We used Sheehan's appliance service for a major repair on our 10-year old GE refrigerator. Brian was extremely responsive-- answered his cell phone and happened to be nearby on another job, so he was at my house within a few minutes. He gave me an estimate, but the refrigerator seemed to be working again and I didn't call him back for another week, when it started acting up again. He came back with the parts in a couple of days and replaced the control board and sensor ( approx $350). When the refrigerator still failed to cool, he came back the next day (on a Saturday after working all day on another job) and made a minor adjustment. The fridge is working fine now. Brian was very professional, returned calls and gave a reasonable window of arrival time. He kept in touch if he was delayed. The final bill was the same as the estimate.

My 9 year old Fridgidaire was not making ice. The ice maker had been replaced/fixed 4 times in 6 years and we noticed that the water line was dripping and needed to be replaced. I called Brian and he suggested that the water line drip may be the problem with the ice maker. So I replaced the water line and the ice maker started making ice well again. Brian came and fixed a loose auger on the auto feed for the ice shute. Glad I followed his suggestion and did not order a new ice maker before replacing the water line.

It couldn't have gone more smoothly. Though we initially had trouble connecting with Brian over e-mail, he was very responsive by phone. Thankfully, he was available to disconnect our old appliances before the delivery people came (Sears had originally told us that their men would disconnect AND haul away the old appliances, but that was not true) and then he installed everything. He was very professional and courteous (even asking if it was okay to use the bathroom), and was very careful with our floors and counters. Everything looks great and seems to be working just fine. We would definitely recommend him and hire him again for future work.

We had purchased a microwave, cooktop and oven at Sears. Having watched Sears install a refrigerator earlier in the year, we knew we needed someone more skilled for this. We found his name through Angie's list and contracted Brian for the installation. Brian's was accommodating from a scheduling standpoint and patient when we ran into a few issues (size of oven opening was off, microwave was longer than old unit, gas shut off valve was covered by finished basement). He not only worked around the issues, but also brought in a plumber to solve the gas issue. Everything worked out well and I would not hesitate recommending his services in the future.

He was very nice, professional and prompt.

Brian was able to diagnose that the main PCB needed to be replaced, get the part that was needed ordered with a few days, and get it installed promptly. The part was expensive, but then again, so was the 42" Fridge that it was going into, so I cant complain there. He came on a Saturday morning, and got it installed, and its working now. His charges were reasonable, and his service prompt.

Brian was terrific from start to finish. He was able to come service my washing machine the very next day and did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about what the problem was and spent about an hour making sure the machine drained properly. He let us know that there were parts that we may have to replace in the future and gave us cost estimates. He also told us our machine was about 8 years old and would last only another 2 to 4 years, so that we may consider buying a new machine rather than replacing those costly parts. We will definitely use Sheehan's again!

My experience went very well. The staff was friendly and professional. The pricing was reasonable. I was pleased with the outcome of the service. I would recommend this company to others.

Took machine apart. Cleaned elements. Advised new part would cost approximately $200. Decided to purchase new machine to replace 15 yr. old machine.

We had a great experience with Brian of Sheehan Appliance Services. We had a washer and dryer that were about 10 yrs old we were replacing as part of a home renovation. Brian was punctual and prefessional. He did a great job for a fair price and advised us that our old units were still in good working order. He also helped re-locate them to our basement for storage or future use.

The part was expensive, but the labor reasonable. The work was well done! Both the initial visit and repair visit (when part arrived) were on time. Took care to protect the floor when sliding out stove; work space was clean when repair was complete. I've used this service person before and will do so again.

