Move from Boston to Florida. I did most of the packing of clothes books, some pictures etc.. Roadrunner packed big or special things like huge vase, lamps, TV, vacuum etc. as well as furniture. Guys were very efficient, careful, and organized. Unpacking on other end went very well also. Owner was very easy to work with and accommodating, as were all the other employees. Job wasn't let out to another agency for the long haul which we felt was much preferable as well as being a benefit scheduling-wise. All around great job and would highly recommend Roadrunner for moving service, integrity and being very easy to work with.

I had read good things about this company and had an excellent conversation with a representative on the phone. We were to meet between 5:30 and 6:00 PM at my house for an estimate. I rushed home to arrive at 5:55 (according to my AT&T cell phone time which is obtained via the tower) and he had already left early. He also had not called my cell to tell me that he was leaving, only called the house phone. I felt it was a waste of my time because I had to leave work early and could not reschedule this appointment.

We had some difficulty in finding a new house and had to be out of our old one just before September 1 - not a good combination. Roadrunner showed great flexibility in handling several late changes to our dates and locations and were unfailingly helpful, courteous, and professional from the rough estimate over the phone, to the formal on site quote, to the moves. Their quote was conservative, so even after the addition of week's storage and having to unpack and repack the truck they were barely over their original estimate.

They did a great job, made a stressful day less stressful. We will use them again in the spring for the move out. Could not have moved into this dorm by ourselves five flights of stairs and lots of boxes. GREAT JOB...

They were very flexible and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend them highly to others. I could not say enough about this company they were great. They were on time and prompt. They were very affordable. They are locally owned.

Dave and his crew were great! We moved from Boston to Minneapolis last month and I was very anxious about the whole transition. From the first day of the estimate until the last day of delivery, Dave, Dennis and the crew were patient, responsive and supportive. They were always prompt,professional, and extremely careful with my beloved items. In addition to the load and delivery, I opted for a partial pack of fragile items and I am pleased to report that everything was packed with care and arrived at my destination without any casualties. Jose, our driver was lovely and made it a point to repeatedly check in with us throughout his travels to keep us abreast of his progress. Although, they were not the most competitive estimate we received, but it was worth it! You can guarantee you are getting what you pay for. Not to mention, our original estimate was honored without problem, even though the weight of our items exceeded Dave's initial guess. I would recommend Roadrunner highly. The small nature of the company makes you feel like your patronage is very important to them. They were very reasonably priced and they worked quickly. They were timely, very helpful and accommodating. We needed to hoist something, and they were able to do it without coming back. They were also very careful with everything.

Our experience with Road Runner was great from start to finish. Every email and phone call I sent was returned in a timely, satisfactory and pleasant manner. The move was smooth and our team of movers was professional and super careful with all of our stuff. We chose to pack our own items but Road Runner helped us think through the best way to do so, came over and did a personal walk through and answered all my questions (and believe me, I had lots)! We had never used movers before and I after this experience, I'm never going back to moving ourselves. Well, assuming we can take Road Runner where ever we go! They offered a top quality service at a lower price than we were quoted from other top companies in the region.

They were great, from the first call to get the estimate to answering all my questions leading up to the move, and on the day of the move itself. The movers were right on time and got right to work, friendly and efficient. They even helped my husband fit the oversized air conditioner into the window before they left. The estimate they gave me was higher than the actual cost, by a bit. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

I wanted to use Roadrunner but the dates I needed were already taken so they referred me to another storage and moving company. I will use them in the future.

We had an interstate move and they had the stuff there for us the next morning. We wanted things unloaded on specific floors and they did it with no problem. They also reassembled and unwrapped the furniture they had packed up. Maybe more importantly, after the move was over, we had a question about how the final bill was calculated. Dave emailed me immediately and went right to work sorting it out. In the end he generously issued me a credit. They were terrific, and I would give them my highest recommendation. Boston is clearly a moving town and there are a lot of movers in the area. I have heard all kinds of stories about moves in Boston, but if you want one that is quick, professional, and painless, go with Roadrunners.

Dave Mareira paid attention to our concerns from the beginning and throughout. His initial visit to assess how much stuff we had was friendly and thorough. As moving day approached and we discovered we needed help packing various things, Roadrunner scheduled somebody to help us with no problem. On moving day, the Roadrunner crew's courtesy and efficiency helped keep my stress levels down. We split our stuff into two loads, a smallish one to go to the house where we would be staying for a few months, and the rest to go to a storage space. The smaller one arrived and unloaded smoothly. The rest was delayed through no fault of Roadrunner. Dave called us promptly to explain and apologize. Roadrunner stored that load at no cost to us in their MA warehouse, and when we discovered we needed some boxes in that load, Dave had them sent across the country to us by courier at Roadrunner's expense. When the bigger load did arrive, the Roadrunner employee was friendly, conscientious, and efficient with unloading everything and repacking it into our storage space. Overall, Roadrunner made our cross-country move as stress-free as it could have been. Worth every penny.

Move went extremely well! I was impressed with overall team work, professionalism, sense of humor, and each individual worker. Estimate was above price which made for wonderful surprise, and is always appreciated! Movers treated all items with care, even those that were obviously not valuable. They appeared to move effortlessly, even with large items, and with many boxes which can be tedious. From start, i.e., estimate, to finish, everything went better than I could have asked. Highly recommend, and will definitely use again!

