Because of a difficult divorce, I first scheduled my move in the fall, and then on relatively short notice, had to change my dates to suit my ex-spouse's needs. In addition, I decided on a week's notice that I could take my piano with me to the new place. Roadrunner worked with me to ensure that the schedule worked for me, and got a crane at the last minute to lift my piano to its new home without a bump or scratch. The crew was to the last person smiling, hardworking and efficient, and did not complain at all when I changed my mind about the destination of a few things...They did the work within the estimated time and expense, and the division of the boxes went smoothly. And then they came to pick up my emptied boxes at exactly the time specified - within a one hour window! Roadrunner will definitely move me the next time. This move was a difficult one for me, and they were just the best!

From start to finish, this was an excellent experience. I called Dave on a Thursday morning and we were able to arrange the move for the next morning as he happened to have a truck headed that way. Rik, the driver, arrived on time and was very professional in all regards. The table was delivered on Saturday morning without a hitch.

They were GREAT! From the first call, they were responsive and followed up if we left a message. They came around to give an estimate and met every point in it. They arrived at our home at the agreed time and took exactly the amount of time we planned. The crew was very professional and really a pleasure to work with. This was the smoothest move we've had! I would absolutely recommend Roadrunner to friends and family.

I did search and find them on Angie's List. I selected them because they had an "A" rating and were among the top few. I told Dave, the main guy there, that I would post a report on them. They did a really secular job. They quoted me well and stayed within 10 % of the original quote. The driver and everyone was friendly. They stayed in touch. I didn't have to deal with voicemail like with larger companies. They would return my call within half an hour with any request I had. They took really good care of all of my belongings. The people in both condo's said how nicely the movers moved in and out. They were even ahead of time.

From the initial estimate, to the scheduling and through both moves they were always friendly, encouraging, extremely polite and professional and fun to work with. Our estimate from Dave was reasonable and actually higher than final costs (a pleasant surprise). They were extremely accommodating when it came to scheduling, especially as the last leg of our move ran into their busy fall season. Both teams were staffed with great guys who were patient and polite and worked incredibly hard to complete the job within a reasonable amount of time. Rick's team, in particular, was staffed with some really great guys; it was a pleasure to work with them. They were all unbelievably careful with our possessions (more so than most of our furniture deserves) and everything survived completely intact and undamaged. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone; they made what is always a stressful process so much easier than we ever expected it could be.

I had some uncertainty around my move time and they were very flexible in delaying the movers and truck. Every time I spoke with them they were friendly, informative, and professional. The movers themselves were friendly, efficient, and hustled the entire time. I am very happy with their service and would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

Their arrival was delayed significantly by the customer scheduled before us. However, they (Rik) called and asked us how flexible our schedule was. He stayed in-touch and arrived at the rescheduled time on which we agreed. Rik and the other two members of the crew hustled like mad on a hot, humid and rainy day but were unfailingly polite (and had a good sense of humor to boot). They had to go up and down a couple of flights of stairs on one end and over fifty stairs on the other. They had all the necessary materials/equipment to move everything safely and quickly.

I had a fantastic experience with Roadrunner Moving. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful and they were flexible and accommodating regarding the schedule. Dave and the staff were all responsive, the movers were prompt and everything was handled in a professional manner. I am extremely happy with Roadrunner -- they made moving less stressful and if they will come down to New York I would absolutely use them again. In short, I highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with Roadrunner's performance from beginning to end. They are PROS with a great process and they understand the importance of customer service. You can find cheaper alternatives but after 12 long distance moves during a military career, we appreciate the value of a professional moving company like Roadrunner and the importance of a safe, successful move. Face it - moving is an inherently stressful experience -- it's worth it to have a company like Roadrunner that you can trust to do it right and be looking out for the customer's interest. Dave did the initial estimate and coordinated the schedule, along with Denis. Rik supervised the pack-up, truck loading, in/out of storage, cross-country drive, and unloading/set-up in California. All three were GREAT to work with. Roadrunner has our highest recommendation to anyone contemplating a move -- locally or long distance.

