Well no one ever showed up.

I found them off of Angie's List. The experience was good. They did the job, cleaned up and there was no muss or fuss. Their customer service stood out.

It worked out very well. They did an excellent job.

Everything went well. Would use them again.

It was good.

Preface: As of this writing today is July 3, 2013 - and I don't recall the year - I think it was around 2005 - --- other than that - I Do recall how poorly it went. I live not far away - in North Billerica (Less than 3 miles) When I called a woman answered the phone who - well I'll say - probably 'over 50'. I explained I had a tree in bad shape in a difficult place to deal with -- AND that I am very fussy and wanted to meet with someone IN-PERSON - face to face. She said it would be the owner (I forget his name now - was it Joe?). She asked to take my number and have him call me back. I explained that I have a sleep disorder - and NOT to call me before 9AM. She LAUGHED at this. - So I reiterated that I was serious to NOT call me before 9AM. And I restated I wanted to meet with this estimator in-person. She said she understood --- But her tone sounded like she didn't take me seriously. About 2-3 days later - EARLY morning - that owner called me - I think it was like 7:30am. Then he stated that He had ALREADY been to my property --- and had a price worked out for 'The Job'. I asked him, and quot;What Job? - you NEVER met with me??!!and quot; I told him - there are special concerns I have with my property and things that could only be pointed out IN-PERSON. And up-front - I told him - his receptionist was told - TWICE Not to call me before 9AM!! None of this phased him - other than waking me up an hour and a half before my alarm - he was cordial. BUT he would NOT return to meet with me - he considered it 'Unnecessary' (apparently HIS needs and wants are more important than mine) I recall his estimate was $1,200 - I had someone else do it for $900. About a month later - I looked up his home phone number -- and called him before and quot;Iand quot; turned in for the night --- ---- at 11:30PM!! - He told me that I woke him up. I agreed that it is Very frustrating to be awoken up by an inconsiderate person!! He humbly apologized for having called me too early. I felt sad about the whole thing - he seemed like a nice guy - yet still - he and that woman who answered the phone - simply don't listen or bend. Life and business - should be simpler and less complicated than it is.

Community tree came down to give an estimate within 24 hours of my calling them. As I was not home for the estimate, they left it in my door along with a copy of their insurance information. Although I ended up choosing another company, I'm sure Community Tree would have done a professional job.

I used them about 10 years ago and I plan on hiring them again very soon. They were in and out quickly and did an amazing job. Then they sent someone else to come back and grind down the stumps. The price then was very competitive as was the quote they gave me recently.

They are good. I don't remember how much I spent but I know it was several hundred dollars. I don't know how much it was. They are the kind of people in town who do this work. So they're very well known and because of that, they have a lot of resources. You know that you're dealing with people who know what they're talking about. I'm very happy with them and they do good service. I think it's just hard to compete with them; they are very big. Everybody pretty much around here knows them. They are kind of big. That does not mean that they are not good. They are still very good. I went with another tree service company after that because Community Tree Service was not available. I needed someone to come right away because of the hurricane. All the tree service companies are expensive. I will use their services again in the future.

They gave the quote but there were some major issues as far as communicating back. They did the quote on July 14 and didn't come back until the end of July or beginning of August to do the work. They were very poor in responding. The office staff was deplorable. They were rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. The crew that came out was excellent. The owner's daughter and his wife were answering the phones and they were very rude and very unprofessional. The owner was unprofessional as well and rather rude with me. He knew I was under a severe time limit because I had construction starting in my home. They had the best price for some of the ones that I had talked to but their professionalism and customer service was sadly lacking. The price was excellent. They were punctual on the day of the work. I probably wouldn't use them again.

They came to our house and gave an estimate - some of our trees were SO large that many other companies wouldn't go near them. They were professional, and did the job all in one day, even making several trips with their trucks to lug all the tree trunks away. Great people.
