fit, and they attempted to move it and warned us it would not, then they tried and it did not, as promised, and they were very straightforward and courteous about this. We had no problems at all with the payments, which were accurate per the quote, and they charged for exactly the time spent, not rounding up (e.g., 2 h 45 m when we expected they would charge for 3). Also, the supplies were only $10. They even tightened a table leg! They were very respectful and careful of the move out and move in location and caused no damage to items moved or the housing. I hope we don't have to move soon again, but if we do, we will call Bell Air!

Very well. Professional and fast--and it was in the high 80's temp-wise. No complaints from these poor guys.

Phenomenal. What an incredibly smooth and stress-free experience I just had this morning. I had called earlier in the week to see if Nic and his guys could come an hour earlier than planned (8 vs 9) as I had an important event I needed to attend to later in the day. Not only did they show up early they came at 7:35, knowing I?d be up then. Fantastic way to start off what is usually a stressful day. Everything was packed with care. Not a single knick on the walls (and I have very tight spaces and a narrow stairwell). Always a smile on their faces. They couldn?t have been more accommodating. Nic is clearly an expert as he gave me a rough estimation of how long it would take based on what I told him over the phone. And that?s without seeing the house. He was dead on. And they worked HARD! Never stopping for a breath. All I can say is if you need a fantastic mover, hire Nic and his crew. You won?t regret it. I already told them I?d be hiring them for the next move! Thank you, Nic!! If only everyone delivered the same service!

Originally I wasn't going to write this review because I don't like to write negative reviews. But I want to make sure future people who want to use their service learn from my mistake. Pros: They arrived early for the move. Overall the service was good. They did not mar or destroy any of our furniture. During our initial phone call I was told they could move a two bedroom apartment in 3 hours, which matched the length of time their Angie's coupon was for. Cons: They started off strong and quick when getting our boxes and furniture onto the moving van. But as time went on they started to slow down. We even tried to chip in to get things brought to the van quicker so we could get to our house and start unpacking but that didn't help they were still moving slow, almost as if on purpose. The slowness they exhibited ended up being so they could charge us extra beyond the coupon's 3 hour move time. Our new house was only ten minutes away and we figured even if they simply dropped of the items in the rooms and didn't put the furniture back together again we would be done within the 3 hour time frame but they managed to stretch it out to 4 hours. In the end we payed for the extra time for each of the three movers. Not a way to win a recommendation or repeat business. Ways they could have received a better rating. Be proactive with communication. If you new there would be an upcharge state that as soon as you know so I had the chance to negotiate. Be honest, I don't want to make you lose money, but I don't want to feel like I was being ripped off. I now know that I need to ask a moving company about every possible charge they could pass on to me (including tape) up front so I can determine if they deserve my business.
