Although in the past his work has been excellent, he really fell down on the job this time. He was unable to complete the job due to transportation issues and did not keep me informed. He could not be here to supervise his employees, and never came back to do the "finish" work to disguise their incompetence. Ultimately I fired him. Paid half in advance, and I am sorry I did. Drop cloths were not used. Doorways did not have plastic hung in them to avoid spreading dust. While this company may be good working with nice straight new walls, they did not seem to know how to handle the off square problems in an older house. Having these mistakes repaired are a headache. J & H, now Parker Construction, did not follow through as expected. I am deeply disappointed.

Excellent job, fast, professional and high quality. Jason is also highly flexible and will work with you on any changes and alterations to the original plan. I highly recommend J&H Construction and will definitely use them in the future.

This tiny bathroom, in a 1900's home, had last been remodeled in 1964. For many years it had offered only a toilet and bath; no sink or shower. There was only sub flooring and old dry wall. The space was awkward to work in and has more than one odd little "quirk" to be dealt with. I had no real plans in mind for this room, I just wanted a working bath! Heather pointed me in various directions as far is tile and colors, Jason took our pieces and worked his magic. Just plain tile (all I could afford) was set on-point in different spaces, which completely changed the look of the walls. The floor tiles were then also set on-point, continuing the motif and giving the room a very special look. This couple was always on time, and some days worked "over" the normal workday to complete a part of the project rather than leave it half done. With one bathroom in the house, we appreciated this! In addition they are professional, personable, helpful and a pleasure to have in the house.
