We have used Dan Frosts painting company for over 20 years for both interior & exterior projects. The price is on the high side but one truly gets what one pays for with his company. The work of his painters ranges from very good to superb. They take the time to do proper & thorough prep work, use high quality materials and daily leave spaces neat & clean. Dan stands by the work. One time an employee did NOT cover things properly & got paint on a chair. Dan 1) paid for the damage & 2) removed that painter from, at least, our job. That was the only 'bum' painter we encountered (out of at least 15 over the years). This time they repaired 2 ceilings with ice dam water damage as well as painting the living room, dining room & kitchen (fixing a wall which had a paint cracking problem too). The 1955 place looks like new! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had a library constructed for us entirely paneled (all walls and ceiling) with built in cabinets on one wall by our carpenter. To keep costs down it was done in clear pine to be stained with mahogany stain. We hired Dan Frost who did an extraordinary job. Dan was prompt, neat and professional throughout. He stained the walls, ceiling, cabinets, and interior side of the door then applied a coat of soft gloss urethane. Stain is extremely tricky to work with. He did the entire job without any drips or streaking. People who see this marvelous room think it is mahogany and that we spent a fortune. We did not but that's how superb a job Dan did. We used Dan Frost successfully again when we completed our downstairs project but that's another review!

After such a positive experience the year before we hired Dan Frost to paint our downstairs hall & laundry room areas. Dan supervised his 2 long term, extremely professional painters Don & Steve. They were perfectionists from the prep work through to the final coats. Extremely polite, quiet, punctual and neat, they did the best painting job we have had in 25 years in our home. We definitely will use them again & highly recommend the work of Dan Frost and his crew.

Work was done professionally and in a timely manner. I felt confident in the owner and his staff. On the expensive side, but the work was good.

They were very responsible, efficient and clean. They were on schedule. At night, I would come back from work and I couldn't tell they were here. They cleaned up every night. They are reliable.

Dan was flexible and worked around the other contractors schedules. The job started on time and completed on time. They left the place cleaner than when they started; even amazed the other contractors. I would definately use them again. While the price as a tad higher than other quotes, I see why-- with the overall quality and attention to detail. Their quality was the best I have ever seen. They even offered to come back, after all the other work was done, to touch up any areas, at no additional cost. Quite a great company, I will use again and again. My real estate agent recommended them and she was right.
