Excellent job, communication was good, trimmed three very large trees and removed a smaller tree that was too close to the foundation. Cleaned up the space well, no problems! Definitely will consider hiring again!

I met with Rudy of RGS Tree Service and received an estimate to remove a small Maple tree (25-30 ft.) that had rotted and was a fall hazard, and to trim back a couple of other trees in my yard. Once we agreed on a price ($800) that I was comfortable paying, I received a written agreement from Rudy that described the work to be performed. The next morning, a fleet of RGS vehicles showed up, including a bucket truck, along with a dozen workers. My job was small, so after assessing the work to be done, they left behind the men, vehicles and equipment needed for my job, while the others went onto their next job. The tree work was done quickly and competently. The cut tree was guided by rope and allowed to fall safely into the driveway. These guys were surgeons with their pole and chain saws, cutting with precision. The downed tree and cut limbs were fed into a chipper and disposed of. My property was then swept and blown clean. The crew was friendly and courteous, and understood the work that I wanted performed. I am extremely satisfied with the work performed by RGS and will definitely hire them again, when the need arises. 5 STARS!

Rudi and his team of 5 other workers were diligent, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They arrived early, worked hard all day, and cleaned up after the work was complete. One very large tree did damage our fence when it was coming down; Rudi immediately sent one of the workers to buy new materials, and the fence was repaired and the broken section replaced that very day. Because the trees were in our backyard, Rudy was careful to use large sheets of plywood so the machinery (bucket truck and chipper) would not damage our yard or our neighbor's yard. We recommend Rudi at RGS without reservation.

We had RGS to remove a total of 6 trees around my house in Newton. I found him a very reliable and good service. Rudy responded to my first request and stopped by for quote a day after. His quote compared to other quotes I received is very reasonable and practical. Rudy is friendly. After I confirmed his both liability insurance and worker compensation insurance, I hired him and confirmed the service date. A team of 6-8 people came on time 7AM on the day with 3 total trucks and also the crane. I have a few high tress over 100ft high. They did an efficient job and all 6 trees ranging from 12in to 40in diameters were removed by 3-4pm. They also cleaned up the site well. Highly recommended.

Called on Tuesday, Rudy came on Wednesday June 13, 2018 and reported to us that the tree in question was rotting from the inside. We agreed that Saturday the 16th would work for take down of said tree. Well he called and came earlier - so professional- great work ethic and his crew knew exactly what to do! I highly recommend. Hard a large tree in back of lot that could not be reached by crane and yard had no access for trucks. RGS was one of only 2 companies that were willing to do the job and offered a good price. Rudy was thinking of ways to get the job done vs other companies that simply said it was not worth their time or they would do it for comically large amounts of money. We ended up working with a neighbor to remove a fence to get a bucket truck in (barely!), Rudy's crew was great, they even worked around an old phone line running through the backyard that I said they could remove. And they did it all in a day. I'm sleeping better at night now that that very large rotten tree is gone. My only possible issue is that I told him I was not in a big hurry to remove the tree and he took that pretty literally as it took a few months to get to it, but he did check in and it was also when we had a series of intense storms with lots of wind damage that I believe was keeping him busy. Highly recommend.

Awesome job, the crew was very professional. They completed the job as planned and in a timely manner. The cost was very reasonable. The tree was removed w/o any issues and everything was cleaned up before leaving. I would highly recommend them for tree removal and landscaping needs.

The quoted price was well below others and I thought I might be responsible for the clean-up. I was wrong. The clean-up was outstanding. The experience was great. He was very prompt and professional. Came on time and didn't damage my lawn at all. Cleaned up all the debris and even trimmed up some additional trees. He did a fantastic job and the pricing was fair.

He has worked for me for a few years. Every time I call him he shows, gets the job done and cleans up after himself. He is reasonable. I've always had pleasant dealings with him
