I purchased a coupon for 6 hours of cleaning from Angie's List. Renata was great and very responsive in scheduling an appointment and also emailed me the morning of the appointment to confirm/remind me when her crew would be arriving, which was nice. Two cleaners showed up, and got to work right away after discussing what I wanted done (essentially cleaning everything). Over the span of 3 hours, they did a great job cleaning my bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping the floors, dusting, scrubbing down my kitchen, and cleaning a staircase. I was most impressed by the quick and thorough job they did at cleaning a very dirty shower, cleaning my dirty oven range (which I could never seem to get very clean myself, despite soaking and scrubbing!), and how they even moved my couches from the wall to do a thorough vacuum of the floors. They also restored my sink to a clean, white brightness that literally made it look brand new. At the end, they loaded my dishwasher and also bagged up trash from my trash can. Unfortunately I live in the city and can't put my trash outside til trash collection day, so I had to keep the trash in my unit, but I appreciated the effort!

At first very well, but I think they got overwhelmed by response to big deal. At first the same group came, but then it turned into different people each time. Quality of work diminished slightly over time. Lateness was a contant issue.

Renata and the team did MUCH more than I asked and did a flat-out Excellent job. Others mentioned that she does not provide a full day (6 hours), but brings 2 other cleaners, and they work for 2 hours. Having cancelled a whole day, I found that annoying, but the quality of work made up for it. The only caveat is that they - and anyone who works inside someone's home - would do well to assume that the householder knows at least a little of the language they speak.

I had a bad experience with them. I sent them an e-mail, but they haven’t responded to me. I am not sure if they are still in business. It wasn’t the best experience. They were supposed to be here for a certain number of hours and one person working with them wasn’t working very hard. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing. So, I kind of felt a little cheated there. That girl was kind of clueless when she left. She took my magazines and put them in the sink bucket where I keep my toilet plunger. When they first came in, I asked them to use green products. When I called to arrange the cleaning service, the person on the phone said that they would be happy to use green products. That person told me to tell the people about the same when they arrived. However, they didn’t even listen to me when they arrived. I was trying to talk to a lady and she sprayed some chemicals on my stove. I didn’t have a chance to discuss what I did and didn’t want. I hired them in response to the Angie’s List big deal. The deal was for about $75, but I don’t remember. It left me very unhappy. They didn’t do a good job of cleaning, but it wasn’t too bad. Their price was fine. Their responsiveness wasn’t too bad and their punctuality was good. I wouldn’t use their services again.

The cleaning was very good and the ladies were friendly and polite. Difficult to get a hold of the owners by phone and they don't confirm appointments when I called or emailed but they come per my requests.

It was a good experience. There was a little difficulty in setting up the appointment-a bit of phone tag- but it was not problematic. They came when they said they would and did a great job. The house looked great when they were done and I would use them again.

This is the second time I have used Happy Homes Cleaning when they offered a coupon and was again very satisfied with the quality and efficiency. Three women cleaned my house top to bottom in 2 hours. I appreciated the extra touches like arranging stuffed animals around the pillows in my children's rooms. I recommend them to others and would hire them again.

They took forever to schedule an appt. Then they did not show up on that date we agreed on and did not call to say they were not coming. When I phoned it took them ages to call back. We finally set another date and they were an hour late. Three people showed up, I showed them what to do and they cleaned. They did not move the kitchen table to clean around it and it was filthy on one side of the floor because they did not move the table. Overall they did a poor job cleaning. I would not use them again.

It never started-so, there is NOTHING to say here !!

I contacted them via email and via phone to ask about using the coupon we had purchased earlier in the year. They did not both to reply to the email or to phone me back. I was very disappointed.

Tried contacting the company from the phone number on Angie's List, turns out the number was disconnected. I contacted Angie's List in regards to this and they were able to give me an additional number which was his cell phone number. The gentleman said hello and I let him know about his previous number being disconnected and he said he was just heading to the office and would call back. I did not hear back from him so I tried calling him back on the original number given and it was working again. I ended up leaving a message on this number but I still have not heard anything back.

They are here currently and this is their second visit. They are on Angie's List. I got them through the Big Deal. This is the first visit so it is $140.00 for the first visit, but normally $100.00 for once a month. The prices are different depending on how frequently you have them. My interaction with them has been very positive. I think they are efficient. They come in and they know what they want to do. They get to work, they do it, and they leave a clean home which is wonderful.

Thus far the women of the home and I are very happy with the cleaning job!

I did not use this company, I have been trying to contact them for months and cannot get a hold to get the services rendered. I called once a week and left voice-mails for them and heard nothing.

