They moved two homes in 6 hours flat. They were absolutely amazing. They're extremely efficient and well organized. They hustled, there was no lolly gaggeling around. They didn't stop the entire time. They also had the expertise to skillfully pack the trailer securely and tightly. We could not have done this ourselves even if we had a whole week to do it - the fact that they finished in 6 hours, including an hour drive from one home to another, was so impressive. I used Roadrunner 10 years ago and they were amazing back then. I was so happy to see that their high quality services remain in tact. They were so easy to work with, from scheduling the move with the office staff to working with the movers the day of. They also provided documents with helpful tips on how to pack and move when you scheduled the move. You cannot go wrong. Call them!

A great crew of guys helped pack and move us. The move was so organized, the process was so smooth, the guys were a pleasure to be around -- so professional, helpful and kind! I recommend them with the highest praise. Let's face it, moving is a pain. These folks made it so easy for us.

They did a great job! First, Dave is very responsive and helpful via email and phone. He took time to answer all of my questions before, during, and after our move. The team they sent was punctual and took good care of our belongings. I called several moving companies and am very happy we went with Roadrunner!

These guys showed up on time everything was as expected no surprises in pricing we moved lots of small stuff ourselves & used them mainly for big items in our apartment & our storage unit. They worked very quickly and the preparation we did saved a lot of time. They took a lot of care with our items were very friendly & professional & worked quickly so we came in under our estimate as expected because of our prep. 4 man crew 2 trucks though we only used 1 & they charged by the hour. Got the move done between 9:30 & 2:30pm & stopped for a quick lunchbreak. They honored heir Angie's lift offer . Great experience highly recommend!

Very positive experience! I?m pretty sure only one item was broken/cracked, and it was something I packed very poorly. These guys moved my wife and I into a Federal period home with super narrow doorways and it wasn?t easy. In fact, in order to get the couch in the living room, the foreman of the job had to remove doors, move semi-permanent furniture, and muscle the couch around corners and over heat registers. I?ve never seen anything like it. Superior effort. And the job came in under time and under budget (results may vary -- we were VERY well prepped). I suppose the movers themselves could have been a bit friendlier, but I?m apt to think that about everyone. They warmed up some when we gave them coffee and donuts and took the time to learn their names. And the owners of the company (who take your initial phone call and job info, and then come out to tally your stuff and give you a quote) were super nice as well. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

This is my second experience with Roadrunner in less than two years. (See my review in 10/2014.) How am I glad that I chose them again! The shipment was picked up in mid-December. Due to the holiday break, it was stored in the RR warehouse (free of charge) for a month. For the delivery in Seattle, the owner of the company made a strategic decision to haul the shipment across the country one week ahead of schedule to avoid the extreme weather conditions in Northwest and in New England. The truck went through I-90 all the way to WA where it was delayed for one day as the mountain pass was close for crossing that day. The shipment was safely delivered as soon as it arrived in Seattle. Even each of the old antique furniture arrived in one piece. It helped that the delivery team took extra care re-wrapping those pieces for long distance travel. It was a professional job well done, Dave. The total cost included everything except for packing labor and materials. The line haul charge is not cheap but It's worth the assurance that my stuff will be moved to my new home safely. I'll always consider Roadrunner my partners when it comes to moving, whether it's moving in the neighborhood or across the country. Min-Hwa Cheng Kennard

These guys were terrific from start to finish. The guys in the office were great to deal with - very nice and efficient and really helpful. On the move day the moving crew arrived on time, took great care with our stuff and were incredibly fast - i was shocked at how fast they were - and they were really nice.And absolutely everything arrived in perfect condition, nothing was damaged or broken. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. Unlike other companies who based an estimate on a list I provided, Roadrunner took the time to come to our home, view my furnishings and give an estimate. Martin was very professional during the visit and his estimate was very accurate. There were several follow-up emails on details and reminders to prepare us for the move. The day of our move the crew arrived on time. Each one came into our home introduced themselves, shook our hands and appeared ready for the work. They were fast, efficient and very pleasant throughout the move. We knew our furniture was extremely heavy and the crew confirmed it, but they reassured us that they would get it up the stairs in our new house and it wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived at our new home they went about moving the smaller items in first, brought items to the basement as needed and each box was placed in the correct room accord to the label. The work began on the large furniture and despite its weight and the stairs they cracked a few jokes with each other and went about the work of getting it where it belong. We were very pleased with the entire experience and appreciate the attention to detail start to finish.

RoadRunners was absolutely the best part of a very stressful move. They knew what they were doing, were reliable and nice. I would highly recommend them.

