Good work and very nice technician but extremely overpriced. $841 for replacing two taco zone valve heads (about $100/ea) in under 2 hours works out to around $320/hour. I had a quote for another HVAC pro for $150/hour (which I thought was somewhat high for just one guy - boy was I wrong).

BEWARE!!!! INCOMPETENT, HARD SELL, AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN CRISIS!!!! This plumbing firm was very responsive and came within hours of being called. Things went downhill from there. The workers they sent (one plumber, one teen helper) failed to find the problem causing our lack of hot water, and required us to spend money on each different thing they tried to diagnose why we were having a drop in water pressure in the hot water line (for instance flush the line, replace a portion of a pipe to see if there was a blockage, etc.), as opposed to simply bill us per hour. In the end, Milltown charged us over $800, left a spout they installed dangling from the ceiling and blocking a door from opening, tracked dirt all over the carpet and floor, and then left us with the same problem that existed when they arrived. After we were told that piping and plumbing fixtures throughout our entire home needed to be replaced (tearing down ceilings, walls, kitchen cupboards, and replacing all fixtures and appliances), and that just starting with repiping the entire basement would be at least $6,6000-9,500, and actually fixing the problem could be two or three times that amount, we had them leave. We then called two other plumbers to give us estimates, and one of them did the entire job AND repaired the mess left by Milltown for FAR LESS than the original $800 that Milltown charged us. This was a HORRIBLE experience.

Milltown Plumbing - owner made good on negative experience. While we had a negative experience (see below) the owner, Fred, called a week after the incident and apologized and offer to refund cost of service and compensation for lose of items. He seemed very sincere and said that he sanctioned the plumber that did the work at the home. The incident: We believe that one of their plumbers robbed us of a few small, but valuable household items and over $100 in cash. We recently had a plumbing emergency that required us to find a plumber who could take care of the issue on very short notice. We eventually contacted Milltown Plumbing who could send someone within a few hours; despite the fact that the "emergency service charge" was very high, we accepted it and waited for the plumber. When he arrived, he asked me to go the bathrooms and repeatedly flush and wait for the refilling of the toilet tanks; that got me out of the room where he was "timing" the refills to determine the water pressure. Eventually, he turned off the water to the house and made the repair. While doing it, he talked about the need to replace the water heater; the next day, I found out that the water heater was still under a full warranty. The next day I went to use something that was in a bathroom where the plumber went that I use every day and found that it was missing. My wife and I looked and could not find and started to look around the house to see if anything else was missing. There were other small items missing and over $100 was missing from my wife's purse. Given that we were not out of house between the plumbing work and the discovery of the missing items, we believe that the plumber sent by Milltown took the money and items while having me run around the house doing specious tests. I contacted a manager, Christian, at Milltown who said that he would investigate and promptly get back to me. Three days later he called and said that he asked the plumber who denied taking anything and looked in his truck and found none of the missing items. Four days later the owner, Fred called and apologized and offered to compensate our losses and refund cost of the service.

Milltown plumbing contractor came on the scheduled date for fixing new faucets in kitchen and bathroom. They went above and beyond to replace any/all rotten pipes and joints such that they last for a very long time. They also closed an open gas outlet that could have been a safety hazard. They are also the designated plumbing company for our condo building and it helped for them to coordinate with condo staff for shutting off water supply during the repairs.

Milltown was very professional, showed up on time & kept me updated regarding the repair status/progress through out the time spent in my house ( approx. 4.5-5 hours). I was very impressed with Jessie who did the tune-up on the furnace. He was very professional, arrived early, clearly explained what he was doing, willingly answered all questions, identified a potential area of concern that I had not known, and then resolved it after we agreed on what he was to do. Plus, he offered recommendations as to what I could do to better maintaining it and the water heater. I highly recommend him without hesitation.

It was great doing business with them. They were on time and easy to deal with. Performed a TuneUp on the heating system. The technician, Kevin Lausier, was thorough and informative. He even got our humidifyer back in working order. I plan on requesting Kevin at Milltown to come back out and tuneup our AC system when the time comes. I'd definitely hire this company again.

Kevin L. demonstrated highly professional and sincere approach to issues I've got in my heating systems in regards with what should be done and what shouldn't, didn't try to get me into any needless expenses (that by the way other potential contractors did) during first free estimate visit. The price was very competitive (to say the least) comparing to other offers I was getting previously for this work. The job itself has been done according to schedule without any delays.
