+ 1 moreI called four local providers on Angie's List and Joe was the only one who returned my call. I prefer to use local suppliers and he came right over to discuss what I needed. We scheduled the job right after the snow melted, he showed up on time and performed a quality job. Joe is very knowledgeable and I will be using him in the future to repair my front walk. + -1 moreFirst time I have ever used snow removal/plowing service. Professional, friendly and timely. Will absolutely use again. I needed several feet of snow cleared before sunset. I called around 3:30. He returned my call, came, evaluated the situation, gave me a great price and completed the job before 4:30! Even helped clear snow off car. Positive experience.

+ -1 moreI have used Joe's services for the last 2 years. He always does a great job of clearing out my driveway. The only caveat is that Joe also has a lot of commercial clients and if we get hit with really heavy snow storms his residential clients may have to wait. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about Joe's services.

+ 2 moreJoe was very pleasant, helpful, professional and showed up exactly when he said he would. I haven't decided to go ahead with any landscape or hardscape work as of yet but Joe was not pressuring in any way and seemed very honest and genuine in his desire to give me the best advice. He seemed very knowledgeable and creative, offering several solutions of varying cost and efficacy with details of how the work might be completed. He showed me images of work he'd done all of which were very impressive. When I move forward with my landscaping dreams in the Spring, I'll be giving Joe a call. I'll update my review if and when that happens. My only hope is that he isn't fully booked with other work until 2015.
Description of Work: This review is for landscaping, not snow removal. I'm not sure why it is categorized that way and if there's some way to change it please let me know... Called Joe and asked if he could give some advice and quotes on work that was needed at residence. Irrigation, walkways, etc. He came by the next day and spent an hour advising me on the premises in sub-freezing temperatures all with a smile and pleasant personality. A few weeks later I called again and he came by and spent more time advising me. He went above and beyond what I'd expect for any kind of free estimate, and consultation and he even helped me out by roughly measure out my property lines with a measuring wheel. He also helped me get a quote from another contractor to have some trees removed.

Description of Work: Joe was kind enough to do ad hoc plowing for us when we were in a pinch on two separate ocassions this winter. He arrived quickly, was personable and kind, reasonably priced and did an excellent job. He also assisted with a recommendation for a replacement snowblower. If we do landscaping work this summer, we will most definitely use his company.

I didn't end up hiring him for the plowing because he indicated that he couldn't guarantee the and quot;before workand quot; timing I needed. (He has a number of prior commitments to commercial customers). I so much appreciated his honesty -- and especially his willingness to be a backup for me if I ever needed him in case I were to get stranded by a storm. When it comes time to start landscaping projects, I'll definitely call on him.

+ 2 moreFirst time I met Joe (over 5 years ago) was when he noticed that a tree had fallen on my house after a storm and stopped by to offer assistance. I had not noticed that I had a problem and was very grateful for the assistance !! Since then, I have Joe do various extensive landscaping projects on my property. Joe also replaced my front steps. The house and property looks 100% better all thanks for Joe ! Joe also does my snow removal and I could not ask for a better service. He is reliable and dependable. Joe cares about his clients and it shows. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. I highly recommend Joe Heider and Joseph's Landscaping.
Description of Work: Joe is exceptional. He has helped me tremendously with various outside projects throughout the years. He also does snow removal for me every winter. As others have stated, he is a quailty maniac. When he does something, he does it right. He stands behind any work he performs and offers invaluable suggestions and options which I appreciate.