Dave came to our home to give an estimate for moving us. His personality, professionalism and knowledgeable counsel won us over immediately. Plus, they obtain necessary parking permits which we knew we'd need and knew we did not want to have to deal with. We met with other movers but chose RoadRunner. The four-man RoadRunner crew showed up on time, worked non-stop from 9 a.m. and finished at 2 p.m. Dave came by to the house to check on the crew and offered me some congenial support during this huge down-sizing we were experiencing. In the condo, furniture, boxes and rugs were placed/set up as directed according to a floor plan we'd provided. It went exactly as we had hoped it would. Nothing was damaged, dented or dinged because of the care they all took moving furniture, china and a lot of art work. Doing business with someone who is not only very experienced but can offer a sense of comfort and humor was important to us. Moving is incredibly stressful and emotional.

I have used Roadrunner multiple times over the past 2 years, for helping move my stuff in and out for renovation, also for handling my new furniture and every time, their service has been excellent and the staff is an absolute pleasure to work with. A top quality business in my opinion. As well, we I recently encountered a problem with my new furniture, they were quick to refer me to help to another business and work with me to make sure my issue was resolved and they were extremely accommodating to allow me a few days to get it taken care of. I can't say how appreciative it is to work with a business that operates in this manner, you just don't find businesses like this as much these days. I 100% encourage you to work with them if you need moving and storage help.

They arrived on time, got right to work, were very courteous and professional and moved much faster than I thought possible given I was in a 3 story condo. They worked very hard and I only wish I could have removed a level of stairs for them! They beat me to my new home 1 1/2 hours away and this was much easier for them as it is a one story home with a basement walkout. Good job guys!

It took us about 6 weeks to get our stuff. They also had to hire a third party because they couldn't get our stuff to us. We ended up settling with them for damages because the packing in the third party truck was terrible and thrown in there and some of the stuff was wet. They were very nice but they were late.

Great! Despite a home buying problem causing the address to change to the very last minute. Dave's drivers were very accommodating and proactively communicative from beginning to end. A pleasure to work with and without any damage/missing item issues. I am already working on having them move again, if the crew is out here in SF again soon.

They were great. Moved into a new home with new hardwood floors. In a Nor'easter. They were professional, didn't leave any indication that there was a storm going on. Would highly recommend to anyone. Have moved a lot, and this crew - Gerardo, Nando and Danny - were great! Thanks guys!

It went great. Dave came over and spec'd the job, was very helpful and even gave me a few tips about my new neighborhood. His team was very professional, and capable. They packed what wasn't in boxes (most of my stuff including the kitchen) and they did so like a swarm of packing locusts; EVERYthing was packed and squared away in the afternoon of the first day, and then moved efficiently the morning of the second day. They also came back later to pick up the empty boxes and wrapping paper, which I appreciated. Also, they used big rubber bands to secure padding on items instead of tape, which I thought was both efficient and potentially kinder on my stuff. Regarding price, I forget what it was (so I put it blank) but I think it was a few thousand dollars. I don't remember thinking it was overly pricy. All in all, a great experience. I'd recommend them, and use them again!

These guys were amazing! Came in on time, reviewed items, worked hard and super efficient, wrapped up furniture nicely, moved it, unpacked etc. Took 6 hours, but there was so much stuff! It was great to work with them, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

These guys were great from the initial contact. Their quote was reasonable and the crew was phenomenal-exactly what you want-a bunch of burly, energetic, and friendly guys. They were quick and moved the entire house in about 4 hours during a downpour and didn't break a thing. Well done.

