I was pleased beyond all expectations. First, even though I was outside their service area, seeing that I was in trouble, they came anyway. Second, armed with the model number of my machine, they arrived with an array of spare parts. I would never have guessed that a failed strip heater would have been the culprit but they spotted right away that a failed defrosting heater would gradually block half the cooling efficiency. Just so happened they had a brand new replacement heater on the truck and in short order my GE was working like new. The efficiency, professionalism and competency of the repair person was just plain top-drawer. I recommend Sheehans Appliance Service with my highest 100% approval. Don't forget to look up the model number first when you call and increase your chance for a one-trip repair like I received.

It was an easy, hassle-free experience. I found Brian to be honest and dependable.

Perfect! I called Brian on a Thursday he came out on a Monday (we were leaving that day for the weekend). Immediately diagnosed the problem - the part came in that same week - Thursday and he came out within a few hours and my 20+ old Amana is now freezing as it should and the frig is again keeping things cold and I now have an appliance repair person I can trust and depend on. Win win!

I called on a Friday afternoon. My call was promptly returned and we set an appointment for first thing Monday morning. Turned out I needed a replacment part that he could manage by Thursday. Except when I mentioned that I was expecting company at the end of the week he made promised to have the part by Wednesday. Then he called Monday evening and told me he could replace the part Tuesday morning. YAY. By 9am Tuesday morning I'm doing laundry! I definitely recommended Sheehan's.

Brian was prompt in getting my call, scheduling an appointment for the next morning, and arriving right on time for our broken fridge (wasn't cooling). Upon arrival he quickly assessed the problem and suggested buying a new one due to the cost involved with repairing an older out dated fridge. While he wasn't there long I appreciated his honesty, professionalism, friendliness, and that he didn't try and milk the appointment for more. He even discounted the Angie's List coupon without my asking. I would and definitely will use him again for future appliance repairs.

I have a 10-day-old and my washing machine broke Saturday night. I needed it fixed fast. Sheehan's managed to get me in first thing Monday morning and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I would / will use him again, and would recommend him to anyone else looking for appliance repair.

Went well on all fronts. Fridge has some electronic issue with dust et al, that was fixed. Washer seemed fine, but still had it looked at ended up getting the water tray changed which was done well. Dishwasher broke and the estimate was high enough to warrant a new one. Brian helped buy a new one. Price w/ installation was competitive with the market. Brian, in general, based on my few service calls seems to be a thorough, patient and punctual professional. I definitely recommend him for all your appliance needs.

Went well on all fronts. Brian is a thorough, patient, prompt to respond and a thorough professional. His suggestions after a thorough review and recommendations have worked for us. Fridge and washer were fixed over service calls which is exactly what we were hoping for. But we did need to get a new dishwasher after the estimate to repair was going to be up there anyways. We went with Brian for the new dishwasher as-well as the price with installation (and hauling the old one away) seemed competitive compared to market and scheduling was much more reasonable. All worth it in the end as we thought he did a great and thorough job with the install. Bottomline - We'll definitely be calling him again for our appliance needs and highly recommend him.

I was told by Sears at 2:00 that despite my active service contract, they could not repair my refrigerator for almost two weeks. I found Brian Sheehan on Angie's List, and he was there by 6:30 that same day. He diagnosed and repaired the problems quickly and efficiently and for a very reasonable price.

Overall experience was very positive. Brian arrived on time and was able to fix the issue in a very short amount of time. Very professional.

I called Brian yesterday because my washing machine has been moving across the floor every 3 or 4 loads for about a month. More recently it would shake very hard and move really far during the spin cycle. He said he would arrive between 11-1 today. He arrived a little after 11. He leveled the machine and put rubber covers on the feet to also help. I decided to have him change the old hoses to new stainless steel hoses while he was here. He was polite and professional. I would gladly hire him again if I have other appliance service needs.

Brian was very responsive on Angie's list email and transparent in his pricing. We set up an initial appointment, however he missed the time window due to another customer obligation. He was apologetic and accommodating in rescheduling. On the subsequent date, he arrived within the time window. He diagnosed the issues quickly, including pointing out our dishwasher was not aligned level with the counter (which apparently shortens dishwasher life). He fixed the alignment and the door flashing (original reason for my call) quickly in less time than estimated, and for the same price. He had the right tools for the job and communicated well throughout. I especially appreciated his minute attention to detail. You can see he takes his craft very seriously.

The work went very, very well. They were on time, professional, polite, clean, and they finished the work quickly. It was a positive experience and I would use them again.