This is third time we have had this refrigerator repaired. Always the freezer periodically leaking. We called and we did indeed have someone come the same day. A not-so-adept repair technician came and after a couple of trips replaced the thermostat and control panel to the tune of several hundred dollars. He put the freezer drawer back together so it didn't close tightly so he came again. Then the freezer bulb didn't work. He came back again. This time we called Sheehan Appliance and Brian came the next day. He knew right off that there was something plugged and it would take a little time. Since it wasn't critical, we mutually agreed for him to come back. Today he arrived a little ahead of time. Push-pull, click-click he very competently fixed what turns out to be a pretty common problem with certain refrigerators viz. plugged drains. It took him roughly one hour and we could see he knew exactly what he was doing.

I was very pleased with the service. He came to my house on a Saturday which was helpful to me since I work during the week. There was no extra charge. He was careful to cover the glass cook top and he worked quickly and left my kitchen as clean as when he walked in. I would hire again.

Fast, pollite and effective. I had expected a much more expensive and complicated fix.

Owner of the company was prompt and efficient and repaired the oven as promised. He called ahead to make sure he had any parts that might be needed.

Everything went well. Brian took out the old cooktop and replaced it with a new Frigidaire five burner Ceramic Cooktop. He had to widen the space somewhat for this new cooktop to fit. We were very satisfied with his work. Brian performed the work quickly, neatly, no problems. We thought that the total price of $1074.94 which included a tax and labor of $225.00 was very reasonable for what we got and all the labor involved. Brian seemed very professional and we would definitely use him again.

The person who came out knew what he was doing, came on time, he was personable and favorable. Everything went fine. We were satisfied with their service and they had a fair price. We would recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Everything went well. He took away the old dishwasher free of charge. I thawed the refrigerator with a hair dryer to cut down on the time/cost. He charged $175 to install the dishwasher which was the same price as two other estimates. He charged $85 to fix the refrigerator. He gave a $10 discount for being an Angie's List member. I would use him again.

Called repairman, arrived later in the day when promised. Replaced safety switch and ordered the relay. Restarted the refrigerator. when refrigerator turned off again later that day, promised a return visit as soon as the part was received. came out earlier than forecast and installed the relay. Refrigerator working fine now.

It went well. Brian returned my phone call quickly, came on time, diagnosed the problem and returned the next day with the needed part.

Our washing machine broke on a Saturday. I called and left a message for assistance. I received a call back within hours. We made an appointment and he showed up just when he said he would. He made an assessment of the problem. Brian gave me a quote, told me what day and time he would be back and he did just as he said. He could not have been any more prompt, efficient or honest. I have told neighbors about him already.

I noted our fridge started making noises overnight on a Friday night. When I checked the freezer on Saturday AM, I noted that items were beginning to defrost. I called Brian early - around 8AM, and he was willing to come out immediately to take a look. He arrived around 2:30 - only because of our own scheduling conflicts. He had it all fixed and running smoothly in an hour's time. Easy to work with, friendly and courteous. Price was totally reasonable, too. I'll definitely be calling him again.

Friendly, thorough, and highly knowledgeable Brian took the time to properly diagnosis our refrigerator (unit had lost the ability to keep food frozen and to make ice). With the parts ordered/in hand he returned promptly (within two days of the initial call) to install the components. Upon completion, Brian also took the additional steps of checking the water filter and line in order to ensure proper flow. Brian?s services are definitely worth considering before you decide to replace the entire unit with a new one ($$$).

The entire process went well. Brian Sheehan was punctual, professional, and courteous. A few days later, we requested a minor mechanical adjustment to the cooktop (due to a flaw in the product design). Sheehan promptly returned and made the adjustment, at no additional charge. We have been using the new cooktop for over 7 weeks and are pleased with the installation. We recommend Sheehan's Appliance Services.

I called Sheehan's on a Wednesday, after discovering my refrigerator stopped working. They were able to come over that afternoon to diagnose the problem and contacted me immediately regarding the rough cost and expected repair date (based on parts which needed to be ordered). 2 days later, the parts arrived and Sheehan's was able to complete the repair that Friday. Great experience and saved me from having to go out and by a new refrigerator, just before the holidays.
