Robert C. Brown quoted $1,226.20. Install approx. 40 liner feet (actually was less) 2-piece baseboard molding in Masterbath. Breakdown Labor: $1,010.00 Material: $216.00 1 1/2 days, 12 hours This equates to $85/hr. For a carpenter!!!!!! For the past 5+ years I have hired Robert C. Brown as my go to carpenter. Spending thousands of $s between my parents Cape house and our Cape Cod home. The only review on this site is the one I wrote. Wow, how things have changed...!!! When I recently asked for a quote, I was astounded at the price!!!! I called a good friend whom has close contacts with local trades. He too was astounded by the quote above, for the work to be done. He referred a reputable local carpenter, with an hourly substantially less than $85/hr. Bottom line, I hired a reputable local carpenter. The final invoice was as follows: $247.00 material/labor. 2 1/2 hrs labor. Robert C. Brown charging customers $85/hr for carpentery is pathetic. Treating a long time customer (me), whom paid on time, every time with an outrageous quote, insults my intelligence. I CAUTION ANYONE CONSIDERING USING ROBERT C. BROWN TO THINK TWICE. ONE WORD COMES TO MIND, "RIP OFF"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent. Timely, arrive on time, professional, constant communications with customer, cleaned work area at end of day. If there was potentially additional work, he would communicate and discuss with customer before proceeding. Takes pride in his work, and it shows. I highly recommend Robert C. Brown Custom Building and Remodeling.
