Good experience overall. Had to install new patio after a patio fire. The owner (Stevhan) takes personal charge of the project and took the time to talk through various options (i.e. stone choice, pattern etc.).the work was delivered as agreed. There was no upsell or last minute additional charges. They even concrete plastered a small portion of a basement wall within the quoted price. The clean job could have been better but i am happy with the final result. .Overall, i would recommend this company.

The project was started on time and finished before the deadline. Stevhan is incredibly diligent in communication and was very attentive to questions we had about the project.

Roots N Shoots installed stone steps, a stone walkway, and replaced a stone retaining wall. They also installed sod at the end of the project. Stevhan is the most responsive contractor I have ever worked with. The work was completed on time and within the quoted price. Highly recommend!!

How do I begin to tell you the EXCELLENT workmanship the Company has provided. The workers were outstanding, kind, caring, and hard working. The owner Steven was an out right Gentlemen, Very unusual in this line of work, PROFESSIONAL! Steven made sure we were satisfied with every detail of the project. We had beautiful landscaping, sod grass with such detail to planting of shrubs, grass and tree. Beautiful paver were laid by hand in our driveway and patio, a paver design walkway, granite steps front and back, rod iron railings, and the pillars were laid by hand and NOT pre-made. We also had retaining walls built. I CAN'T believe it is my HOME. Thank you Steve and crew for your excellent workmanship , care, and QUALITY WORK. My project was a large asphalt driveway with 6 course cobble inlays allowing for drainage of heavy rain at the driveway entrance, at the height of the wrap around driveway as well as at the entry of the 3 car garage . The project involved stone repair of two worn concrete decks with granite framing of the steel mountain grey stone I choose. This enhancement was topped off with wrought iron rails to support the look. I admired Stevhan's vision and insight to suggest design options with cobbles to showcase my deck of my multifamily home and garden. The crew was diligent, timely, and Stevhan made periodic visits to ensure customer satisfaction as well as supervise the work.

Roots 'n Shoots recently finished our permeable blue stone patio and we couldn't be happier. They show up on time, are super nice and even were able to help us with a few extra things all for a reasonable price.

Stevhan and his team were excellent, not only do they work extremely hard, they are great people and friendly to talk to. Stevhan and his crew did and amazing job. They replaced a 70 year old retaining wall and the results are far more than we expected. Stevhan and his crew are honest, responsive, and true craftsmen. I have paid Roots n Shoots 150k from March 2020 to July 2021, they havent finished my new landscaping construction by now. The owner Stevhan forced me to sign a release future litigation and lawsuits to him and his company plus remove building a outdoor fireplace from contact, otherwise they wont come to finish current jobs in process. They blocked my driveway and steps by stones. I have call police to see the worksite. Leaving many comer sods uninstalled.. Stevhan warned me not to talk to his employees. He imagined I hired his guys worked to me in back of him. I am so disappointed with the company.

Hard worker

Stevhan is an amazing landscaper. Superb work all around. Stevhan patiently listened and offered suggestions. He had a vision as to what to do to transform our neglected yard. And he did just that. He turned our messy, ugly yard into a beautiful space. With 4 huge bobcat machines, he removed and rebuilt two retaining walls. He also did massive landscaping.. He pulled out many overgrown bushes, planted flowers and various small bushes, he fixed our walkway, took piles of brush from 15 years. He moved huge stones in front of our driveway to showcase better. I canâ t say enough about Stevhanâ s professional work, his great personality and his commitment to excellence. And all for a lot less than prices quoted by other landscapers. Thanks, Stevhan.

Stevhan did a great job converting our vision into reality and our landscaping looks fantastic. The team were flexible and courteous and managed through challenges when they arose. We had hardscaping, landscaping and new sod installed and are very happy with the finished product.

We needed major work done in front of our house: a wider driveway (paved, with a drywell), a new front path, a new set of front steps, and a new sewer line (to replace the faulty old one). Stevhan and his crew were efficient and hardworking, and the job was done within two weeks, faster than expected. The end result is lovely - aesthetically pleasing, and solid, with a deep drywell, new retaining wall, and nice pavers. Stevhan was a pleasure to work with - responsive, made good suggestions, and tried to make sure we were pleased with the job. He was also able to adapt when unforeseen problems arose - a major gas line meant we had to widen the driveway on the other side, and a boundary marker (which we didn't know about) limited our room for action. His genial crew even liked our coffee and cookies! I warmly recommend him for work of this nature.

We met with a few other landscapers in the area, and we really appreciated Stevhan's attitude, professionalism, and expertise. We needed our front yard to be filled in with sod, and decided to replace a small tree and add a perennial garden at the same time. Stevhan was responsive by phone and email throughout the planning and installation process, answering any questions we had along the way. His crew picked up the plants and a small tree that we had picked out at a local nursery, then worked with us to customize the layout and placement on site. Everyone we interacted with at Roots 'N Shoots was helpful, personable, and attentive. Stevhan came by during the installation to oversee details and give specific instructions for the next few weeks' of yard care to ensure the plants all settle in well. We definitely recommend them, and will plan on reaching out again for any future landscaping projects we encounter.

Roots 'N Shoots did a great job transforming out front yard. Stevhan and his crew had the tools and skill necessary to remove at strip of asphalt, a retaining wall and concrete curbing. They then leveled, installed a beautiful cobblestone border along two good size mulch beds, sodded and planted 30+ bushes and trees. Stevhan did not have a couple areas of work in his original quote but was very professional and fair in delivering our expected result and then some. Stevhan was great with communicating with us during the project and would certainly work with him and his crew again.