I'm glad I had Roadrunner as my trusted partner for this move. It was a difficult job, involving moving out of a 2000 SF unit on the 4th floor of a brownstone building. It required the use of a crane and all the hassles associated with it, as well as meticulous care in separating the stuff into different groups for different destinations. Roadrunner also did a fine job packing oversized paintings and China and glasses. Dave made a step by step plan for the move, taking into consideration of all my requirements. He was resourceful in dealing with the last minute challenges including a nasty neighbor trying to cause trouble.- He reached out and kept her under control. The crew were competent, focused, and professional. It was a mission accomplished and under the estimates. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to use Roadrunner again for my future moves. From the very beginning, when calling and discussing our plans, Martin and Sabrina were very professional, responsive and helpful. This move was a lengthy stressful process, however, the actual moving of boxes and storage part was not at all stressful. Roadrunner took that stress off of us. We wanted our home cleared of a bit of clutter before placing it on the market, so we packed up a bunch of our things. A 2-man crew came to our home and very efficiently got our things packed up nice and tight, on the truck. Anything that didn't really fit in a standard box they boxed up quickly in wardrobe boxes and padded furniture for protection. When it came time to move out, we had a 3-man crew come and again very efficiently (in the heat too!) worked to pack up and separate what was to go into storage and what would be moving with us, to temporary housing. At one point, while in temporary housing, we needed an item mistakenly put in storage (our error). Martin actually came to our apartment and dropped it off. Finally on our last move, they loaded up a truck with our 3 vaults from storage the night before. We had a 5-man crew show up the morning of our move, around 8:30am, and we were in our new house unpacking shortly after lunch. In fact, every crew member we met was so quick and hard-working, our actual cost was over $1500 less than the estimate. While I am not eager to move again, I would not hesitate to recommend Roadrunner to help you if you need this service. They were a pleasure to work with. We are 90% unpacked and only found 1 item broken. An item I packed. With all the moves and all the boxes, I was expecting a few broken items. They have a great team of hard-working people. Our move went very well. We could not have done this move by ourselves. We were pleased with the performance of the entire team. Dave aka Shakey was remarkable. I was impressed with his ability to remember where all the furniture was go as well as give direction to the other team members. When I wanted him to position something differently or move an item to another room, his reply was always "Not a problem." He was thorough in going room by room with me in our new house to ensure there was no damage and that everything was how we wanted it to be. In addition, the team has a nice camaraderie. They work well together and they work HARD. We had quite some large pieces of furniture to move. I also liked how all the employees had a roadrunner shirt on so I knew they were supposed to be there and I liked the continuity of have Dave be the lead for move out and move in day. It made it much smoother to have the same person leading as well as most of the same team members. Many thanks to Dave, Joe, Eliseu, and BJ. One surprise for us was that move in day started about 2 hours earlier than planned. We were trying to get painting and new carpet laid, but luckily both my contractors and the moving team were able to work around each other. In the end, it worked out fine but when the moving team showed up, we were panicked. I enjoyed working with Sabrina from the main office. She checked in with me after our move out at our old house. I appreciated her checking in. I let her know we were satisfied with the work done and requested that the move team clean up their cigarette butts and water bottles/soda cans. Moving is exhausting so I didn't want to have more cleaning added to my workload. Clean up after move in day was much better, there were only a few cigarette butts and NO water bottles/soda cans to pick up. Afterwards, I was reassured that there should be zero trash and cigarette butts and that the people involved were spoken to. Sabrina was also very helpful with our after move items that required repair. I expected there to be a delay or an issue with finding out how to get those items repaired but there was NONE. Dave, who did the estimate of the cost of moving, gave me great tips and advice. It all paid off. He was much more personable, knowledgeable, and willing to give me information whether I choose Roadrunner or not than the other 3 moving companies I interviewed. I was nervous after all the stories I had read online about awful moving experiences, but once I met Dave, I felt much more reassured. Then the move experience turned out to be better than I expected.

We reviewed several reviews on Angies List and decided to use Roadrunner based on those reviews. They didn't disappoint and delivered superior service. They arrived on time and were very efficient in the moving process. The move out day was very warm for Sept. and they didn't miss a beat. I didn't hear any complaining and they were meticulous about properly padding furniture, etc. Our situation called for having the items stored on the truck for a few days (additional fee) and they installed special seals to ensure our load wouldn't be tampered with. The move in was just as smooth although there was a bit of a mis-communication on the move in time (they were early) it didn't adversely effect my invoice amount. In the future, I would make a call to double check all the move in/out times to eliminate any confusion. My experience was great and admittedly we didn't shop around price too much but their charges seemed fair for the service provided. We would highly recommend.

Roadrunner was great from beginning to end. I contacted two additional moving services and decided to go with Roadrunner due to their responsiveness, professionalism, and competitive quote. Dave came to my home and gave me a good sense of how long the job would take while also dispensing good advice. On moving day, the crew was on-time and courteous. There was a three-man crew (including the foreman) who struck a great balance between working quickly and slowing down when necessary to consult us on a tricky item or special request. The crew loaded the truck within three hours (for a two-bedroom apartment) and unloaded in less-than three hours at our new house. The guys were going to keep working straight through lunch until I stopped them and made them eat some pizza we had ordered to make sure they had something to eat! Otherwise, I think they would have just kept going and going. One of the best indications of Roadrunner's professionalism is the following anecdote. We had just refinished our house's floors and told the crew that we really need them to take their time and be careful, and when possible please apply some felt pads to the bottom of some larger pieces: bookshelves, couches, desks, etc. They laid down moving pads everywhere, and with almost every piece that came in the door they applied the felt pads to the bottom before standing them up on our newly refinished hardwood -- they took incredible care with every piece, but still moved quickly to get the job done. We've moved four times in seven years, and Roadrunner was by far the best company we've worked with. Highest recommendations.
