The room has a new rug so I wanted to make certain no damage was done to the rug. He provided a prefessional quote in a timely manner and I awardedhim the job. The company was prefessional in every regard from taking precausions to assure no damage was done to my home, to their prefessional demeanor, to their workmanship. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. I'd highly recommend Mel Reed Drywall.

Description of Work: I had ceiling damaged by a water leak. I required the replacement of an 8 ft x 8 ft section of ceiling replaced. I talked to three companies but asked for an estimate from Shawn Reed because of his caring gentle manner on the phone. Am I glad I did. He arrived on time, I immediately liked him. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB! They removed the damaged ceiling replaced the ceiling, came back for two short times to plaster and paint. They were so good that I am would love to find people who need drywall work so that I could refer them to Mel Reed Drywall!

+ -1 moreThe crew showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up and took the debris. The overall experience was very positive. Shawn came back the day after to see if we had any issues. there were none. When he presented me with the final bill the cost was $200 less than the estimate. I would recommend this company for any drywall work.
Description of Work: They installed drywall for me in our finished basement. They hung the sheetrock walls and ceilings in the morning, 1st coat taped it that afternoon and finish taped 2 days later followed by spraying primer several day after that. This was three seperate rooms including ceilings.
