+ -1 moreThey were above expectation in all respects. Courteous, respectful, and paid care to not interfere with the original nautre of the building. They were delicate in their repair process. They covered everything around the repair location. They used a HEPA vaccum to control the plaster dust and when they were done they cleaned up after themselves. Very respectful of the building.
Description of Work: Repaired water damage to a plaster ceiling and molding in a formal dining room and in the room above they opened a plaster wall, closed it, repaired it.

+ -1 moreAustin Ornamental is probably the finest ornamental plasterer in the region. Their attention to detail is unmatched as is their ability to handle the complex problems that older properties present. Sheldon and Frank are a pleasure to work with and even just to watch. We've used them since 1999 and on two houses now and are always amazed at how good they are. Their work makes you feel like you're living in "one of those rooms from a magazine" because of the clean lines and texture.I would never use anyone else for moldings or medallions or any other complex plaster work.
Description of Work: Austin Ornamental repaired large portions of our home's lathe and horsehair plaster walls that probably haven't been touched in 60 years. It was very challenging. They also added a large amount of "big" crown moldings in various rooms.