They were excellent. Scheduled about 2 weeks in advance by phone, left a message and they called me back and were available the day I wanted. They showed up on time (actually 10 minutes early) with three people, and performed a solid 2 hours each of cleaning (totaling the 6 cleaning hours I had purchased). Floors looked great and even the hard to clean areas where dirt/dust gets between our antique wood floorboards looked good. I should also mention we had tried to clean our hardwood floors and couldn't get the fine plaster dust out of the floor grain, which is why we called them, and they cleaned it very effectively. Surfaces were cleaned well and even the inset detail areas of our kitchen cabinets and vent hood were cleaned well. Bathroom cleaning was also good, but not as thorough as the other areas. They were very fast, cleaned up after themselves (removed used supplies, etc.) and the house was gratefully back to our pre-remodeling clean state. Am considering scheduling them to come on a repeating basis in the future.

Arrived on time. Fufilled all my request and went over and above to make sure I was satisfied. House looks and smell great! Great Value!

They were very accommodating. I had purchased a Big Deal coupon and called to schedule but then had to change the scheduled date. They arrived at the dot of 8 a.m., as promised, and did a very nice job. There were three women. Contrary to the description on Angie's, I did not have the impression that any of the three were the owner (either the fire fighter or his wife Priscilla). Nonetheless, the three women who came were professional and hard-working. The coupon was for 4 hours of cleaning, and they provided 3 people for 1.5 hours, so it was actually 4.5 hours, but they got a lot done in that time. I wish I had been more organized to pick things up in the bedroom better so they could have done more vacuuming and dusting in there, but they did what they could under the circumstances. I provided a list of my priorities for their time, and they went well beyond it--washing some windows, vacuuming upstairs, etc.

I called to redeem my coupon for 4 hours of house cleaning and received a call back the next day. I made the appointment about two weeks out and was told there would be three people cleaning for an hour and a half. I thought that was odd b/c the coupon was for 4 hours, but apparantly since there were three people, it turned out to be more of a cumulitive man hour type thing. I received a call two hours before they were supposed to come b/c they didn't have my complete street address and the wrong town. About two minutes after I corrected them, they called again to see if I would mind moving the appt from 10 AM to noon (this was at 8:00 AM). I agreed to the shift. Three women showed up at 11:45 AM and did an OK job overall, but I was a little disappointed by the way they left some things. I understood that items on dressers and coffee tables would need to be moved to clean better, but I didn't think they did the best job putting stuff back. Not horrible, but a little lacking in extra care - I think they were worried about time. I also had a minor issue with the tub - we had a water stain in one area that they seemed to get out, but then new stains seemed to appear on the floor of the tub after they cleaned it. When I pointed it out, they tried to get it out and improved it slightly. I was trying to explain that the problem wasn't with the fact that it was a stubborn stain (I realize they exist and some are hard to get rid of) but the fact that it wasn't really there before. They seemed to either not understand the issue or not be too concerned with it and basically gave a "sorry, we tried" kind of answer. They finished up in a little over an hour and packed up to leave when I noticed what looked like a scratched area on my kitchen counter. When I called outside for them to come back so I could ask about it. I could hear one woman give a sort of "aye yi yi" comment under her breath. When I showed her the area that seemed "buffed out", she wiped it down a bit and didn't really get again my concern that they over scoured an area that affected the pattern and left the counter in worse shape than it started (in one small area). They seemed eager to leave and I felt like they might've rushed a bit. The house was clean, but I was not happy with the overall attitude. I spoke with the owner, Joe, about the counter and he seemed apologetic. He agreed to come over to check out the scratch, and after one cancelation and rescheduling finally came over. He said he'd look into some possibilities to fix it and would get back to me in a few days. I never heard back, and probably should've followed-up on my end by calling him after a week or so, but I really shouldn't have had to and just didn't want to have to deal with it anymore.

Did not respond to my email request for service.

I am frustrated with both Happy Homes, for not returning any of my calls over two days, and Angie's List because I could not talk to someone yesterday. I would like a refund. I learned on the afternoon of the 10th, that my credit card was refunded the coupon cost,. for the housecleaning service.

They went out of their way to accommodate us on that particular day. They were pretty punctual, but they were running around doing different jobs. The women did a really good, clean job. They cleaned really well. I don't know what their real rates are as I had a special deal. It was a good price.

They were there promptly with all the supplies needed to clean an 8 room home to get ready for sale. They were very professional and thorough.

This was a very pleasant experience. The three women were thorough and proficient and made the apartment sparkling clean for an open house I was planning for Sunday. I would also add that they were very busy and made time for me because of the open house.