It was fairly well. The owner had came out at first to go over the move with me. He was wonderful. We moved under bad conditions. It was winter and very slick. There was one worker that we that weren't happy with. I had some packers come out the day before the move and they came to look the house to see what there all was. They day of the move this worker was annoyed that there was stuff in the garage that he did not see but when the owner had came out we had went over all of this so they had to paperwork for it all. We had a desk that was to be broken down and throw away and there was a miscommunication and he started breaking down the wrong desk. He then got mad toward me saying I had told him wrong but never sorry said to me about the desk. Other than this one worker every one else was very good. They worked very hard under difficult conditions. The pricing was very fair.

Friendly, professional, careful, fast.

The long and short of my experience with Roadrunner is that these people, those on the phones and those who came to my house to move me, made me feel like I was in the safest possible hands. Because of bad landlords, I had to move three times within about 5 months, and I was under a great deal of stress. They provided the best possible combination of being professional and down-to-earth at the same time that I felt like they were my friends. They worked hard, moved fast, and had good senses of humor, and were thorough, down to the last detail. They were also sweet to my dog. I can't imagine for one minute the thought of hiring any other company again for moving.

Their quote was the only thing that held us back from using this company.

The guys were courteous, friendly, and good-humored throughout the experience, and very reassuring (which we particularly appreciated with the stress of moving) from our very first phone contact with them. Their estimate was spot-on, even though we had forgotten to tell them about a number of things we needed and complications arose that we hadn't anticipated. They arrived early (which had never happened for us before with movers). They were able to transport this huge original oil painting without harm, and were absolutely undaunted by the prospect. Their disassembling and reassembling of exercise equipment was done in minutes, while another company specializing in moving exercise equipment had estimated it would take three hours. They noticed when we were about to place a bookshelf next to another that didn't quite match, and cheerfully offered to switch it with one they'd just moved a flight of stairs down. When our sofa wouldn't fit through any door in our new house, the guys refused to give up until they tried every possible means -- all of which they thought of (we would have shrugged our shoulders, put the sofa in the garage, and still have been satisfied with the move). They succeeded eventually by taking apart our living room window, getting on ladders and tiptoe to lift the sofa up to that level, putting the sofa through the window and setting it in place in the living room, and then putting everything back together. And all of this was done cheerfully and with astonishing speed. We would use this company again in a heartbeat and recommend them enthusiastically to anyone in the area contemplating a move. We hope to see them on the Page of Happiness, as they certainly made us very happy on a day that otherwise might have been incredibly stressfully and miserable!

They were excellent across the board. They were very good natured about all of the stairs they had to go up and down. They helped us finish packing. They unloaded everything for us. We had to keep the crew an extra four hours and they took it all in stride.

We had to move quickly from our 2 bedroom townhouse into storage until we could find a new place. We contacted several companies based on Angieslist reviews, Dave responded quickly and gave us the best quote of the three companies we interviewed. The Roadrunner crew did a great job of packing our furniture and art works, moved most of it to their storage facility the next day but also moved many boxes and items to our temporary storage facility. When it was time to move to our new place in CT, the Roadrunner crew picked up the items we had in self storage and drove to our new home in CT. The folks who work at our new complex were very impressed with the quality of protection that Roadrunner provided our furniture during the move. The crew was very professional, making every effort to protect the walls and floors of our new home as they brought in the two truckloads of furniture and boxes. It was a pleasure to work with them.

They were very personal, careful and trustworthy. Especially Rik who managed the move.

The movers arrived on time, first thing in the morning and started without hesitation. Items that we were a little worried about (glass doors, mirrors, etc) were identified and insured (although in the end they moved with no issues!). Just before noon, the condo was empty and we headed to our new home. The movers had too good of a work ethic that we nearly had to force them to take a break for lunch! Before we knew it, the move was done and everything was placed in the room we requested.

I had engaged Second Life Furniture Refinishing who sent RoadRunner movers to pick up and deliver my antique oak curio cabinet. Both upon pick up and the return of my cabinet, the movers were professional, polite and extremely careful with my furniture. They were sensitive to my concern to keep the piece safe from harm. When the piece was returned, the movers carefully reassembled the wheels, placed the shelf pegs and the shelves back in the cabinet and tied the key back on the door handle and took the time to explain that the key and pegs had been removed to prevent damage to the glass door and sides. I was really impressed with the care they took and their professionalism.

I'd called around and done a lot of searching online for companies to see their pricing and how they would handle the move. Roadrunner came in under estimate and they movers did a great job. They moved me the same day when they thought originally it would be a two day move (including overnight storage). Danny, Tony, and Paul did a great job moving me out of my new house and into my new home. They were very accommodating with me deciding to change where something went and were worked non-stop. The weather the day of the move was horrible (pouring down rain), but they kept going and didn't mess up my new house at all. I am very happy with the movers and the planner who helped me.

I was very happy we chose to have Roadrunner pack for us. With two small children, one on the way, and our home on the market, we did not have a chance to pack boxes in advance. We did de-clutter, so that anything that was packed was something we truly wanted to see on the other end. Roadrunner came in and quickly and efficiently packed everything for us. They moved everything into our new home with a crew of 5, quickly assembling beds and putting furniture into place. The staff was honest and pleasant to work with.
