BELL AIR MOVING

Went well overall. Took longer to pack, was generally pleased with the workers (3 guys) except wish they didn't count the time they took to pick through the curb/giveaway items, especially since I was charged for the overtime. Also, the timing of the move put us smack dab in the middle of traffic! Took twice as long to get to the new place due to traffic. Owner was nice to only charge me for half the time--was more than fair on that point. Consulted me on a very large expensive rug, how I wanted to fold it, where it was going, how big the space, etc. I wasn't charged for the wrap/material. Owner was very professional, even kind and very personable but still staying professional. The truck was huge, so parking was interesting when they first arrived, but they made it work. Overall good experience and worth it for the convenience hiring pros brings.

Nick and his team did an excellent work. They arrived on time and wrapped all furniture before loading to the truck. After unloading they set up the furniture in the right location we requested. I will definitely recommend Nick and his team to my friends.

It went great and we were very pleased with how easy it was to hire them (our scheduled movers canceled last minute and we hired Bel-Air the same week we moved!!) and how fast they were doing the moving process.

Nick and his team were wonderful - the 3 of them showed up exactly on time, and efficiently wrapped and secured our furniture loading it into the truck. Upon arrival at the new house, they unloaded everything carefully delivering marked boxes to their respective rooms. They took better care of our furniture than we do, and everything survived the move without any damage. Friendly, professional, efficient, and came in under the original estimate. Extra points for fitting us in at the last minute as well - we called just a few days before we needed to move - and for flawlessly navigating a large and awkward armoire up a twisted flight of stairs.

Did not use this company and would not in the future.

The men presented on time to the job and were prompt in their delivery. I had to contact him initially to schedule an appointment and although he fitted me into his schedule, made me fell as if this was an imposition. I'.m not sure if I would use this provider again. I was hoping for excellent as we'll be requiring a mover's service again in the near future.

On moving day, I received a phone call from Nick indicating when he would arrive, which was the agreed upon time. Once on sight, Nick and his team evaluated what had to be moved and began wrapping, protecting, and moving items. His staff is friendly and professional. They make sure the customer is satisfied. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Nick accommodated our requested move date. Showed up on time with 2 workers. I gave them the plan and they got to work wrapping all furniture and loading up the truck. Took extra care of our belongings and after we reached our new home they unwrapped, assembled and arranged all furniture in the rooms where we wanted to.

We moved during a super busy weekend for movers, and Nick was super responsive when trying to arrange the time. We were lucky enough to get the time slot of a last-minute cancellation early on a Sunday morning. The team of three showed up right on time, at 8:30 sharp and got to work. We had taken apart any furniture that wouldn't fit through the door, which they appreciated and it helped them load things much more quickly (we also put the furniture back together at the new house). They were happy to move the furniture to exactly where we wanted it, and they used furniture pads so nothing got damaged in the move. We used an Angies List coupon, so the price was lower than it usually is, but these guys were great so we would definitely use them again even without the coupon.

Nick and his 2 helpers showed up on time as he said he would. I expected him to call me on Friday to let me know what time I could expect him on Tuesday. He didn't call me until Monday afternoon, but that was enough to relieve me of any anxiety I had during the holiday weekend. They worked fast, did everything my wife and I asked. They were professional, courteous, and just a good experience overall. I would recommend them based on this experience.

They showed up at the very end of the 1 hour window I was given. In a timely fashion, boxes were loaded onto the truck. Furniture was wrapped and then loaded as well. On the other end, everything was unloaded into the rooms as instructed. The move itself went smoothly, although I would add a couple of observations that soured the overall experience and would give me more than serious pause about hiring this company again: 1. Damage to furniture and house: The packing tape that the movers used to fix moving blankets around my furniture was placed directly onto several wooden pieces, which when pulled off when they were unwrapped took the finish off. Additionally, the movers took a couple of chunks out of my ceiling in the front hallway ceiling from moving the larger pieces of furniture up to the 2nd floor. I didn't discover these issues until several days later, 2. Pricing: Their pricing felt misleading and I take issue with the owner's accounting of time. This was made through the AL buynow $299 for 3 hours deal. Given a very tight time frame I was in for different reasons, I knew exactly when they arrived and when they finished, which was 3 hours and 5 minutes in TOTAL. I was also charged for 30 minutes of travel time for a 3.7 mile drive between houses. On top of this, when the move was done the owner took 15 minutes to write up the bill, and then charged me for 3 hours and 30 minutes of labor! In other words, there was a disruption in the space time continuum such that the owner billed me for 4 hours of total time on the job (3 hours 30 mins labor + 30 minutes travel) even though it only took 3 hours and 5 minutes of total time (labor + travel). Would not recommend.

