Claims I paid him $150 less than I paid. I checked with my bank, 2 checks cleared for the full amount, HE IS WRONG! (He also didn't give senior discount I asked for.) Life is too difficult without being hassled by someone who can't keep his accounts straight. damaged one antique This hassle negates the marginally acceptable service he provided.

They work 7 days/ week, so the first move was scheduled for late on a Saturday and the return for late on a Sunday. This worked perfectly for our schedule. They call before arriving. The two men, Jameel and the more experienced man whose name we cant recall, were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. We wanted certain pieces of furniture accessible during the refinishing. They easily accommodated this. On the return, they were extremely careful with our new floors, absolutely no pushing or pulling of furniture on the floors, picked up everything carefully, and placed where we wanted, rehung pictures, etc. We would definitely use Provencher for a full house move. Cost was far less expensive than another company we contacted who wanted more than $180 just for half the move.

It was a local move complicated by having items from two households combined (to be separated). Richard was able to get a crew and truck to us with a few days notice when another company fell through. Three strong men showed up on time and ready to work. They surveyed the situation and made sure they knew what was expected. They loaded the truck with our sons belongings first which were to be moved to his new apartment in another town. They then loaded the truck with things we needed put in storage due to home remodeling project and took all these thing to a third town. Unloaded our stuff to store, loaded more stuff for the son's apartment from storage onto the truck and were on their way to final delivery. They also moved a chest freezer to our basement and washing machine and other items to onsite storage at our home. The crew was pleasant and careful and got the job done. If moving could ever be called a good experience, these guys made it one!

I called Provencher at 8:00 PM last evening, they returned my call within 20 minutes and were at my house this morning at 9:00 AM. Very responsive! This was a very difficult move and Provencher took extra care to make sure nothing was scratched. Approximately 5 years ago, we used Provencher for our house move and we had the same great experience. Richard is very experienced and knows all of the tricks to the trade. He is also high energy with a very positive attitude which also helps everyone with long difficult moves. Excellent mover! I'll certainly use Provencher for all of my future moving needs.

Do not even think of using this mover!!!! First, they didn't have me down as a customer when I called to confirm the Friday before my move even though I had booked them a month in advance. (I should have run at this point). When I called on the morning of the move to see where the movers were (I was on a tight schedule to vacate the premises before a closing) I was told they were running a little late but would be there. Eight unanswered phone calls later, they never showed up and didn't have the decency to return a call to me. I have used these people in 3 previous moves with no problem. And I know people who have used them in the past few years. There is definitely a problem now. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!

EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH FURNITURE, WORKED QUICKLY and EFFICIENTLY. VERY ACCOMMODATING, HELPFUL, CLEAN. OFFERED TO MOVE FURNITURE AROUND IN ROOM TO ACHIEVE EFFECT (DID SEVERAL TIMES). VERY POLITE. THEY WERE TERRIFIC!
