Our washing machine was no longer spinning the clothes during the spin and rinse cycle. We called Sheehan's Appliance based on the Angie's List review. I'm so glad we did! He wasn't able to come out that day, but made an appointment with us for the next morning. He arrived on time, worked efficiently and was able to fix (and replace a critical part) of our washing machine that day. We were up and running in a little over an hour. Thank goodness, because we had quite a bit of laundry piled up! I would definitely recommend them!

over 30 minutes late for appt and no call to let me know. he ID problem, but did not return calls to execute the repair. Net result $75 wasted for diagnosis and several weeks of back and forth phone calls to no avail.

I called, and we scheduled an appointment a week out. He provided a two-hour time window. Called when leaving the job he was on before, and arrived within the original time window. Laid down a blanket to keep the kitchen tile clean/dry. Removed the old dishwasher and took it away, then installed the new one. It was a tight squeeze, yet he kept at it and somehow got it installed. Made sure the dishwasher and existing counter top above were all level (even taking time to readjust, despite the fact it was 6:30 on a Friday night and I'm sure he wanted to go home). Tested it and checked for leaks. Overall, very happy and issue free thus far, about a week and a half out.

Brian was here on time. Checked out entire refrigerator found the problem. Apologized for not being able to fix and that it would be better to get a new refrigerator.

I asked Brian to come to evaluate a washing machine problem. He explained the problem the repair and the estimate priced. He then offered without prompting the opinion that it wasn't worth repairing. He did not try to push.I was prepared to pay his service call fee, but he asked if there were any other appliance issues that he might help out with. I showed him two which he addressed, doing the repair on one that was worth doing. The price for the service visit and the minor repair was very reasonable compared to what I had heard were the prices just for an estimate.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for a "Laundry Room Tune Up" with Brian Sheehan. On the initial visit he inspected my dryer vent and found deficiencies that needed repair/replacement. After a bit of a scheduling mix-up, Brian returned and replaced several sections of the dryer vent that needed replacement and cleaned the whole system out with a cool contraption - a leaf blower with a piece of duct attached to it. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and did quality work - I no longer have lint falling onto the basement floor when doing laundry! I would definitely call Brian again in the future for my appliance needs.

I found Sheehan's Appliance Service on Servicemagic, to install a dishwasher I was buying from Sears Outlet.. He responded within 2 minutes (! at 8pm, no less), and set up an appointment for two days later from 10-noon. He called at 11:00 to say he was running late, and arrived at 11:45, so juuust made the original window, but did come when he said he would. Brian was just great. It took a lot of time, effort, and maneuvering to remove the old dishwasher (prior owner had installed vinyl flooring after the d/w was already in, so there was a 1/4-1/2" lip to get past). He not only installed the new dishwasher and removed/ disposed of the old one, he also helped me remove the old tape gunk from the sears outlet store (his idea), then touched up the scratch that he did not cause that I found lurking under the tape. His price even included the "universal hose adapter." All the work was neatly done. The composite wood floor was unmarred. As a comparison, Sears charges $230 plus $11 for the hose, plus $10 for disposal. This does include delivery ($70), but I was told they would not discount if I brought the unit home myself (in fact, the salesperson said they would not install it if they didn't also do the delivery); it fit nicely into the back of a Subaru Forester. The Sears Outlet where I purchased it said it would be $149 for installation, but the salesman started backpedaling when I said, "Great! The regular Sears charges $230!" and told me well it actually might end up being $230, so I shouldn't be surprised if that's how it rings up when I actually make the purchase. I would definitely recommend Brian Sheehan, and I plan to use him again if I need anything else installed or repaired.

When I called, Brian Sheehan knew exactly what was wrong with the dishwasher. An appointment was scheduled and he actually called the day before to ask if he could do the installation a day early since he is very local and had the time which was fine. Installation took less than 15 minutes and appliance works fine. My only complaint is the cost - $150 ($75 labor, $75 part) - and I am more annoyed at Maytag (this is the 4th service call on a 7 year old appliance) than Brian's charge.

Brian did a great job. He got the fridge model information from us over the phone and ordered the replacement door gasket. He showed up when he said he would and quickly replaced the gasket. He gave us a tip on cleaning the gasket periodically to remove any sticky food residue, which can cause the gasket to stick and tear. Overall, it was a positive experience!

he was prompt. and very nice. the price for the part itself was high. i'm not sure if that was a contractor price or retail. but, all is working well and we are happy.

Overall it was good. The repairman showed up about an hour late. I don't know if he tried calling ahead, so I'll take some of the blame. He explained why the clothes dryer wasn't working and advised me that it wasn't worth repairing. I appreciate that.

Called Brian on Thursday and he came the very next morning at 8 am. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He ran the washer to make sure it wasn't something else that caused the belt to fail. He was prompt, professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

MR. SHEEHAN CAME ON TIME AND DID THE WORK QUICKLY AND WELL. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.
