"Moses and his team were phenomenal to work with. From the moment we met when we first discussed my project, he instilled me with confidence. He allowed me to see current projects he was working on similar to mine, he genuinely listened to what we wanted and made relevant, excellent suggestions to ensure that our project would meet our expectations, and stay within our budget. He came with excellent recommendations from his previous clients, of which I'm now proud to be one. His communication was always excellent, he didn't mind answering all my ignorant questions, and he worked seamlessly with my architect and kitchen/bathroom designer in order to complete the project within a reasonable timeframe given the scope of the project. Moses consistently went above and beyond expectations in order to make the project as stress-free for me as possible. His team worked tirelessly and while my family and I had to move out of our house due to the nature and extent of the project, he kept in constant contact with me, arranged frequent in-person meetings, and didn't mind me and my kids showing up unannounced to view the progress. My neighbors constantly told me how hard he and his crew were working, as they saw him on-site nearly every day. I would hire Moses and his team again, for any construction project, without hesitation and cannot recommend him or his hard-working team enough. If you are anxious about all the "contractor nightmare" stories out there, hire Moses and his team - you won't regret it! Outstanding!"

They stand behind their work and take pride in it. We have a house built in 1838 which needed external repairs to deal with weather, recently becoming more severe. They reconstructed and restored an upper rear deck, dining room porch and far-back lower deck, repaired a front dormer, repaired an entire front & side façade and then recovered it with new clapboard, installed millwork around new Pella windows, installed real shutters, & a far-back canopy. They rebuilt an elaborate rear yard fence and built a privacy gate. It is our pleasure to write this review, we feel lucky to have them available."

"We hired Lewis Weitzman to â rehabâ our kitchen. Lewis was amazing. We didnâ t need to hire an architect. Lewis, after extensive talks with us, came up with several redesigns that incorporated our tastes and preferences, while also taking into account the limitations of the space. Lewis was not only receptive, he was involved and creatively problem-solved every step of the way. Daily, he was there, overseeing the work of demolition teams, plumbers, cabinet makers, flooring experts, electricians, carpenters, and painters. When he discovered that one of our support beams had been taken down almost 30 years before, he quickly found a solution and was able to put up a massive beam that supported out entire upper floor. Throughout the work, we never had to worry when â discoveriesâ (never good ones, regarding electricity, plumbing, you name it) were made â we always knew Lewis would find solutions. Throughout the process, he continually helped us imagine new possibilities, whether it was uncovering a hidden brick wall or creating custom-made shelves in â dead spaces.â We had complete confidence in him â his work ethic, his skill, and his ability to coordinate multiple teams seamlessly. To us the result is amazing â we love our new kitchen and canâ t believe itâ s ours."

"The company (Black Dog) was hired to expand the bathroom and part of the basement renovation. The project started in October 2020 and it is still going through May 2021 with an unclear restart date after 2 no shows. It was promised to finish by Christmas. The company used 2 different colors of grout in the same room. They are planning to come back and redo it, waiting for 2 months now. They do not want to spend time on fixes. Leakage around the shower was noted, they promised to contact the subcontractor, but I have not heard from them yet. There are minor things missing, would pay attention to their contract as they may not do things like shelves installation as originally discussed. They seemed professional on initial evaluation and at the beginning, but now I am regretting that I hired them."