These guys were terrific. Nick is the owner of Bel Air and he answered the phone personally every time I called. Nick spoke with me by phone and gave me an estimate without coming to the house. In retrospect I am extremely impressed because another mover said Nick quoted too small a truck. When I asked him, Nick was confident and, as it turned out, the truck had ample space to spare. Nick's quote was about HALF what Gentle Giant quoted. Nick showed up on the early side of his arrival time and came with 2 additional movers. They were professional, quick, and efficient, and were responsive to our direction and special requests. Everything was moved effectively and there was no damage to any of our items. They showed up at 8:30am and worked until 4:30pm. We used an Angie's List promotion and the total cost was under $1,000. I thought it was phenomenal.

2 flights on each side of the move. SUPER professional, lovely, trustworthy...I LOVED THEM. their price was a bit higher than the quote, but I believe it was an honest mistake of not realizing how much CRXX**p I had!!

They showed up and were very professional and timely. Overall experience was great.

They were responsive and even able to change my date when I needed to. They worked fast and were very professional and polite. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

Nik is extremely nice and honest and takes customer service seriously. The move was fast and efficient. As far as we can tell, nothing is broken. I will recommend Bell Air to my friends.

They were so incredibly easy to work with from initial phone call to the day of the move and the price was awesome! My furniture was handled with such care and I couldn't believe how quick they were! Only scare I got was that they didn't arrive at the time we originally planned and I started to panic that they forgot about me; but a quick phone call immediately got me through to the owner and he said they were running just a bit behind but would be along - even with the late start and the commute down to Duxbury they still finished quicker than I expected! Love them and would recommend 150%.

I called them yesterday and they moved me today! It was great! They were very nice and fast. I would definitely use them again. The man I spoke with on the phone and the driver of the truck like to have as much information as possible and I can understand why - I didn't realize I had so much stuff in the 2nd storage unit but everything worked out ok. Just make a list of what you have before you call so you can give them all the details ahead of time.

Overall the company was excellent . My move should of require 3 men, because of the second floor stairwell, they had to hoist the couch up over the porch. Instead of quitting ,they made it worked. Very willing to work with you.

On time, inexpensive, no skretches / damages even the access to the second floor was extremely inconvenient, clean and quiet.

PERFECT movers - couldn't ask for better people! Nick was very patient with me over the phone as I explain that I needed to move my oversized slipper sofa and have no idea if it will feet up the stairs. We end up move (hoist) it in threw the back porch. Boy did they hustle. On moving day, Nick texted me 1hr. before my scheduled time that they were close. . They were on time and the crew was courteous and worked quickly. It was the easiest, most pleasant move I ever had. Everything got wrapped in blankets, bubble wrap, taped. Everything survived and not one thing broken or scratched. The quote matched what I ended up paying for the services and it was money very well spent. Thank you! Overall: 1. Totally honest. 2. professional 3. Affordable rates. 4. Fast, strong, excellent workers. 5. Best I ever used packers. 6. Decent people you can trust. What could have been a stressful and awful experience was actually a great one and within estimate. I'm already recommended them to my friends.

Bell Air guys came into my apartment on time as promised. They helped me finish packing as i asked them, even they did not have to. They were moving things very carefully, wrapped fragile stuff in a soft material, secured it in their truck and were driving very carefully. When it came to unpacking, they did a very good job, they put all things where i asked them to, and have been very cooperative. They also have been very polite and nice. I am very happy with their services.

He was on time, his price was exactly what he said it would be. He did a great job. He was very courteous and i felt very comfortable with him in my house. First he had to come where I live to get my son's stuff from my house, then they had to go to his girlfriend's house to get things from there and moved them into an apartment.

This is the 4th time that I or a friend has used Nick and his team. These guys are the BEST. They get an AA+++++++ Nick comes when he says he will come. The job is done with efficiency. No coffee breaks or stopping. He is experienced and very helpful. I am a meticulous person and he satisfies me. No damage. Loads and unloads the stuff easily. On my last move he had to drop stuff off in storage and then deliver items to another town. All done efficiently and with a smile. I recommend him highly. Nick is from Russia, but he speaks well and understands everything. His prices are very fair. Doesn't try to milk you. I will be moving stuff out of storage soon... and I'll definitely call NIck.
