Nice people. Seem to be hard working. They would still be cleaning our house if they were a little more forthcoming. I spent a lot of my high schools years doing jobs where I had to mop a lot of floors. Dirty mops and/or dirty mop water leave an unmistakable odor, which our floors had the last two times they came. It is not a smell you ever forget. When we pointed it out to them, we would have been quite happy with a sorry, we screwed up, it won't happen again. The woman who had done the mopping replaced the mop cloth with a clean one, and redid the floors, which solved the problem that day. But when the owner came by, we were told that it was our cat causing the smell, and when that didn't fly, insistence from both the owner and later on the phone from her husband, that it was impossible, that it couldn't have happened. Had they not done this, we would still be using them, and I would never have thought it necessary to post a negative report.

The price and offer of cleaning was part of an Angie's List promotion. The service was discounted, from a regular $120. 3 ladies showed up and were courteous and efficient and worked non stop. The lady cleaning the bathrooms got the soap scum off of the walls and the tub better than we ever had. The floors were cleaned in the bathrooms and the wood floor in the kitchen was cleaned well. the rest of the floors were vacuumed. All went well. We never worried about something being taken. The women were here for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The only small problem was that it took approximately one week for a return call. We understand that the company was probably bombarded with calls because of the Angie's list Big Deal offer. Considering that, a week wasn't too bad. Overall, everyone that we dealt with from the first call to the final goodbye was friendly and professional.

Wow - This was the first time we've ever used a professional house cleaner, and I'm pretty sure our house looked the part - especially since we have a 2-yr old and a large, very hairy dog. Joe called me immediately after booking the Angie's list deal to make an appointment, and then called again the night before to confirm the date/time/service being performed. He and Maria showed up 10 minutes early (lovely) and was super personable and got right down to it - was actually starting to take apart the stove and toaster while I was showing him the kitchen. They even accommodated my sleeping toddler and started downstairs first to avoid waking him. I asked Joe to focus specifically on the bathrooms/kitchens/floors (in that order) since we had a short cleaning time-span and this was the first time the house had ever been thoroughly cleaned. They did all that and more and asked me to check the work half way through to make sure it was what I was expecting. I left after the first hour to run errands and returned home to an immaculate home (with the lights out, and doors shut, as I had requested). Even in the short time they had, Joe and Maria also did all the windows, washed/vacuumed the floors, dusted the furniture (and underneath) and cleaned all of our appliances. I could not have been more pleased. It doesn't even look like we have a dog! (No more hair tumbleweeds rolling through the halls!!) And the bathrooms were totally scrubbed down. I am super-impressed with their quick and thorough work, their punctuality, and their cost (we asked for a rough estimate for a regular cleaning). We are definitely planning on having them clean on a regular basis as it is such a pleasure to come home to a clean - glowing - home.

They come on time and do pay attention to detailed. We have a dog so there is fur everywhere. They are pretty good about sweeping and vacuuming all the fur. My husband and I have electric toothbrushes and they cleaned the gross gunk at accumulates on the charger. They also changed the foil that we put in our toaster oven. We have stainless steel kitchen appliances and they made it look new. They come every 2 weeks and sometimes we don't need every single room to be cleaned so the price is determined by what they do. Joe and his staff are friendly and they do good work.

The cleaning team arrived right on time. Three cheerful, polite women, they tidied our house from top to bottom leaving it fresh and ready for the holidays.

Joe responded quickly to the email I sent through Angie's list to schedule a walk through for an estimate. He rescheduled 3 times before making it out to our house to give me an estimate, but was up front/responsive via email and phone throughout that process. After receiving the estimate for a great price for the services offered, I called to confirm and schedule service and have never heard back from him. 4 phone messages and 4 - 5 emails later, I assume Happy Homes is not in need of business.

I highly recommend Happy Homes Cleaners. Money is tight these days, but every time I come home after one our bi-monthly cleaning, I literally start singing and dancing around as I go through the rooms and take in the great job they do. They are worth every penny. Joe is the front guy and is very easy to talk to. He is open to suggestions, wants to know what worked and how they could improve. Sometimes cleaners can start out strong and then start to slip over time. I find the quality of the work only improving as they get to know us and our house. Being as busy as we are, Happy Homes Cleaners goes a long way to keep things sane around here!

It went very well--initial contact with the company was professional and the crew showed up exactly when they were scheduled. Since this was a special promotion my expectations were fairly low, but overall I was pleased with the work they did. Were spots missed? Yes. Was the house far cleaner than when they arrived? Absolutely. And the members of the crew who did the work were so very friendly and nice. It was a pleasure to have them around. I'm shopping around for a regular cleaning service and this was certainly a very strong audition.

Joe is a great guy and I'm sure his team is good. Perhaps my expectations were too high. But for $90, I want to be wowed, and I just wasn't that impressed. The house was definitely cleaner than I left it but I was looking for exceptional attention to detail and I just didn't get it. The house was clean, for sure, but there were little things that were missed. And my husband was disappointed and thought it just wasn't worth the money. Again, Joe is a great guy who is definitely working to build a business. I would give him a shot.

