I love Mickey McNulty. It was sort of a complicated house search for long distance because we were living in Syracuse at that time. I had to travel to Massachusetts to do house hunting. We started out claiming to buy a real authentic antique colonial home that was built over 100 years ago. The first day of house hunting made it evident that was not what was going to make us happy. Then by the second day, we were looking at new construction. So, Mickey McNulty was incredibly flexible and helpful in terms of research and finding properties that were appropriate for us. We had some difficulties because of making a purchase offer on a home that was actually not still on the market. So, we felt that we got a purchase offer on our dream home, but the deal fell through because it really wasn't still on the market. It was a real tough thing to go through. Mickey was just a rock. She absolutely understood how emotionally difficult that was. She was supportive and patient. We just picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves up and started all over again. Then I made another trip up here and we found our dream house. It was also a very complicated closing, but she earned her commission on this one. There was a lot of work. She was very pleasant, positive, personable and friendly. She never loses her cool. We were house hunting in a blizzard on days when nobody should have been out in the car. She knew I was in town to do it; so we just went ahead and did it. She had bags of sand and shovel in the back of her vehicle. If we could get into a driveway, we made it happen. That's how hard she worked to show me a house.