Brian responded within a few hours of my inquiry and was available the next day to stop by, he was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. After the repair the dryer is so quiet it sounds brand new.

We called Brian at Sheehan's Appliance Services because our dryer was making an unusual noise. He asked the make/model of the appliance (to ensure that he had the right parts). Brian's assessment over the phone was confirmed when he came the next day. He was prompt and knowledgeable. He made the repairs and charged a fair price. That evening, we noticed that the auto dry cycle would shut down at random times. We called Brian the next day and he made another trip out to the house. He suspected that the wiring harness was loose. He was correct and he resolved the issue. All of this, during the two days before Christmas. Very impressed with Brian's professionalism. We will call him again in the future.

We were having an issue with our Frigidaire oven, which would not heat up. We had already tried to fix the problem, replacing the igniter ourselves which was not successful. Also, in the process of self-repairing, we had bent one of the hinges on the oven door, so the door would not fully close. Our service call was booked for 12/9/15 between 8-10 AM. At 10 AM, Brian called saying he was going to be an hour late. He finally showed up around noon. He did not apologize for being late. When Brian showed up, it did not seem as though he was interested in fixing our oven, saying the oven was cheap (the oven is only 3 years old and never had an issue before). Brian assessed our oven to determine if the connections were working appropriately. He then checked the clock control panel and stated he believed that this was the problem. He recommended we try to find our own replacement clock as we could probably find it for cheaper than he could get it. Brian again stated that it would be better for us to spend $500 to buy a new oven rather than the $75 for the part and $75 for another visit for him to install, as we had already paid $75 for today's visit. Brian did not even try to fix the oven door. He stated that it was possible to fix by removing the side panel of the oven, but the hinge may need to be replaced. He did not remove the side panel to try to fix the hinge stating there were a lot of screws on the panel. Having spent $75 on the service call, nothing on our oven was actually fixed. While I understand that he did not have the parts available for the repairs, after the visit, the oven is in no better shape than before. I would have been nice to know if the hinge was fixable or if it needed to be replaced, but it didn't seem as though Brian was interested in finding this out for us. I would not us the company again or recommend their services.

Oven was reaching temperature but there were a series of baking disappointments that raised an eyebrow. When contacted, the vendor suggested replacing the igniter as they "get old". He also suggested testing the theory by getting the oven to temperature, then opening the door to let it drop and then see how long it took for it to reignite. That seemed to be the problem. So while the oven would reach temperature, it would vary widely waiting for reignition. Brian arrived very punctually and did the work in less than a half hour. We haven't roasted or baked too much since then but early indications are that things are back to ship shape. Do note however, that really expensive igniters go for about $60 on-line and average about $30.

I called Sheehan's Appliance multiple times no one answered the phone. I left messages with Sheehan's Appliance no one returned the calls. I drove to 129 Mill Rd, Chelmsford, MA expecting to find an Appliance store, it's just a house in a residential neighborhood. I crossed Sheehan's Appliance off my list of Appliance stores.

It was a nice man but my washer machine is still broken. I was disappointed in my overall experience. He did not know what was wrong with it but still charge me

I contacted Brian on Sunday to request that he repair my washing machine which would not power on. He replied soon after and said he would come on Tuesday. Since I would not be home that morning, he said he would arrive between 12 and 2. He asked me to email him the model number of the machine, which I did. When he arrived on Tuesday right at 12, he determined I needed a new door latch. Suspecting that was the problem before he came, he had tried to purchase a new door latch to bring with him but his supplier was temporarily out of stock. He said he would return on Thursday between 12 and 2 with a door latch .Once again he arrived right at 12. He installed the new door latch and ran the washer through the cycle with no problem. However, after he left, I tried to do a load of clothes but the washer wouldn't power on. I called Brian on his cell phone and he suggested I try unplugging the electric cord for 30 minutes and then plugging it in again. It worked and the machine has run fine ever since. I would definitely call Brian again for an appliance repair.

Brian was very responsive to our cloths problem. We did not expect anyone to deal with our problem on a Saturday but Brian was very quick to arrive, he diagnosed the problems and then get parts from a local supplier and installed them. The dryer was working well after his repair.

Brian was friendly, honest and professional. If something breaks in the future, I'd contact him again.

I have had them twice. Initially the choice was made because of an A rating on Angie's List and he is very close, literally down the street. We chose him first and he did such a good job we will have them whenever we need to.

Brian was on time, and completely professional. He got right to work and completed the job in about an hour.
