Description of Work: We used Jon Karlson and his crew to shovel the snow off our roof and remove our ice dams before they caused damage. He came recommended by a friend and gave us an estimate of $1200-1500 to shovel off our entire roof if it needed it. This is about what we've spent in previous years for a roof smaller than our current one, so it seemed fair. He came on time, shoveled off the part of the roof most affected by the heavy snow and ice, then charged us only $450. He wasn't able to get the ice dams down because they were so massive, but he did cut channels in them to drain the melting snow. We've had no problems since then. I'd hire him again, but I hope never to see another winter like this one.
