 + -1 moreOverall, the experience was okay. The market for my area is very slow right now, so simply advertising in the Boston Globe didn't do much to bring in calls. My decision to switch was mainly because I didn't feel City Square had the experience or resources to effectively market during these slow times. For example, even though my area tends to attract potential buyers who either work or want to live in Boston/Cambridge, but can't afford the prices, City Square was advertising on the North Shore paper rather than focusing on Boston neighborhoods. Also, I didn't find that City Square knew anything more about my neighborhood than the competing realtors.
Description of Work: I had a condo loft on the market from March 2006 though September 2006. I initially contracted with City Square Realty through a referral with a fellow condo resident. They served as a Seller's agent for March through May. And during that time, placed a few newspaper ads and held a few open houses. At the end of May, I switched companies.