Sorry Joe. But I think customer service iis a big part of the whole experience. Let me just say that maybe you are very busy this time a year. But I think that is a positive not a negative to tell people who call just that. Rather than to tell them you will call them back at a certain date and not call at all. To bad we could not do business. I had called on Wednesday Nov. 24 (Day before Thanksgiving) I did acknowledge that when talking with Joe. He said he would call me Friday. It is now Tuesday and I haven't received a call. ************UPDATE 12/23/2010***************** Joe ended up calling be back and appologizing and asked for another chance. I did Give Joe that chance and he performed the work as we had discussed. Joe & Vivian did a good job. I would use them again and recomand to others.

The kiktchen was good but floors far from good. I went around vacuming conors after them and the showers were rinsed and that was it.

Joe and his wife are friendly, and the cleaning crew is clean and efficient with their time.

Purchased 4-hours of cleaning through Angie's List special. The team did an adequate job cleaning our house, which wasn't too dirty to begin with. They arrived on time and efficiently cleaned the whole house. They were pleasant and careful with our things. I can recommend them.

I contacted the service through Angie's list a short while ago, and Joe came over and met with me, to look over my condo and discuss his services. We made a date for the first time they were going to come and clean. They arrived on that day, with their equipment and cleaning products, and cleaned my home thoroughly. They were friendly, efficient and careful. I am totally satisfied with the cleaning and looking forward to their next visit.

We are not happy with them. They missed the times they were supposed to come. They had someone not show up and had them come back on a Saturday. We had them scheduled for a Tuesday and they thought it was Friday. We gave them one more chance and on that date they were too late to come. We are not happy with their service and stopped using them entirely. They are over-extended. They could not get it together.

Due to great reviews on Angie's List (with some notable exceptions) I called and left a message on Friday, October 22, 2010. I finally received a call-back on Thursday, October 28, 2010. We scheduled an appointment for Monday, November 1, 2010 at 6pm. I waited with my toddler for the appointment, tending to her as best as I could while checking the window and the phone: NO CALL NO SHOW. Thanks a heap - I'll go elsewhere. UPDATE: I distinctly recall when we set the appointment for, as I am pregnant and working and have very limited times I am available to meet. You called several days later, and advised "I'm a firefighter", as if this is supposed to mean something regarding your cleaning business. If you can't pay attention to both, maybe you should pick ONE.

Used a coupon from Angie's List to try them out; due to high demand from the coupon they had to reschedule a couple of times but they arrived on time on the scheduled date. We did a bit of de-cluttering to get things out of their way, put the dog outside then got out of their way. The owner of the company stopped by and chatted with us when the work was completed. We are considering having them come twice a month, having them clean will let us spend our weekends doing other things besides housework.

I never thought I would be the type of person who hired someone else to clean my home. As the demands of family and career pressed on my wife and I, we reluctantly agreed to hire a cleaning service. It is a decision I have never regretted. Happy Homes did a fantastic job! I was delighted by the quality and thoroughness of the cleaning, the affordable price and the professionalism of Joe Pinto, the proprietor.

We had a great experience. Two women came out first thing in the morning to begin work (on a holiday weekend) and Joe called me when they were getting ready to finish up. I met him at the house and he inspected the work and asked them to redo a few areas. They were very thorough, and the house looked 100 times better. We would definitely use them again.

I signed up for their house cleaning service as part of Angie's "The Big Deal" promotion. The promotion price was $60.00 for a two hour slot which was pretty good. I contacted them to schedule a time for them to come and clean. The owner returned my call the same day and was very professional and courteous. He asked me if there was anything specific I wanted to focus on. I told him I just wanted a good cleaning service. They arrived on my schedule day earlier than scheduled which was great. There was a team of three cleaners. Overall, they did a pretty good job. I was especially impressed with how well the bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned. My stove top was very dirty from so much use and they were able to remove all the grease and it looked like new. The only rooms they didn't get to were the living room and dining room because my house is pretty large and they only had a two hour time slot per the promotion. This didn't bother me since those are two rooms that are rarely used and are typically clean. I was satisified with their work and would use them again in the future.

They were prompt, courteous, responsive, professional and enthusiastic. I will definitely hire them again and will definitely pass their business card onto other friends.

After the move out cleaning provided by Happy Homes- this place looked brand new! It was almost hard to move out seeing it look so nice after its "make over." The owner Joe made sure to follow up with us to ensure that we were pleased- of course we were, in fact, we trust in their work so much that Happy Homes will now be cleaning our new place monthly!

GREAT company. Highly recommend them!!

I've never used a housecleaning service before, but I've loved my experience with the Happy Homes team. Joe is flexible to work with and tries to fit his team to my schedule. The team of women (two) that I met were extremely friendly and did an amazing job on my house. I trust them and plan to continue using their services. Money well spent!