This is the 2nd time we've used Roadrunner and were very pleased with both moves. The movers were certainly hard working and efficient. Not only that, but they were also very careful, friendly and creative in how they moved the furniture. They were more than fair in the charges (I would say they are probably cheaper than any comparable providers). Keep in mind that the move included significant driving time, as the locations were over an hour away, but again, they were more than fair in their charges. Each time I used Roadrunner, I did not have to worry about a thing, was pleasantly surprised with the final bill and, most importantly, impressed with their work.

From the initial conversation with Dave,everything went smoothly. He was very informative on the phone and followed with a visit to estimate the cost of the job. He gave us suggestions for packing and checked in with us before our big move. With a crew of 6 men and 2 trucks,our home was empty in record time. As prepared as we were,there were still items(mirrors,wall art,etc.)that had to be packed by the crew. They also provided wardrobes for our clothing. As we weren't passing papers on our new home until the next morning, everything was put into storage at their facility. Our move into our new home went just as smoothly. Paul and the men were professional, polite and were a pleasure to work with. I must mention that these 2 days were the hottest days that we had in June and they worked so diligently. This was a great experience and we would hire them again!

The movers were polite, friendly and great sense of humor. We we're ready on both ends for the movers. We fed them lunch and dinner because they spent the time making sure everything was padded, put smaller boxes into a wardrobe box for easier porting, came in exactly on the quote and did not charge overage. Only drawback was on the target side we had two deep dings into stairwell plaster, which was a major bummer since the wall is dark. We are still unpacking at this point. Overall we are pleased with this mover and the move. And we are very happy to be in our new home. Thanks!

Roadrunner arrived on time and expediciously wrapped and moved my furniture and boxes. They did a great job and did not complain despite the fact that they moved everything up four flights of stairs. They even finished on time!

Paolo and his crew arrived, just when promised. Every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in padding, before loading on the truck and protected every step of the way, into the new location. They were pleasant, professional and a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to use this company for future moves.

EXCELLENT! From the initial estimating process to the very end, Roadrunner delivered first-rate, non-stop service and support, and at very fair pricing! They did what they'd say they would do at the price they quoted, and did it all with a smile. The staff in the office and the moving staff were professional, friendly, reliable, communicative, trustworthy, careful, and caring. Roadrunner showed up when they said they were going to, handled everything with extreme care (they are masters at custom-boxing!), were efficient, listened and took direction beautifully, and pro actively contacted me before, during and after the move to check in and provide updates. Also, they were both less expensive and more 'human' than other companies I got quotes from. These guys are good!

Great operation! Free estimate was provided in person prior to the move. Received a reminder call two days prior. On the day of the move the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, completed the job on time, and within budget. There was no damage to any of our furniture.

They gave me an incredibly personalized serviced. Dave always checked in with me to make sure things were going smoothly and the same people who moved me out and drove across the country also moved me in. They handled everything with care and didn't break anything and I'd recommend them to everyone!

They were very cooperative in establishing a time to come by and give me an estimate. They were punctual, professional, and asked pertinent questions. The process was thoroughly explained; an estimate of 5.5 hours was given and a cap not to exceed 10% was also given. They supplied boxes and wrapping paper punctually when I asked for them. I was charged only for the items I used, and they suggested that I look on Craig's List for moving supplies that were being given away or sold at a reduced price. They were punctual when arriving to move my furnishings. They treated the furnishing with care and were very proficient. It took only 4 hours to move.

They sent the same crew both days, which I appreciated, as we got a chance to get to know the guys. The packing crew recommended some changes to our moving day crew(a five man rather than a four man team, one truck rather than two), and I liked that flexibility. They were on time, courteous, good-natured, efficient, and professional. They handled the packing and moving with grace and ease, and were in all ways a pleasure to deal with. They took gentle care of our furniture, and were nice to our toddler and our dog! We had used the same company five years before and had a very good experience; I would absolutely use them again. Finally, to ice the cake of a very good experience, they came in below their estimate!

The company ensured parking permits were posted well in advance of the moving date. They also came by twice to post reminders on car windshields. The three movers were extremely professional. They were efficient, which was appreciated, but were also very diligent to ensure all my belongings were well packed.

AFTER THE MOVE WAS COMPLETED, THE OWNER CALLED ME TO FOLLOW UP AND MAKE SURE THAT ALL WENT WELL. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. THEY ARRIVE EARLY AND DON'T WASTE TIME.
